The 9th's barracks is located just outside the inner wall in the Seretei. It is a large building that blends in with the rest, on the outside. The inside on the other hand is a different story. Once inside the barracks looks like one big spiraling ramp going up to the ceiling. Going around the wall side of this ramp are rooms. The first spiral contains monitoring rooms, this means large computers and screens on which all hollow presence and shinigami presence in the world of the living are. The second spiral contains a lounge, a physical training facility, and a tactical room. The third spiral contains the living quarters for all of the unranked members of the 9th. The fourth spiral contains the living quarters for the ranked officers. The Spiral comes to a peak on the top floor which only contains two rooms, the Captain's office, and the Captain's living quarters.
The decor of the place is mainly black, sleek, tech.
There is never a time there aren't people in the monitoring rooms. Alarms are set up all over the barracks to alert the 9th of hollow attacks in the world of the living, to alert them of needed memory replacement, and possible security breaches.
The tactical room is only accessible by ranked officers. It consists of a large holographic table, which holds information on all of the shinigami inside and outside of the seretei, all known threats, and other information.
