 Still learning about his new home Abloec was exploring allot. He was not a shy Soquili but everyone seemd to be busy or occupied, and it just felt wrong to him yo jump into what others were doing. He knew it was going to take time to make friends, but that didn't stop him feeling lonely sometimes. He was funloving but chilld out so he wasn't too worried, he just needed to find someone that wanted to talk or hang out. He wasn't really too worried what they did, he would be happy either way. All he needed to do was keep exploring, surely he would run into someone who had time and wanted to talk... Eventually.

Just like many others of her kind; that was, those whom had come from the same land as she and suddenly found themselves alone in this strange place, she was exploring. Or rather, in her case, she was walking. Learning the nature of the existence she now occupied, the feel of soft earth beneath her hooves was still new to her, the absolute lack of echo from her surroundings made her feel almost unbalanced, as if she existed in a world infinitely larger than the one she had come from. The air was different, possessing new scents and a changing temperature that made her feel on edge at times. But the first shock of this new life had calmed slightly, allowing her to get past the fact that this was indeed wholly alien to her, and to start to make actual sense of it.
She had already discovered that sweet food existed on the ground and sometimes higher up on branches, and water was always accompanied by a strange rushing, and sometimes an almost melodic sound. It was both cold and warm, fast flowing and calm. Yet unlike her past life, it was always at ground level, and often difficult to get to. Yet that too was just something she learnt and accepted as her new life. Pragmatic and calm she knew this was what her existence was now and she could not do anything to change that. So, she got on with it, continued to re-learn how to make her way through life.
Currently, she was walking along calmly, ears pricked forwards but at ease, bobbing slightly with the pace of her steps. Twin ribbon tails with their unusual and sometimes dangerous spades swayed behind her. She paused, sniffing the air as the breeze changed, intrigued by the new scent that had appeared to her. Yukishii was blind by choice and her eyes remained closed as she gathered her previously wandering attention and directed it forwards, towards the origin of the new scent.

Wandering along still Abolec spies what seems to be a purple and orange blur in the distance. Curious he heads towards it, not moving fast, in fact his pace hadn't changed at all, but now he had a definate destination. Musing to himself what or who the blur was, smiling a little at the thought of maybe making a friend finally.
Taking his time to get closer, seeing that it was indeed a who rather than a what. Turning his head to see them without the red tint, blue and yellow matching better than purple and orange. Picking up his pace just enough that he made more noise, not sure if they had seen him, but not wanting to startle them if they hadn't.

Now along with the scent there was a sound. Pausing mid-step the tall mare listened attentivly, waiting for who ever it was to draw closer she slowly sought to understand what the stranger was. Fairly quickly, from the sound of the hoofbeats, she knew it was one like her, and the scent, darker and more musky, was most certainly male.
Slender ears remained pricked forwards, twitching and trembling faintly with the level of concentration the blind mare employed. As the air grew heavy with the other's pressence, she bobbed her head slightly in greeting.
"Good day, Sir."

Abloec stopped a polite distance away, tilting his head seeing that her eyes were closed. "How did you do that?" looking embarassed at blurting that out, curious at how she had known he was a he if she hadn't looked. Wondering if she could see at all but remembering his manners enough to not ask such a question. "I'm Abloec, miss?..." Looking at her curiously, tilting his head to look over the red shades on his eyes, prefering the blue and yellow to the purple and orange they made him see.
Smiling at her, having noted that like him she was a little different from most of the others here. "Are you new here too? Thats if you don't mind me asking that..." Shifting on his feet a little hoping that she didn't find him rude.

Blind head shifted to one side slightly at the words. The voice matched her expectations, most deffinatly a stallion. Ears flickered at the question, a faint smile curling the mare's lips a brief moment. "Your scent.. " She replied easily, not at all bothered by the question or its abruptness.
"I am known as Yukishii.." She added in reply to his second, spaded tails weaved behind her slowly as she stood still, one foreleg bent in mid stride, the tip of her hoof resting upon the ground. She would not risk walking into the stranger, and so she stayed in her place, as he was too far away for her to tell exactly where he was, so either until he left, or moved closer, she would not proceed. Not that she was going anywhere specific.. so it didn;t really matter.
Graceful head dipped slightly at his last question, that faint half-smile returning. Expression polite if a little distant. "I am, I think I have been here... one quarter-season." It hadn't been that long since she had been left out here.. in the wilderness.. "Yourself?" She asked politely in return.

Abloec turns his head and sniffs his side, chuckleing a little, just a low rumble in his chest. "I need a bath more than I thought it seems." Smiling that she hadn't seemd offended, glad of that, not one to be rude when he engaged his brain.
"I think we have been here around the same time, though if I'm honest I've not paid much attention to how long its been." Sounding sheepish but her time frame sounding about right.
Looking at her pose, thinking that would get uncomfortable after a while. "Shall we walk to the tree line by the river, there is shade food and water there... I'd be happy to show you if you like?" Shifting from one foot to the other, not wanting to get too close and intrusive without her permission.
( Edit - Also I'll be gone for a week as of tonight so I'll not be able to reply till I get back on the 6th)
