Story

Welcome to a world ruled by insanity, where humanity’s darkest hours are finally approaching and the world is steadying itself for the brink of annihilation.

A single man, a madman, known as Mr Sinister, has become aware of the impending doom of the universe, and has taken it upon himself to rectify the situation that has been created by his master, Apocalypse.

Creating and amassing a team of misfits each with a unique gift. Each one to play a pivotal role in the survival of the world. From telepaths and shape shifters to elementals and teleporters. Each mutant is a piece in the puzzle, their histories and actions will change the way the future is set. And with a little hope, and a lot of luck, maybe they will become the saviours of the universe.



The school is in anchorage. Its the beginnings of spring so where the sky is cloudless and blue it is still very cold. The school is where the RP begins It will not stay there. We will be going on a quest of sorts to collect peices of an ancient prophecy. As a result this is not a highschool RP.

Please find this letter of acceptance to my rather prestigious school. Only the elite are considered required here and you will be glad to know that you have been counted amongst those chosen few.
Whether you know it or not a potential has been seen in you that few humans on this earth possess and so I humbly ask you to consider this unconditional offer.
All students get free room and board as well as grants towards expenses. You are the future of our planet and as such great things will be expected of you, and in return great things shall befall you should you decide to accept this offer.

realistic and in the long run is more interesting to play.

Powers(active): She can turn into electricity, allowing her to pass through sockets and travel through cables. She can jump into computers and hack from inside and view peoples files.Control machinery. She has only experienced it a couple of times, and has been terrified cause she doesnt know whats going on. she got lost in the world wide web for a couple of hours once. But found her way back home eventually. She doesnt know how to turn the power on or off, but it seems to happen when shes got high emotions running through her.

Weakness: When shes inside a machine, if that machine gets damaged that damage transfers over to her real body, so if she was inside a vehicle and the tire blew out, she would find when she returned to being human that her hand or foot would be injured.
When she is in machines her natural energy becomes depleted she can charge up by syphoning electricity from power sockets but this foreign energy puts her in an almost drunken state

Appearance: She likes to wear dark clothing, almost gothic, but without the black makeup. She used to enjoy wearing bangles and necklaces, but most of
the metal ones bent out of shape due to the static electricity she ommits. She used to wear bright clothes and jeans but her mood has progressively gotten darker as her powers have grown stronger. She is Pretty for her age, although she tends to wear bigger clothes to hide her figure. Her red hair is long enough to fall infront of her green eyes and she has elvish ears. Her skin is very pale. She rarely smiles.



Background: Glitch has lead a loveless yet normal life up until receiving a letter of acceptence to Sinisers school. Glitch has told noone about her powers. Although with the recognisation of her power shes become really interested in machinery, finding it easy to diagnois computer problems or equipement failure. Its like machines have a voice. She was the only girl in her previous school to receive top marks in workshop class
Her father is a member of the british parliment. Hes very proper and does not like different things or change. as a result he has pretty much disowned giltch since learning of her power when she accidentally bent all the cutlery in the house with her static charge.

Kora has telekinetic powers, and she can phase through objects by herself or with others if she concentrates.

Weakness:
Kora cannot stand blood, no matter the circumstances. She and her powers are weakened by metals like iron, steel, ect.

Background:
Kora was born into a family of 13, five other sisters and seven brothers, so it was only natural that she'd grow lonely and secluded. Her powers were always there, but she'd really discovered what she could do when she was 9; on a school playground, being beaten up by kids who thought she was weird, would wouldn't want to go through the wall? When the kids found her, they tried once more, but Kora used her telekinetic powers to fight back. Days later, Kora was expelled from the school and forced to be home schooled by her already worn out mother.
That's why hearing about this school has made her family's life easier and why Kora was immediately enrolled.

Weakness Cant fly during daylight, his wings are made from darkness.

Background: Chaos woke up one day in a hotel room, no recollection of where he came from or who he was, only having an acceptance letter in his hand. Having no other leads to follow he decided to come to the school.



Other: He actually likes children, being around kids makes him feel at peace.

What your wearing right now: Always has long sleeves and bottoms. Currently is wearing a simple, long, light violet spring dress with a white floral pattern. For sleeves she has a light pink jacket on. On her feet are single-strap sandals with socks.
Appearance:
Background: Only four years in public school before she was withdrawn to be homeschooled by her mother. The school had appreciated her and she was a top student. At the end of third grade there had been a science fair she had signed up for, but her project was not completed and the school's hopes for her to take the school to the nationals on her first year were dashed. She was withdrawn at the end of the year and even though the school offered to allow her to enter as a homeschool student years following she did not.
Her father worked all day and didn't pay much attention to the homeschooling lessons. Alisha stayed above the curve of most children her age which kept him proud. When her mother received the invitation to the school she was skeptical. She had never heard of the school, it was a boarding school far away, and her child had not won anything big nor had public school records. After research and talks with the faculty she finally decided to sent her child there. While she wouldn't be there to keep Alisha in line she was confidant that she had taught the child well.

Powers:
She can steal powers from others, and use them for an extended period of time. At first she did this whenever she had contact with someone, which was difficult considering she could never touch anybody. However, over time she discovered that she could control her powers and use them only when she pleased. When she steals powers she not only takes someone's abilities, but she makes them weak in the process. How long it last for depends on her own choosing, and the length of the touch.

Not only that, but she's known to be quite the copycat considering that anything she sees she can immediately replicate. Though she will only actually be able to commit those things to memory if she continues to practice them. So, if she felt like practicing a new power after having seen it constantly then she might even adapt to that ability.

Weakness:
Often times she finds herself unable to control her powers. For instance, if someone decides to surprise her and jump up behind her she might use her powers as a defense mechanism and steal all the power from their body, which could have bad effects.

Also, her childish nature tends to get in her way, considering it usually restrains her from doing anything of real value since people believe that she must be an idiot.

Appearance:
-face- Loli has a round cherubic face that often make people think she is younger than she really is. She has large chocolate eyes that seem far from 'boring' as most would claim brown eyes to be. A goofy smile is usually planted on her glossed red lips, and it's rather hard to wipe it off her face. Anger is an emotion the girl doesn't usually express, unless she's having a tantrum of sorts. Then her features will be fixed into a rather adorable pout.

-hair- Her hair only adds to her childish appearance, for you'll never find her wearing it in anything but pigtails, tied back with red hair bands. If that doesn't catch your eyes than the color of her hair sure will. It's a vibrant mint green of sorts, and yes it is strangely natural. How no one seems to know, but with magic no one is all that surprised.

-body + attire- For one who acts like a child her body is far from childish. Standing at 5'3 she isn't the tallest girl you'll ever meet, but she does have curves. Her clothing doesn't do much to hide them either. No, she's not a whore. She'd never mess around with boys or anything of that sort. They are far from fun in her opinion, but that doesn't mean she attracts them. It's her own fault though considering she'll usually be wearing a top that looks far more like a bikini than an actual top. Skirts are the only thing that she will wear, and they always have to be flowy and match her hair. Yes, the girl does have a thing for bright colors, which one could tell immediately by her attire. Red and the green that matches her hair are the usual color she'll be wearing. and you'll never find her wearing a differant pair of stockings or shoes. Her stockings are always red and white stripped that go up to her knee, or sometimes all the way up doesn't matter to her as long as the colors are the same. Why she chose the color scheme is rather simple, she claims it reminds her of candy and that bright colors make her happy. Oh, and don't forget her shoes. She'll never be wearing anything else but the bright red heels with a bow on top.

Background:
The life of Annabel most definitely fails to be a Cinderella story, especially considering it has yet to have a happy ending. It didn't start out with unfortunate events, as she was born into a kind loving family. Being an only child, she was constantly spoiled and talked to as if she was some Princess upon a throne. Life was perfect, but that's all she remembers.

Unbeknown to her memory, her parents sent her off to a testing facility soon after they found out that there was a possibility she was different. There many tests took place, none that would harm her. Instead their purpose was to find out the truths behind her abilities so that her genome could be duplicated and replicated. Though unfortunately there was an accident one day when she was startled by one of the scientist. When he touched her she screamed in surprise, her reaction somehow resulting in the body of the man collapsing to the floor as a corpse. As the other scientists tried to approach her the same thing happened to them the moment they touched her, after that she forgot all else and was sent back to her family.

Upon waking up she honestly believed herself to be a child, thus acting like one all the time. Though the image on the other side of the mirror tells her otherwise she still has failed to realize that she isn't a youngster anymore.

Other:
She adopted the nickname 'Loli' soon after she left the research enter. She used the name that she attributed to her favorite candy, claiming that Annabel was a disgusting name to be known as.

Powers: More of a scientist than a teacher but for now hes playing the role of teacher for the benefit of the final showdown.

Background: Essex is just a disguise for his real appearance. Sinisters background is shrouded in secrecy. He is the sole benefactor of the school. Hand picking the students for their potential. He does not suffer fools or failures.

Background: Skye came to the school as she had been dismissed from her previous school teaching job when her powers manifested and she killed a child whilst playing rugby.
She was lucky not to have been imprisoned. Finding a mysterious letter offering her a job position laying on her desk as she packed up her belongings of her old school she came here. Curious but with nothing else left to lose.

Powers: Invisibilty and control of fire.
Weakness: When she is invisible she still has a reflection on a mirrored surface, certain gemstones weaken her powers.

Background: Freya discovered her powers when she was 12 and for a while used them as a toy, but when she got her qualifications she decided that she should start being more serious, and then one day she woke up with a letter offering a teaching spot at the school on her bedside table, she accepted the job as she wanted to be a teacher anyway, she suffered a traumatising shock as a young child when her brother went through the ice on a lake and drowned while she watched helpless.
Other: She doesn't like flowers and is sometimes a bit tomboyish.

Saffron Stared up at the school and couldn't help but feel dread well up inside of her. What was she doing here? She held the acceptance letter with both hands and read it over again.

"Dear Miss Berger...."

She stopped reading aloud knowing what the letter said, she'd read it several times over since receiving it, not believing that she'd been offered a place at an exclusive school.

She had travelled from britain to be here, her father had no idea where she was, and she supposed, he probably didn't even care. She felt guilty for leaving without telling him, but secretly she guessed he'd probably be relieved that she was gone. Out of his life. Out of sight out of mind, and now he could resume his everyday life without worrying he was harbouring a mutant under his roof.
She sighed and fought back the tears. Mutant, yep thats what she was alright. Thats why she was here.

She pushed open the large iron gates and walked down the pathway towards the front door. Wondering if anyone was in. It looked pretty deserted around here. But the address was correct

Glitch had pushed open the large door of the main building after having knocked several times and recieved no answer. This place was kinda creepy, It seemed like it should be swarming with life and yet she couldn't hear a soul.

"HELLO?"

Her voice echoed around the large entranceway.

"I'm a new student. I have my acceptance letters"

She waved them up in the air as if trying to conjure up someone to notice her.

"Ahhh Miss Berger I preseume"

Glitch almost jumped half a mile with fright. She swung round to where the voice had been and saw a man standing there with his hands behind his back looking very smart.

"Hi. I'm sorry to intrude. is there a reception desk or something I should be checking in at. I am in the right place right? This is a school, for...err gifted people"

She felt wary of this man, something about his posture put her ill at ease. he began walking down the stairs, his grace made it almost look like he was floating.

"Yes indeed child you are in the right place, Allow me to introduce myself. I am Dr Essex, The principal here. I'm so pleased you could make it."

He smiled, Glitch was reminded of a crocodiles false grin before it gobbled you up. Before she could say anything further Dr Essex added.

"Your dorm room is A2 Its up the stairs on the right. I've made it so that each room is specially catered for each students specific capabilities. If you would like to put your belongings in your room. Theres going to be an assembly later tonight at around 5pm. The main hall is just along this corridor."

Glitch took all the information in and made a mental note of it in her head. He did seem plesant and helpfull enough but something about him just creeped her out.

"Thankyou sir, I'll go do that now then"

And without another glance at him she headed up the stairs to her new room

Skye had heard voices down the hallway as she had approached the cafeteria, so she had changed her plan and headed for the noise. But by the time she got to where she thought the voices had come from, the people had dispersed.

"awww crud"

She muttered under her breath. She still hadnt seen or found anyone. Then she heard it pretty distinctly. A girls voice calling out hello. Sprinting to the front of the building she saw a rather bedraggled girl standing there dripping wet.

"goodness child come in come in"

Skye surmised that was a pretty stupid thing to say since the girl was already inside the building and dripping water everywhere.

"guess its raining out there huh. Are you one of the new students? Im the PE teacher here Miss Tryston"

Skye felt her confidence fade. She had no idea what was going on around here having only turned up herself late last night.

"Ahh those are good questions...actually what is your name?"

Before the girl could answer Dr essex appeared again.

"Good to see more fresh bodies arriving to breathe life into these old walls. Miss Tryston I do believe you're in the prescence of one young girl by the name of Kora Maycle. I, of course being, Dr Essex the principal. Sorry I was not up to greet you last night but you did arrive rather late. I trust you slept well"

Skye shrugged.
"thats okay sir, I managed to find my way eventually, I slept very well thankyou"
She lied of course, not mentioning the fact that she'd actually fallen asleep at her desk
Dr Essex then turned his attention on Kora.

"And you young miss, are not late for anything, Orientation begins at 5pm sharp this evening in the assembly hall which is just down the hall that way. "

Dr essex pointed down the hall

"Your dorm room is A3. You'll find maps paperwork and other such useful trinkets to help get you accoustomed to living here. Your room is also has a few interesting features to help you with your unique abilities, so feel free to experiment.
