Kipofu was out 'exploring' the lands so to speak. He was getting the feel of the ground, the certain scents of the surrounding areas before he would move onto newer ground. He hadn't been in the lands that long, but already he was beginning to know the land better. Every step was something new, a new journey if you will. He never knew if there was a hole, or uneven dirt to cause a fall in the black void before him.

Today, Kip thought, would be the day to try and find a few members of the pride. He wanted to know more about the lands he now lived in.

Skan's adventures in the land were getting....well, boring. He had pretty much pushed his boundaries with his mother, and knew where he could go and couldn't go. Ugh! He couldn't wait until he was older, and able to do what he wanted, and go where he wanted. He stuck hi lower lip out as he stomped his paws, deciding to go cook himself in the sun out of boredom. Maybe he'd attract some kind of vulture and get some cool story out of it.

On his way there, he saw a recognizable face. He couldn't really remember the name, but his dad had brought him home one night. Skan didn't really pay attention to adults, since most of them were stiff and boooooring. Today, he was so bored he'd go see just what his story was.

With his rump in the air, he trotted over to the stranger, quite proud of himself.

There was a saying, once someone lost one sense their others would become stronger. In Kipofu’s case, this was somewhat true, as he caught the sound of the rustling in the grasses. His ears flickered, zoning in on the creator of the noise before he actually turned his whole body towards it.

“Hello,” he called out, listening to the sounds of the earth. By the sounds of the others movements, he could tell that it was a smaller form. The ‘thump’ sound that a paw made when hitting the ground was very distinct from a cub to an adult. Kip just couldn’t figure out if the one approaching was a cub or one slightly older. Perhaps this was one of Tawa’di’s family he had met a before.

As the small rustling came closer, the blank eyes focused on the surrounding area. He had a good feeling the other was right there.

Galloping towards the stranger, a flicker of recognition passed through his brain. Oh! A little more determined now, he made his way over to the adult, hoping that he was right. Skan liked to be right.

"Hey hey!" he said in a hyper voice. "I think....I think I know you." How could he not tell when they were further apart? Hmph, at least Sahale wasn't here. He didn't want to make a game out of everything, but with his darker-coated brother around, everything always seemed to turn into a competition...

"I've seen you with my dad before!" he said in a bright voice. "Tawa'di. Yeeeah. I think I have!"
