BREEDING PERMISSIONS THREAD You do not need to post for permission for breedings between two waywards you have full breeding rights to.Due to some misunderstandings surrounding permissions, we thought it would be best to start an official thread. Any breedings from this date on, May 17th, 2009, will need permission by both owners posted in this thread. There will be no exceptions. This is not retroactive, and therefore does not apply to breedings commissioned before this date.
Any breedings commissioned without permission posted by both owners will be treated as a serious offence. You will receive one warning. If it happens again, you will be grey listed.
To post a breeding, one owner must first post the pairing, specifying what sort of breeding it is (permanent or temporary). The second owner must then come and quote the first owner's post, agreeing that they have given permission for this breeding. If only one owner posts permission, the breeding will not be allowed.
For example, Owner A would like to breed Pet A with Owner B's Pet B. Owner A posts the appropriate form in this thread. [b]Permanent or Temporary (if temp please specify):[/b] - Temporary permission is usually given when permission is granted for a single event (breeding slots), or a one time breeding (such as a bribe, and the like). Temporary permission only lasts for that event. When choosing temporary, you need to specify the conditions of the permission, such as the length and what its for. Examples include for a colourist's breeding slots, for a bribe, or say, until they have their first breeding. Once the conditions have been met (the breeding has happened, or the slots are over) permission is revoked and must be posted again if its to be continued afterwards.
- Permanent permission is, well, more permanent. Choose this if you would like your pairing to be able to breed at any time, for any reason. Couples in this category are usually lifemates. Either owner can enter their couples in this pairing into any breeding slot/bribe, at any time.
- Permission can be revoked by either owner at any time. If you entered one of your pets into a permanent slot (or even a longer temporary one) and no longer want that breeding to go through, just quote your original permissions post stating that you no longer give permission. Permission to that breeding will immediately be revoked (this does not count if the breeding was already commissioned and not yet completed) and new permission would need to be given, from both owners, if the pairing were to breed again.Example Owner B Owner B Owner A wahmbulance Breeding permission!Couple: Pet A (Owner A) x Pet B (Owner B) Permanent or Temporary (if temp please specify): Temporary, for Colourist's breeding raffle Agreed! Colourists; Please make sure that permission has been posted when accepting a breeding, especially if its a bribe. Bribes can be tricky, as oftentimes, only one owner contacts you about it. Use CTRL+F to look through the lists. :3 Thank you!
