 Mizuko was resting beside the cove near the beach. It was a normal sight to find her there, but when others came she would normally disappear since she never really socialized too much. However, she wasn't a rude moonlit. She would try to make conversation, but she would appear deep sometimes. The blue moonlit sighed a bit as a breeze blew her long hair showing her fin like ears. Mizuko was happy that she could live out of water, but she despised those who would mock her.

 Poseidon was taking a walk down on the beach. He was enjoying the water washing up against his paws. He didn't come down here often anymore. He shook his head at that thought and made a vow to come here at least once a week. He was glancing around when he spotted someone near the cove up ahead. He paused as he studied the new moonlit and tilted his head. It was a female who was very blue.... and her ears..... they were fins! He shook his head at that was continued on his way which was towards her.

Mizuko could sense some vibrations through her ears as they coiled up then relaxed. That was about all they were useful for, although she could hear through them. They just worked a bit differently then normal ears would. She then opened up her pupiless eyes before sniffing the air to see who it was. It definitely wasn't a wolf she recognized so she turned her head towards him. She looked at him up and down. He was a white moonlit with blue ocean markings on him. Did he live around here too? There were many questions she wondered.

Poseidon looked at the female for a moment before clearing his throat. He took a couple last steps and was soon within a couple of feet of her. "Hello." He said, "Who may you be? I'm Poseidon." He sat down and looked at her. He could see her much better now. She not only had those fin ears but had hair and strange scale-like things on her head. Her eyes, though, were the strangest; they were pure white with no pupil.

Mizuko blinked a bit. He definitely didn't seem to be the rude type. She decided to trust him. "My name is Mizuko." She paused for a second as she looked at him some more. The moonlit sighed in relief. "Well it's nice to meet you Poseidon. What brings you out here towards the beach?"

"Hello Mizuko. It's nice to meet you." Poseidon said nodding his head in a bow, "To calm down and be a peace." The beach always calmed him down.... not that he was mad or anything! "It's very relaxing here and so peaceful. Plus I haven't been down here in a long time." He said to explain, "What about you? Why are you here?"

Mizuko lightly bowed her head. "I can understand that..." She paused for a second before turning her head back towards the beach. "The beach can be nice and calm, however it can have its moments of anger. I guess that's what makes it so unique being able to exist in two ways." Mizuko turned her head back. "Well I hangout around any body of water pretty often. It's part of my job. I just make sure no one litters or pollutes the water." She blinked. "It's one of my pet peeves. There aren't many, but there two more."

Poseidon stared at Mizuko in shock for a moment before laughing. She understood! How great was that! "Sorry about laughing but yes that is true. I know that very well." He said shaking his head, "Others say I'm like the sea god I'm named after, moody. I can go from being nice and happy to being angry in a flash." He nodded at the rest of what she said. "It bothers me when other disrespect water like that. Water is the thing keeping us alive. They should have a great respect for it."

Mizuko watched how he responded. "I see...well I guess I will have to watch for that." She shook her head before showing a smile. "Yeah I can agree with you on that although the main cause of it is others thinking that the water will simply get rid of their waste such as factories dumping in here." She got up finally. "Plus my sister lives in the water and she gets sick when that happens."

Poseidon shook his head. "I'll try to stay the way I am now." He said sighing, "I've scared off a lot of moonlits before." He looked at Mizuko with questioning eyes when she mentioned a sister. "Your sister lives in the water?" He asked, "Why is that?"

Mizuko cocked her head to the side. "Are there certain things that trigger it?" She sighed for a second. "My sister has only two paws and a huge fish tail. Other then that she has my ears, but normal hair and regular eyes." She looked at him again wondering why she hadn't seen him that much around the area before.

"Yes. They would be called Eros and Scruffy. They drive me nuts!" Poseidon said getting worked up just thinking about them. He took a couple of deep breaths and sighed. "Sorry about that but those two..... They never leave me alone." He said tilting his head, "Your sister has a fish tail? Like a mermaid? ..... That certainly is different."

Mizuko squinted her eyes a bit confused, but nonetheless remained calm. "I see...and you like being alone?" She looked back out at the sea. "I wouldn't blame you...I'm used to it to." She stretched her front paws. "Yes you could say that is what she is." She paused for a second. "Although she tends to have low self esteem with shyness. She's really a nice moonlit once you get to know her."

"I like being alone but I don't mind company as long as it's not those two." Poseidon answered, "You're used to it? Are there moonlits in your pack that drive you nuts too?" He scratched an ear lazily before nodding. "Huh. A mermoonlit. I think I can see why she has low self esteem. Other probably pick on her. Not a nice thing to do."

Mizuko lowered her head unto her front paws. "I see...Well there are some that can drive me nuts. I will say that." She paused for a second. "Milo and the squirrel Sassy probably do the most of it since they're extremely hyper 24/7." She nodded her head. "Yep...that's sort of the reason although if someone were caged to living in bodies of water the rest of their life then I'm pretty sure they would be lonely and think they're not good enough to be normal."
