- 5/16/2009 - There has been a cleanup in Squad Seven. Some threads have been moved to the Grand Library. If for some reason you still need anything off of those threads, they are still accessible in the Grand Library Subforum.

Seating Contest starts today!!!!!
Rules for the Seating Contest:
((Secret Rules in White))
-Your Intro is to be counted as a part of the contest
No Shikai (For those who have it)
-I can end the match at any time
No Killing
-You are competing not only against the people who you are paired, but everybody in your round.
No Shunpo (For those who have it)
-Even if Thanatos, the VC loses in his match, he is still VC at the end of the Tournament
Thanatos is automatically Counted into Round 2
You are forbidden to speak about the Secret Rules
Matches will be posted by tonight. If you do not post by Wednesday (the 29th), You become "Unseated".

Just noticed that a lot of the previous dates say 2006 when they should say 2009...
As many of you have seen, Thanatos resigned from his position as Vice-Captain. By my awesome Authoritah in this squad, I have put him in the position of "Earth Commander" for Squad 7. That means that he will watch over you when you go to Earth, which is what I'm going to start to do - send you to Earth occasionally.
Secondly, due to Thanatos' resignation, I am having an INVITE ONLY contest for the new position of Vice-Captain in this Squad.
The list of invitees will be up by Wednesday.
That is all...
Oh, and as an afterthought, if any Squad Member has a cool idea for a hangout in this squad, feel free to post it (Provided it is a place for ALL Shinigami to hang out)
That is REALLY all.
Wait... It's not...
The Squad's name has been changed back to the "7th Squad (Hand to Hand Combat)"

Few things to address!
I would like to welcome all of the new members to the Squad!
Barracks will be posted shortly
Martial Arts Requests will be dealt with in the next week or so, so keep your eyes open!
And if for some reason I do not make an announcement in the coming weeks, Happy Hanukkah/Christmas/Kwanzaa/Festivus/New Year/etc.!Squad 7 Captain

We are having a Seating Contest over the Holiday Break. The format of this contest is to be announced Wednesday.
Along with the Seating Contest, Mass Martial Arts Training will begin Wednesday. Be ready for that!

The deadline for Martial Arts Teaching has been closed for quite some time, so the following people are permitted to title a new thread in Squad Seven titled with their RPC name and the style that they are learning:
Foust7 - Taekwondo
CrimsonCatFury - Changquan
Mriouni - Kenpo
Mastur Sage - Drunken Fist
KidMental - Wing Chun
ImKotsu - Fu Jow Pai
Lord Sadon - Taekwondo
Der Fluch des Pharao - Kenpo
Khaost Kasen - Vovinam
If you aren't on this list, it doesn't mean that you can't learn a Martial Arts style. It just means that you will have to wait until my system is put into place.
ONTO DIRECTIONS:
Including the intro post, make 10, 10 Sentence posts that demonstrate your core understanding of the style you are learning (I WILL COUNT). It includes basic stances and forms along with practice strikes on NPCs.
I will review your posts once you edit the title of your thread to "Your Name - Fighting Syle [DONE]"
I won't know if you think you are done otherwise.

Anyway! Your Seating Contest is in a Submission Format!
I'm going to give you a Post (below) to reply to as if it were any other post within the Sereitei. Please be REALISTIC, or as realistic as you can be in a Bleach Guild.
You are to PM your replies to me by 12:00 AM (EST), JANUARY 5TH, 2010.
Any questions must be submitted by Noon tomorrow.
