Tezza needed a pet, no two ways about it. There were lots of animals that she could play with that wandered the circus grounds but they all belonged to someone and that someone was not her and it just wasn't fair. Ok so she had a kitty mommy and no one else did, but still she wanted a pet to cuddle with and take on hikes, one that wouldn't scare normal people too might be nice.
Finishing her cookie the tiny winged girl slid off the couch and went to find one of her mommy's, they would know how to get her a pet

Czhichi was presently kneeling on the floor by the couch, holding some special tool or another to Teisin's belly to check on the status of her pregnancy. The tiger was rather far along, and as such couldn't go traveling after Tezza as much, but she was still able to do a good bit with the girl.
The big cat let out a low purring noise as she spotted the child approaching, leaning over to see her better. Czhichi turned around at the noise and smiled. "Hello, Tezza dear."

Tezza smiled at Czhichi and moved closer " Hi, I finished my snack, Can I pet her belly?" Teisin was her strong kitty mommy but the girl still had to be gentle with her becuase she had babies inside her, and not cabbage babies like Tezza had been.
" Oh an I want a pet , please"

Czhichi nodded, reaching out her arms to take the girl into them and pull her closer so she could pet the tigress's belly. Teisin leaned a bit to lick Tezza's cheek as she passed before going back to contentedly lying there.
"Mm, what sort of pet?"

Tezza giggled but didn't wipe away the wetness left behind from the lick, it was a kitty kiss after all and you didn't wipe away kisses. Gently the purple haired girl rubbed the tigress's belly , pleased but how warm and strange it felt as the babies inside her got bigger and more obvious to the touch.
" Mmm dunno, maybe a bird?" To be honest Tezza hadn't put a whole lot of thought into what she wanted so much as that she wanted a pet.

Teisin purred a bit at that, content to let Tezza pet her belly.
"A bird might not be the best idea for a pet while living here." she replied gently. "We must try to find you something that would not be uncomfortable living in our home, particularly when the cubs arrive." While Teisin might be grown enough and able to be kept from eating a pet bird or harassing it, she was still a wild beast for the most part and her litter would be similar.

" Turtle?" Maybe, but they were slow, fish were pretty but needed water. Tezza looked up at Czhichi with frustration" dunno." The girl was independent and liked to make her own decisions but she wasn't sure what would be good to live here and have fun with.

"Mm, I am sure we can look around and find something that you like that can work. It'll just take a bit of searching." Czhichi assured her gently.
After a bit of thought, the woman came up with an idea. "How about we go take a look at the animal rescue center here at Cirque and see if anything was picked up that we could adopt for you?"

The larger kitty purred, moving to tickle the child with her whiskers a bit more and lick her face some.
"Not always, but sometimes. The rescue takes in critters off the streets that just need to be fed and cared for and given homes too. But it might be good for you to have something you have to take care of for a little bit. It might make you feel closer." Czhichi suggested.

Tezza looked thoughtful for a moment and sucked on her lower lip, hmm she supposed that was true " Kay, can we go now?" Excitement returned to the girl's voice as she thought about what kind of pet might be waiting for her and needing her to take care of it.

Czhichi laughed lightly and nodded. "All right, sweetiepie. Just check with your other mother first to let her know we're going and what we're going to do." she said softly, "Your Mommy and I have mentioned a few times thinking a pet might be good for you, so I don't think she'll mind."

Tezza nodded and toddled off to find her mother, it wasn't too hard becuase now she could hear the familiar ringing of the bells she wore as earrings. After getting the ok from her in the kitchen the little girl raced back to Czhichi. " she said okay but nothin pink" Tezza proclaimed, she wondered what her mother had against pink animals.

"All right then, sweetie. Then out we go." Czhichi cooed with a nod. Teisin leaned over to give each of the two a lick goodbye - Czhichi had to lean down to hug her companion - but soon enough the pair were off.
The vet showed her daughter into the rescue center, where many of the animals were being kept in kennels - not tight little cages but decently sized containment units so they didn't get into any trouble between feedings and exercise time and whatnot. On a nearby lab table, one of Czhichi's assistants had a litter of piglets she was in the process of giving shots to. The girl smiled and waved lightly at Czhi and Tezza as they entered.

Tezza waved back and grinned, the piglets looked cute but they weren't what she wanted, they made funny noises. That and they were pink and her mother had said no pink things. "Mmm do I want a baby something?" because then it would think she was it's mother and Tezza wasn't sure if she liked that idea or not.
