My buddy. :'D One of my friends only read two pages of Twilight and said it sucks. I didn't even read it and know it sucks. The worst book I read was something I had to read in English. Can't remember what though.

Nothing But the Truth was a dumb book. I read it in 8th grade. It had no meaning.

My older sister was obsessed with Twilight and always tried to make me read it. I tried and didn't make it farther than the first chapter. And then my younger sister got the book and I finished it in 45 minutes. I've only read the first two, they're really really bad. Hmm, I remember reading A Wrinkle in Time in like 6th grade and thinking the author had to be on drugs when it was written, that s**t was weird. I finally read it again and liked it though. I'd have to say the Twilight series because they were so easy to read. The Pokemon novels for kids had larger and more complicated words in them. :>

Ah, Twilight. xD After I read the first three books it got old very fast. I've come to the conclusion that everything about it is based upon an older woman's teenage fantasies. I can't believe someone actually let her to publish it.
Other than that, I'm not a big fan of Karen Miller's sci-fi/fantasy novels. Then there was this one series that was absolutely terrible. No wonder the author had to self publish.

Pikazoid Just asking what's the worst book that you've ever read. I personally thought ALL Twilight books is the worst books I've ever read. >:I i second this motion! and i never read the books people who are fans kinda get really angry though when u dis the book in front of them (well, i said something about the book in an offhand way, basiclally i misplaced it into a different genre, and this girl who was a fan of the book looked like she was gonna kill me O_O) also, i had to read nothing but the truth in eighth grade too, and it was terrible p.s. most teenage romance novels serve as useful firewood in my opinion xd

Yeah, I've had some Twilight fans get pissed at me. Since I'm not a fan of the series and then I LOL'd when I saw the book with the movie cover, I was like, "OMG IT'S CEDWARD" because he was Cedric in Harry Potter. So I piss them off by refusing to call him Edward and keep saying that he should use Legilimency on Bella and read her mind that way. "WTF He's not a Wizard, he's a Vampire, plus he loves her and would never disrespect her like that." is what they say. :> Cedward the Wampizard. [LOL IT LOOKS LIKE CHARIZARD.]

I don't like the Twilight saga either. My parents got the first book for me as a Christmas present in 2007 and when I read it all I could think of was how people could be so into it. I don't get it, Bella is so... unoriginal. I tried to read the second book but couldn't get past the first chapter lol. I have a friend who is a HUGE fan and she managed to make me want to read the first book. redface
I went to see the movie with my other friend because we had to see how horrible it would be. We lolled through the whole movie (quietly though so we didn't bother anyone else!) and couldn't take it seriously. After the movie we were talking about it and wondering which one was worse, the book or the movie, and all the twitards around us turned to glare at us. It was then when I noticed my English teacher was among them lol. sweatdrop

I've watched part of the movie and I didn't think it was too bad. I've never really read the books though, so I couldn't really compare it to the book.

Buffy vs. Edward. I died and peed myself laughing at the same time. That's what *I* want to see happen to Edward Cullen. My un-favorite books were The Picture of Dorian Grey and Anna Karenina. The only two books I hated enough to stop reading. I fudged the quizzes.

My grandmother made me read the Boxcar Children books. We have a bunch on a bookshelf in the family room. She also tried to get me to read the Narnia books and I wouldn't. For me, I didn't like the Twilight books but the movie was fine because of the attractive vampires. With that, I can ignore the fact that the books were crap and the acting wasn't exactly impressive. When a book sucks but I like some of the characters, I'll just read fanfiction instead. That's what I did when I was disappointed with the last few Harry Potter books. I stuck with Fanfiction.
