Hey you guys, I went to my first metal concert! It was pretty awesome! I saw Kreator, Exodus, Belphegor, Epicurean, and Warbringer. Twas a very intense show and I even got into some of the pits! My highlight was knocking over a guy in the pit (it was by accident though) and getting Warbringer to sign my CD.

xd Excited much? Knocked someone over in the pit huh? Did you help pick him up? I pissed someone off in the pit the other day I think, because I got shoved hard enough that I almost ram-rodded my friend in the stomach with my head from across the pit. Basicallyhere's an illistartion: Luckily he caught me before I hit him or someone else.

I was so into I just knew I knocked him over. sweatdrop I did say sorry though. I tried to be as considerate as possible even though it was a thrash metal show.

Lol, thanks.
@Scorch: You dont apologize in a pit, you help them up and move on. You dont want anyone getting trampled or hurt.

Nice choice of a first concert. When I saw them a week they were nuts. The pit when Exodus played Toxic Waltz was so packed you couldn't have fallen if you wanted to. Great show. Did the crowd get into Epicurean when you saw them? Because NOBODY in Hollywood did.

Warrior of Metal Nice choice of a first concert. When I saw them a week they were nuts. The pit when Exodus played Toxic Waltz was so packed you couldn't have fallen if you wanted to. Great show. Did the crowd get into Epicurean when you saw them? Because NOBODY in Hollywood did. Yeah it was a nice choice I think. However, we got a little lost so we didn't get there on time. We saw their last song but it didn't seem like a lot of people were into Epicurean. With Toxic Waltz that pit was crazy! Also, did Warbringer's set end early. Cause with us, something was wrong with the drummer or something and they had to end their set. @ My Hollow- A lesson learned. I was still kinda new to the whole moshing thing and the atmosphere of a thrash metal show, so I guess I had to get used to it a bit. But I'll keep it in mind. I'd hate for anyone to get trampled. He fell into the crowd or whatever, but I guess I should have helped him. But, no need to feel remorse now, it's pretty much done. I have some picture but they were taken with my cell phone and it has neither a USB cable nor really good pictures, so yeah that kinda sucks.

I've seen people tampled before, and I now what its like to do down. I push shoved to the ground, recently, and one helped me up. It's always scary when your on the ground in a pit. I attempted to jump up twice, finally I suceeded, but I thought I was going to get stpped on. Not fun.

I almost fell myself but since I'm so graceful I managed to somehow save myself. It is pretty scary, especially since I didn't really know what to expect. But I see where you're coming from.

It's a pit.....there's not a whole lot to expect. You judge how rough it is and hop in during an opening.

Well yeah, I figured that much out once I jumped in there. @ Rotting Gnarl- Don't worry, I'm sure you'll go to one someday. Maybe it'll be more epic than the one I went to! 3nodding
