The study of alien organisms, i.e. life from other planets. I'm quite fond of both; I actually suspect that Nessie is a living fossil, similar to the coelecanth; probably a plesiosaur or related creature that has survived in the deep lochs and interconnecting channels for millenia.

It is not just about the Loch Ness Monster and Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti (couldn't figure out which one you were talking about). Cryptozoology is the search for and study of animals whose existence or survival is disputed or unsubstantiated. Also,
Xenozoology and Cryptozoology have a lot in common, because many Cryptid's are belived to be aliens (Ex. Mothman, Rods). And werewolves, zombies, elfs, and vampires are in cryptozoology, too.
