Has anyone here gotten their bell cut on their horn? If you have did you hear any difference when you played after? Cause my bell on my horn is getting cut and I'm kind of nervous. However, your bell does make a really funny hat for goofy band pictures

Are you getting it done like a removable/screw off bell? If so; It doesn't affect sound or tone quality whatsoever, unless the screw doesnt screw in all the way, then youl have a sort of rattling sound...lol

I guess the thing I'm nervous about is I don't have anything to compare the sound to because its an ancient horn
