I don't want to be a Christian anymore. I still believe that God is there, He's just not there for me. Ever.
So yeah, I'm done.

So you think that God owes you something, and since you don't feel you're getting that, you're abandoning him; even though you still know he exists? Just want to make sure I've got it straight.

He always is and always will be there for you. He made you in His image and He gave His Son just for you. He loves you so great that it cannot be put into words. You know, a lot is going through my mind to say the right words, but let me post a lyrics to a song. This song was written is 1887, and I feel that the Lord wanted me to share this. This song gives a simple, clear explanation of living the Christian life. The title expression was used in a testimony meeting, following an evangelistic crusade in Brockton, Massachusetts, by Dwight L. Moody. A young man stood to speak, and it soon became clear he knew little Christian doctrine. But he finished by saying, “I’m not quite sure—but I’m going to trust, and I’m going to obey.” Daniel Towner, who was in the meeting, jotted down the words, and gave them to John Sammis, who developed the lyrics from them. Trust and Obey When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word, What a glory He sheds on our way! While we do His good will, He abides with us still, And with all who will trust and obey. Refrain Trust and obey, for there’s no other way To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey. Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies, But His smile quickly drives it away; Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear, Can abide while we trust and obey. Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share, But our toil He doth richly repay; Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross, But is blessed if we trust and obey. But we never can prove the delights of His love Until all on the altar we lay; For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows, Are for them who will trust and obey. Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet. Or we’ll walk by His side in the way. What He says we will do, where He sends we will go; Never fear, only trust and obey.

"Oh noes, God did not deliver me a bike for christmas!"
Seriously, is that what your faith is about, God bending his knee for your mortal bullshit?
Do you realize that people, for their faith, were literally grilled alive?
Did God come down to them and save them personally? I don't think so. Do you think he's going to help you keep your stupid girlfriend or keep your minimum wage job or whatever your problem is?
Hissy fits over what God doesn't go out of his way to do for you piss me off. It's just plain stupid to assume that God works for you- If He's not feeding the starving in Africa, why do you think he'll solve your petty pre-teen issues?

Kazydi I don't want to be a Christian anymore. I still believe that God is there, He's just not there for me. Ever.
So yeah, I'm done. Mary Stevenson, 1936 Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”
remember you are not alone, Just because you don't SEE/FEEL/HERE/SMELL/SENSE doesn't mean God is not there and is not helping. He loves you. He sent his son to die for you. HE died for you, since all three are the same. He gave the ultimate gift, do not blithely cast it aside simply because you don't think He is there. trust me, that way only lies misery and pain.

Well, God won't give you a hand-out. He wants a hand-up not a hand-out. It also depends on your relationship with God. Here's an example:
You have a friend that only talks to you when he wants something. You see him at school, and he might smile once in a while, but other than that, you don't see him at all. But on certain days, he'll come running up to you and say "Hey buddy! I need 10 bucks. Okay, thanks." After that, you hear nothing. A couple of days later, your "bud" comes back and says "Hey man! What's up? I'm going to need your car." And then you hear nothing for a couple of more weeks.
So, basically in that example, you examplify God. Do you think God is going to be your little slave, and poor out blessings on you, when you pay Him no attention? Of course not! You have to have full faith in the Lord and believe He can do miracles, and they will happen. God is not a liar, and He was the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. You can't just give up on God because He doesn't help you all the time. We go through trials to test our faith, and you can't just give up in the middle! What if Jesus had said "You know...I'm done with all these people who choose to ridicule me and beat me. I'm done." We wouldn't have a saviour, and we would be damned to Hell fire. Don't give up on God, He's there. He's not a feeling, a sound, or anything else. You have to have faith.

He said "I will never leave you or forsake you" sometimes the answer is no but that doent mean He isnt there
