Once the hidden village known as "Snow" was spared it's winery fate by Uzumaki Naruto many years back.
There are still some that can remember that fateful day when the sky broke and the curse of winter was broken with the soft winds of spring.
However after years of relative peace, a mysterious new enemy has risen and taken almost total control of Snow. The winds of winter now blow over the land and information (and people) does not go in... or out.

Hakubo stood in his all white cloak and clothing; on the edge of the village hidden in the Snow; He had seen a few faint foot prints but soon after finding them they where washed away by the snow making following then not an option. "So they should be around here somewhere" He said faintly to himself Before gazing back out at the frozen waist land before him. As he did that he pulled a few small puppet like birds and wound them up and let them fly into the frozen air in order to gather information. The frozen air washed over him bouncing off of the heavy layers of clothing that the boy had on.
He continued to look over the area, still finding no sign of the Tengu. "Damn it" He said biting his lip slightly. "Where are they?" He asked hoping that they did not already see him; while he still did not know where they where.

A single soldier walked from the dusky snow, accompanied by the rolling mist at his feet. Upon his face sat a red mask with a long nose, the mask of a Tengu. His breath came heavy from the mouth slit in great billowy whispers that promised death. The massive man stood almost 6 1/2 feet tall with twin swords sheathed blade down.
One of the scabbard was empty, it's ward was in the hand of the muscular man. Still about 100 yards off he glared with wild eyes threw his mask.

Hakubo saw the figure standing out in the snow; this was one of the times when he was glad that he was relatively small. He continued to watch the figure slowly lowering himself down into a crouching position; his plan was to watch the Samurai and follow him; hopefully back to the area where the higher ranking Tengu where located. Even though the figure was still far away the Young Ninja still did not dare make a noise.
'So these are the one's that are attacking the other villages' He thought to himself watching the Giant Samurai off in the distance. Hoping that he would lead him to there base; or camp. However that would be too easy; and things never went smoothly on missions; or at least that's what what Hakubo always thought.

Oddly enough the Samurai kept walking towards Hakubo. He was walking on a direct intercept path towards him. Closing the distance to about 50 yards he was still looking at him. His pace was not anything that alerted Hakubo that he was in a hurry to get to him- but he was certainly fixated on his location. The sword was held in his left arm, stiffly leveled parallel to the ground out beside him.

Hakubo watched as the Samurai's path remained fixated on his location. Ether he had very bad luck or the warrior before him had already located him; ether way this was not good for Hakubo himself, and ether way he had to move and get out of the warriors path or sight whichever he happened to be in. moving slowly he pulsed his chakra slightly in order to call one of the puppet like birds to him. As it swooped down and got close enough Hakubo connected a chakra string to it in order to control where it flew.
Hakubo used the minimum chakra needed in order to keep the string so that it could not be seen by any eyes that did not have some way to see chakra itself; such as the sharingan. As he moved the bird he made it fly close to the Samurai and Swoop at his face.
(If the Samurai reacts to the bird or look away from Hakubo)
The moment the Samurai acted Hakubo quickly made a few lightning fast hand signs and placed his hands together "Substitution Jutsu" As he said that Akuma switched placed with one of the other Small puppet like birds, which had landed about fifty yards to his left. The Moment he got to the new location he froze in place blending in with the snow.

Without so much as a glance to the bird the Tengu Samurai rushed, arms outstretched towards the Ninja.
The speed was staggering. The only likes of it was Warui in Sage mode. The man was a beast! The distance was closed in a fraction of a second. His sword was raised in both hands in a clumsy blow.
The shifting of snow could be heard from all around Hakubo. The snow shifted and revealed warriors sleepily rising from under the thick snow. They stood up, perhaps 3 or 4 in the immediate area. The trap was sprung. Maybe 20 stood within an area that Hakubo could see.

"Damn it!" Hakubo cursed as the Samurai raised up out of the snow. He had been ordered not to fight; but the Kage and himself took those words differently; the Kage most likely meant no violent combat; but to Hakubo; violence was a part of every day life; Fighting was to kill' so in his mind as long as he did not mean to kill them it was okay to enter combat.
Hakubo quickly rolled backwards in order to exit the immediate area. In the middle of the roll Hakubo pulled out a small Tag and dropped it on the ground; a thick gas then started to emit from the Tag; It was a potent version of the nerve toxin that he had used again Warui in the Chunin exam; if inhaled the person who's lungs it entered's body would be left numb and useless. "Some Spying mission; damn that Kage" He curse out loud; not caring if the Samurai heard the disgust he had for his own leader.

Bursting threw the smoke, the Tengu seemed not to be effected by it. He was surrounded... two deep by bodies. Their swords in varying degrees of readiness, but all look poised enough to kill.
A voice, echoing off the metallic inside of the masked ordered Hakubo to stand down,
"Lower... your weapons. Stand... down. You... won't be harmed. You... are out classed. The days... of violence are over."

Hakubo looked at the Samurai who had spoken and did not react for a moment, he then connected a chakra string to the tag and made a fist, the smoke quickly dissipating from the tag until it was nothing more then a piece of paper with some scribbles on it. He then stood up and looked at the Samurai before him; he was a giant.
Hakubo knew that he would not last long in a fight with this figure; but with the weaponry hidden within his mechanical arm; If something happened he had enough to get away with his life. "If the Day of Violence are over; why are you still at War with the Villages" He said looking at the Giant before him.

"The world of the ninja... is a violent one. Ruled by violence... created threw violence. Violence will... be it's end." Said the herculean figured before him.
"Come... with us. You... need to meet. Out master."

It was odd, even though the Samurai before him spoke about putting an end to the world of Ninja; what he said was the same as what Hakubo thought; almost every ninja he had meet did there best to kill there target as quickly and well as they could; which Hakubo beloved was almost never the correct way to do; which is why most of Hakubo's weapons where used to disarm or take his opponent out of combat without killing him.
The boy looked at the Samurai and looked at the Giant in almost Awe. "R-right" He said nodding slightly before following the figure as he began walking. He then made a single hand signs and caused the mechanical birds to explode. Making it so that no one would ever be able to see the information that they had gathered.

Not another word came from the massive Tengu who simply walked like stone statues, hands at their sides, escorting Hakubo threw the extensive wastelands. There was NOTHING. Not even a land mark, just endless fields of snow. The temperature was below freezing but the massive samurai didn't seem to care at all.

Yoshitsune pulled his coat around him tightly and fastened it as he walked across the barren tundra. Through his gloves he could feel his own cold fingers pressed into his palm. As he was wearing mostly white, he would be hard to see in the blizzard as he crossed the cold emptiness.

Yoshitsune didnt bother looking for a place to stay, as he did not like the icy wind that blew in his face and chilled his bones. Having found nothign but giant samurai figures, who he guessed were dressed like that from the cold, he made his way through the tundra again back through to the Grass village to eat, rest, and recouperate before heading out again.
