That had been some adventure. He had wanted to stay with the ponies who had helped them, but the redhead was hesitant, and given how badly wounded the other was, a hesitation could have been fatal. So he had removed himself. Perhaps he would find them again one day. He hoped she was well. So he had wandered. HE was still trying to figure out what would fit him now that his old home... well he learned his lesson. Never again would he try to draw in that much water. He would leave clay pipes to the plumbers. It had been such a nice area... before he flooded it to swamp. Ah well. Tired of walking, he found an area where the soil was that nice rich red. He didn't know quite where he was, not Dream valley, not nightmare valley. Perhaps somewhere between? That seemed likely. He sank down happily into the silty mud and set his front hooves in. The, eyes half closed, he began to sculpt.

Wondering alone and in the sun for the first time in forever (because when you were trying to tail 6 little night walkers, especially when 2 of them were bent on destroying anything in their path, there wasn't a lot of time for sleep in the typical hours) Lucifer found himself bored. There just wasn't much call for him after the girls (at least most of them) had settled down happily. Obviously they wouldn't let him baby sit their new baby night walkers, not after what they'd managed to pull on him when they were young. And there wasn't enough going on in the man-cave to really keep him entertained. "So what's a guy like me gonna do..." he muttered right before he stepped into something...wet. "Ew!"

"Gyah!" he cried out startled. "whoa, careful. That's his...." he looked at the lump of wet clay under the hoof of the other pony, "was his head." He sighed and shook his own head. "Sorry, need me to get the clay off your hoof?" he asked softly. No that he was over his outburst, his shyness was threatening to assert itself. Gotta love the irony, the only assertive thing about him seemed to be his shyness.

"Oh, woah, sorry!" Lucifer stumbled back. "I didn't see...him...there..." Lucifer frowned. "It's-uh, clay..."

"Yeah. A... a statue... of that pony from last night," he shuddered the smallest bit. He was terrifying, but if you make a statue of something, or some one, you learn more about them and they become less scary."

Lucifer blinked, "What pony from last night?"

"Dark kirin with wings and a broken horn," he said softly. "He almost killed one of the ponies who saved me. Next time we see him,.... I want to be able to save them."

"Oh..." Lucifer said flatly. "More evil ponys, great. Just what this world needs...Uncle Greg's going to flip..."

He nodded, "Yeah, my uncle. Well, my Aunt's mate so that makes him my uncle. He likes to know everything that's going on around here 'cause he's always worrying about everything..."

He thought about that. "well.... if it helps, there were a lot of heros there too."

Lucifer snorted, "Well no kidding. And a few are tolerable, you know, the ones who aren't all hooked up on themselves being all great and mighty. The best heroes are the ones that don't have to come out and SAY their a hero, nope, the best ones are the ones that simply are. Let actions speak louder than any words ever could."

"Oh, only one of them said they were all heros. The ones that saved me hardly spoke at all. They were fun to watch though... It was fascinating."

"Fascinating?" he echoed arching an eyebrow. "I don't know if fascinating is the word I'd use for it..." He frowned in memory, "Thinking back, long ago I went on one of those crazy adventures, Uncle Greg was right on my tail of course, and I was following that girl..." he shook his head trying to focus. "Anyways, I just remember a lot of yelling and screaming and dodging...not exactly what I would call pleasant."

"Well the two of them were not yelling. Dodging some, yeah. But not yelling. They seemed... like they spoke more to each other with their eyes. and.. well there was one message...I think...I think they were very much in love. It was interesting to watch. I had never seen anyone in love before."
