His World by Zebrahead plays on the speakers and a roar of cheers came from the audience. Xavier Cross steps out onto the stage and executes one of his signature Mercenary taunt. He then makes his way down the ring interacting with the crowd along the way. He slides into the ring, stands up and walks over to a turnbuckle. He climbs up and looks out to the sea of audience and executes another signature Mercenary taunt. Xavier takes off his jacket and jumps down from the turnbuckle. He drops his jacket outside the ring then waits for his opponent.
(There's something wrong with my internet at home. I'll try my best to get on though.)

As Lemmy's growling vocals kicked through the speakers to signal his theme, Brody pushed open the door to the stands, TV title slung over his right shoulder. He looked around at the sea of people, many of them cheering for his appearance. He smiled, secured his title wth his right hand, and started down the stairs, interacting with the fans with his free hand.
And the Champion! From Zanesville Ohio, weighing in at 265 lbs., Brody Robinson!"
He stopped a tthe fan barracade and hopped up onto it. He walked along it until he was halfway past the crowd. He turned and removed the title from his shoulder. He looked at it for a moment before lifting it high over his head and letting a wave of cheers wash over him. He jumped from the barricade and handed his title of to a ringhand before sliding into the ring. He got to his feet and walked over to Xavier. He held out his hand adn waited for a shake.
"I saw the #1 contenders match. Hope your ready to bring those moves tonight."

Xavier shakes Brody's hand. "I'm always ready."
Xavier smirks then takes a step back so the ref could start the match. When the bell rings Xavier immediately tries for the usual lock up to start the match.

Brody accepted the lock-up and tried using some power to push Cross to the floor.

Xavier is overwhelmed by Brody's strength but tries to keeps his footing. Feeling that he didn't have enough power to push Brody back, Xavier drops backwards onto the mat trying to pull Brody down so he could kick Brody in the gut with both his feet.

Brody fell of to the side holding his gut after the feet drove into his stomach.

Xavier turns on his side to stand up. He takes a few steps over to Brody then attempts a knee drop to his gut.

Brody hadn't been hit nearly enough to stay still for something like that. He rolled out of the way, leaving nothing to cushion Cross than the mat.

Xavier bumps his knee on the mat but didn't hurt himself thanks to his knee pad and that he luckily didn't attempt to jump for the knee drop like he had original thought to do. Xavier stands back up figuring Brody will do the same so he waits for him to before Xavier will run at him for another lock up.

Brody did get to his feet, but when he saw Xavier coming at him he pulled his arm back and tried to give Cross a stiff right hand to the face.

By instinct Xavier raises his arm to cover up but running at Brody while he was swinging was still enough force to drop Xavier to the mat from the stiff shot.

Brody shook out his hand from the impact. He reached for Xavier's head and went to put him into a chinlock.
