Wei
It was a first, traveling out to the border. So far, Wei had only ever stayed near the lake on the inner rim of her lands. The scenery was so different, but it was nice, all the same.
Walking slowly through the tall grass, a cool breeze ruffled her fur, and she giggled a little. She was completely content; a feeling she had not felt in quite some time. It was also strange, because she normally only felt really happy in the presence of others.

Raha'Kismat
Dark blue hues narrowed on his target as the large whaite-furred young lion practically crawled along the ground after her.
He had only barely caught sight of the female as he wandered this new unknown land, and was quick to move down-wind and begin his stalking. His long, pink tail twitched out behind him in anticipation, and he could force himself to wait no longer as he finally shifted his form to charge forward through the grass.
He moved his large frame quickly, unmindful of the noise he was making as he dove at the female, a loud roar escaping his throat.

Wei held a look similar to a surprised deer when an unexpected sound echoed through her ears. She had thought that she was completely alone. Company sounded nice, though, right? She only hoped that it was something friendly......
Whirling around, it wasn't hard to spot what had made the sound. It was bright and pink, but had an alluring look to it -- it was hard for her to look away. She ran her paw through the grass anxiously, and as the other lion drew close, she let out a strange sound, not sure of what to say.

Friendly didn't seem to describe him when he got close enough, as he was quick to pounce, tackling the girl down into the grass. Any creature would have to be insane not to worry when they saw that flying through the air at them! He was massave, and dangerous and... purring.
Raha happily lay atop his new friend, letting out a deep, rumbling purr as he lifted up his head to take a closer look at her face now that he had her pinned. She seemed young, maybe around his age, perhaps a slight bit younger, as he seemed to age well.
Grinning widely at the girl, and ignoring all sense of personal boundries... well he was already laying on top of her... he leaned down to lick her cheek in greeting. " 'ullo there, miss! Nice weather, ya? "

Upon first impact, Wei held the impression that the boy was just being mean, out to pick on girls. It sure seemed that way, at least, as she tumbled to the ground.
But the purring?
It just didn't fit with bullying, and it was somewhat cute, and made Wei smile a bit. Although she wasn't overly happy that she had a massive lion on top of her, but hey? It's not like he was eating her or anything, right?
"Eep!" Wei let out a quiet squeak and closed her eyes as she felt a tongue lap her fur, more than a bit surprised by the gesture. He mind seemed to be in a haze -- what on earth had just happened?
"Uh......." her silence was awkward, and she fumbled for words to say. "I.....I guess?"

The awkward situation didn't seem to reach his mind in the least as he smiled at her reply, giving a quick nod of his head. It really was a nice day. Shifting, he lifted himself off the female so she could get up, dropping himself to sit beside where she lay.
She could hear a heavy 'thunk thunk thunk' from behind him, and if she tilted her head just a bit she could see that long tail of his wagging, in a rather dog-like manner, hitting the ground every few seconds.
It was a bit of a habit the strange young lion had picked up, and it was about the only way he could sit still for a long period. He just had too much energy to handle at times.
" What's your name? " He asked the other curiously as he watched her, head tilting lightly. " I'm called Raha. "

He really was a tad strange. But Wei liked it, nonetheless. He was happy, and that's what mattered, right? "Raha?" she repeated as she eyed his tail and smiled. His name sounded nice as she said it. "I'm Wei." she flicked her green eyes downwards, staring at her paws.
Introductions always seemed so wierd to her; she figured it was the awkward first conversation, before the two parties started talking about something else, and got to know each other better.
"I've.....never seen you around here before." she stuttured a bit, nervous at first encounters.

"Wei... That's a pretty name. " He said, smiling widely to the female. He hummed out at her comment, sliding down to settle on his stomach in front of the girl. " Well. I've never been here before. I travel all over the world. Never in the same place for more than a few days. " He explained to her as he rolled over onto his back, enjoying the soft grass underneith him.
" This area isn't so bad, though. The grass is soft, and smells nice and fresh. " He chuckled, obviously enjoying himself, and feeling none of that 'first encounter awkwardness'. He was naturally comfortable around anyone. It didn't matter how long he knew them... Or even if he knew them at all.

"You don't?" After blushing at the complement, Wei looked a tad concerned. "It must get lonely to not stay in the same place." she lowered herself, leaning on her front paws as they lay squished beneath her. Her eyes were fixated on his face; such a pretty boy. She shook her head to try to refocus on what he was saying.
"Mm, this is my home." she inhaled deeply, taking in the air that she loved so dearly. "It's so nice to stay in one place; you get to really know others." she flicked her tail from side to side, debating whether she wanted to ask him to stay for awhile.

" Hmmm. It's just how I've always lived, I suppose. I'm used to it. I've been traveling since my earliest memory when I was just a little cub. " He looked thoughtful a moment, but it was quick to fade, his smile returning as he peered up to her upside down with his wide blue eyes.
" If I didn't wander around so much... I wouldn't have met so many people. And I wouldn't have met you. So it cant be that bad, can it? I may have only known them days but I've met a lot of friends! " Resting his paws on his chest, he left himself relax and get more comfortable, eyes shifting up to peer at the sky. " I don't have anything against staying in one place though, really. I've just never had any reason to. "

"Well, I suppose it's not that bad, then." She giggled, looking down at him. His eyes really were quite striking. Feeling her face turn red, she quickly shook her head away, looking out towards the lake. "I guess it just depends on how you were raised." She smiled slightly, thinking of why she even bothered staying here. She had never known her siblings past the point of acquintances, and her mother had left when she was a cub. Her father had never been around, and looking back at it all, she could've been like Raha, wandering around, making lots of friends. It seemed appealing.
"Maybe you can take me with you one of these days. I'd really like to get out and see something new." She flicked her green eyes down at him, for once acting on an impulse. "Besides, there's nothing too amazing here." She looked around, letting out a quick rush of air, somewhat amused at the condition of her dear pride.

The grin on his maw widened quickly at those words, eyes lighting up with childish delight as he looked to her once more. The though of a traveling companion quite obviously appealed to him. It would be much more fun to explore their world with some constant company... A friend he wouldn't have to leave after only a few days.
" Of course! I'd be happy to bring you with me! " He said excitedly as he threw his weight to flip himself back over to lay on his stomach. Once he was righted, he shifted back up into her personal space, their noses practically touching. " But why wait for 'one of these days'? You either want to travel, or you don't. If you keep telling yourself you'd like to do it eventually, you'll be stuck here forever, Wei. "

Wei was delighted to hear him say that. The thought of adventure and something new made her mind flutter away with thoughts of what was beyond the looming cliffs.
"Y-you mean....today?" Her eyes got a little wider. Flicking her tail, she took only a moment to consider it. "O-o-of course! Why not leave while the desire's fresh?" Her heart pounded, but she was going with it. A smile lit up her face, and she pressed her nose against his. "This is really exciting, you know?" She wasn't thinking about anything else- no one would miss her in her pride, and she had no future here. Besides, she quite liked Raha, and as long as she was with him out in the big world, nothing really scared her.

He was more than happy to reach out at her agreement, sitting himself up on his hind-legs to pull her into a hug against his larger, fluffy body. He hadn't quite expected his new friend to agree to leaving with him so suddenly and his excitement his new levels. " Oh! I'll take you to so many interesting places! " He laughed out happily as he lost his balance, falling back with the female still trapped in his arms, letting her sprawl across him as he lay on his back, grinning widely up at her.
" You wont regret it! We'll have so much fun finding new places and eventually, if we find a place we really like, we could always just stay there, right? " That had always been his reasoning. If he ever found a place he thought could be 'home', he'd stay. Simple as that.

Smiling, Wei couldn't help but get caught up in the excitement. Sure, she might miss this place later, or feel bad for leaving without notice, but she didn't want to have any regrets, not at this age, not while she was still young.
She felt the air being sucked out of her as his large paws wrapped around her. Her green eyes were wide, and she felt quite awkward, having never hugged anyone. "I'm sure you will." She laughed, already taking on new experiences in the short time she'd been with this lion. But new friends meant new things, right?
Looking down at Raha, Wei felt around for someplace to put her paws, settling on resting them on his chest. "Stay? You'd really be up for staying somewhere with me?" She had to admit, it was nice that he wouldn't just abandon her somewhere, and it made her happy to hear that he'd eventually settle somewhere, a lifestyle she had always known.
