Night's where rather quiet around here it seemed. Far from what Avalette was used to. Her nights where always filled with the playful grunts of young ones burning off extra energy before bed. Grownups and Elders passing stories around. Owl calling into the night. The wind blowing about the trees, sound like howls in the night. But his place, it was so silent, so still. Even the stars seemed to just sit still in the night sky. They didn't sparkle, didn't call to the heavens. Nothing. A soft sigh escaped her maw. She missed home. She missed her family. She missed sleeping in the warmth and comfort of a pack. But instead she was left out alone this night. She knew she was safe, but the fact that she was alone worried her a tad bit. "A lone helix is a dead helix." She whispered softly to herself. Repeating the saying her grandfather had always told her. On she feared all to much might be true. But then again her grandfather was rather always telling stories and talking crazy.

Cheveyo was wondering through what he claimed was he territory. He looked up at the moon, whispy clouds drifted infront of it. The moon had always attracted him and made him feel stronger. He caught the scent of another helix on a light breeze. His hackles instantly rose at her scent. He trotted over to her a slight growl escaping his maw "What are you doing here?" he asked pushily and glared at Avalette. Cheveyo puffed out his chest to make him look older than his adolescent body. "What is your name and business?" He asked after a slight pause

Her ears flew back at the sight of the male. He did not seem to happy. Not at all. Her breath caught in her throat. She whimpered slightly as her tail tugged beneath her body in a submissive move. "I...I'm sorry." She said softly whining a tad bit. "I was just resting for the night. You see, I'm new to the lands. And I don't belong to any packs. I just wanted to find a place to sleep for the night." She said softly looking down to her paws. "My name is Avalette." She spoke with out looking up to him. She feared she was in trouble. She was still learning these lands and didn't know much of anything yet. "Please forgive me." She whispered softly looking back up to the male.

Cheveyo looked at Avalette "Well Avalette, Seeing as it's almost middle night you can stay here for now but I expect you to be gone by the day's beginning and don't venture farther into my territory. I will be watching," Cheveyo said, "My Name is Cheveyo alert me if you need anything." He trotted away and lay down in front of a tree.

A soft whimper came about her as she laid her head back down. She was not aware that this land was claimed, and knew of no other place to go. Sleep would not come easy to the female during the late night for the fact of worry now filled her body. She glanced over to the male before looking back forward again. Her body shaking light with worry and fear.

Cheveyo grinned within himself at the thought of someone fearing him, even if just a little. The packs in the areas near here thought he was a nuisance. He rested his head on his paws before his head jerked up. HE caught the scent of another helix wandering... Not wandering, it was walking with a set purpose. ((Can I insert another werehelix? to make it more interesting.))

(By all means!)
The sent of yet another Helix pushed Avalette over the edge. She looked up the tree she was laying under and jumped up onto the lowest branch. She slowly started to climb the tree figuring this would at least give her some safety. But how much she was unsure.

((OK thanks^^)) Leah Clearwater trotted into view. She looked angry. The Beta walked right over to Cheveyo and stared straight into Cheveyo's eyes showing all of her authority as a beta. "This territory doesn't belong to you. You live here people pass through and life goes on. You cause anymore Trouble and I will personally drive you off," Leah growled.Cheveyo's ears and tail drooped when he saw Leah walk into the clearing. "Ok, Leah," He answered looking down at the ground and avoiding her eyes.

Avalette did not know what to do now. She did her best to keep from whimpering as her tail tugged under neath her body. She backed up slowly forgetting she was in a tree as gravity took its tool. Her body smashed to the grass floor below. Laying on her side. The sudden shock of the ground meeting her body put her in a daze state but it quickly wore off. She looked to the male and female wolf a whimper coming about her voice as she rolled onto her back trying to be submissive.

"Don't worry Avalette, he was just being a bully. He can't harm you." Leah smiled her. "Just don't show submission or fear to him. He's an adolescent Bully," Leah added looking up at Avalette. She turned her gazed to Cheveyo and growled at him menacingly. "This will be your last warning. You should have chosen a territory farther away from a Shape-shifter pack," She warned. Leah jumped when Avalette fell out of the tree " Are you ok?" She asked. Cheveyo nodded "I'll keep that in mind." He laughed a little when Avalette fell from the tree. She didn't seem hurt. "Hey she told you NOT to act submissive around me. You wouldn't want me getting a big head now," Cheveyo teased.
