GUST needs to give their male characters some love.
Don't get me wrong, I think the females are awesome. ^^ Marie, Elie, Pamela, Viorate, Luca, etc. They're all really cool.
But I want to see some of their fabulous guys in the crossover games (have you noticed that almost all the crossover characters are girls?)
Agree or disagree? Also, who's your favorite male character?

I'll have to agree~ Although I'd like that they'd develop the guy characterizations more. =| Some are pretty good, but some are kind of.. flat or somewhat shallow (and thus kind of boring?).
I'm not really sure who is my favorite character from the GUST series... mainly with the point mentioned above. I don't really have any dislike towards guy protagonists and NPCs though (exception would be some villains haha.. notably in Ar tonelico).

Hmm. . . my favorite male characters would probably be Delsus from Eternal Mana, Jack from Melody of Elemia, Roxis from Alchemist of Al-revis, and Flash Bang Poe from Azoth of Destiny. And I think that the crossover games should focus more on supporting and side characters then leading role characters, regardless of gender. Take point, Pamela Ibis would be considered as both a side character as well as supporting, but I think it might also be cool to play as Yuveria, Noella Martyr, or maybe Hagel for a change.

Playing as side characters would be fun as well~ though the protagonists chosen is mostly due to recognition of a character from previous titles (or appearances) and often gives a impulsive buyer to follow it. XD

My favorite male character? It would have to be Yun, from Mana Khemia 2. But I don't know, do Mana even have genders?

Yep, all of the Mana are a certain gender, though it is not always clear in some circumstances. I feel that Gust is a lot better with Mana then Square-Enix is with the Mana series. Most of the Mana in the Atelier series are rather cool looking.
