The Tales of the Dark Times and all its Legends, it's heroes, and it's horror had faded from the memories of nearly all. History slowly begins to repeat itself for this mistake we have all made. With the past forgotten, the lessons from back then are lost with them.

For years a dark mage who calls himself Horror King Hathom has experimented in removing body parts and replacing them with limbs of another creature, tearing apart minds and souls for wisdom. The Horror king needed new test subjects, the last few were weak and had nothing to offer him. He had carefully watched for possible moments in the lost lands to lure victims to his home world. He Used powers and saw various heroes and villains that would prove worthy toys and test subjects.

"I see new people I can play with, I doubt the fools would just walk to me. I may have to force them too...no matter, I have the means." He told his living experiments, people with limbs and extra parts of monsters, animals and deformities. Hathom forced his empty dusty castle to light up in dark energy, forming a ritual to make a gate from this world to another. The gate divided and appeared all over the world, letting his creatures through to the unexpecting world to feed on the week and test the heroes and villains.

Once his minions forced their way though he smiled to himself as he sat with ease in his throne chair, watching the gates close behind them, and wait for the timing of his plans. Once the abominations he set loose were killed the gates would open again only leading the adventurers to the southern lands. There they will see what the land is like and begin their journey to battle Hathom, the Horror King. The world was under attack by the monsters Hathom created and with the orders began to attack all living beings near them and destroy the towns around most of them.



Character Name: Hathom, The Horror King
Alignment: Evil
Powers: Master of Curses ( Curses are in principle permanent, but to make it less deadly, they remain temporary.) and has great knowledge of dark magic and what he called 'Horrific Fusion' (Making those monsters as mentioned above. )
Bio: To our world Hathom is Tomha. In the alternate universe Tomha realized the Dread Father was going to kill him and his fellow believers, instead of denying it he researched how he was going to do it. At the day of the ritual Tomha altered the spell where he absorbed the dread fathers life energy instead of it going the original way and he became Hathom, The King of Horror. Since then he began experimenting with forbidden territory and researching dark knowledge.
Extra: Nobody knows where he is exactly but rather not talk about him.
Appearance: Hathom stands at 7ft, completely skinless and naturally bald. His eyes are covered in dark blue goggles with a blue and black version of Tomha's Robe without the hood.

When the gates randomly opened to let loose strange monsters Tomha saw the portal and what was on the other side. Without thinking he bolted in before the gate closed or the monsters hit him. Tomha was one of the only ones to have made his way to Hathoms realm in the lost lands by charging the closing gates. Tomha saw nearly nothing in these lost lands, black fog hiding what could be ahead, the blue ground dissappearing and re-appearing in random spots and the entire region seems shattered making him have to hop to his destination and hope he doesn't fall.

The creatures fully entered the otherworld's random locations and began to wreck havoc everywhere. Hathom must have had no intention of letting his own creations to come back or survive their assault since they had no way to go back. Hathom sighed boredly as he waited to see when the so called heroes and villains would or if they even could deal away with his work.

Pixie walked along the street of New York. She had a scowl on her face as she walked away from a mob bosses hideout she'd been staying out. I can't believe they would think such rude things about me! She fumed, applauded at her host's dirty mind and his minon's empty pockets. They'd attack anything with two legs and a v****a. she thought to herself in disgust, Pixie was lucky to get out of the whole situation alive, she'd been a sitting duck from the start and her alone in a room full of men twice her size didn't fair up equally against her. She sighed closing her eyes and shaking her head as she continued down the New York street reciveing a few confused stares. The only reason Pixie was in New York was to find a few jobs. Gotham was too quiet for her liking and if she'd tried anthing big there, her butt would have been in Arkham within the day. A commotion down the street caught the purple haired girl's attention as she looked up and saw these monsters coming out of a door that had somehow appeared in the middle of New York. Well that looks fun... Pixie thought with a grin as she walked a little closer. It's like Monsters versus Aliens only... Monsters versus lame Spiderman knock-off. She giggled to herself quietly as she studied the blue spider-chicks moves. She tried to tune into the girl's thoughts but the commotion was causing a lot of people to gather on the street, making it hard for Pixie to tune into one specific mind. Groaning to herself for what she was about to do, Pixie moved in even closer to the point were she was a few feet away from one of the monsters. She focused her mind and sent one of the smaller one's telepathically flying into a nearby car. "Hey sweetcheeks. Need some help?" Pixie asked with a coy smile. Pixie knew the blue-girl wouldn't recognize her. She just wanted to know who and what he girl was. Pixie surely wasn't going soft.

Sapphire briefly looked over at the girl in purple, then turned her attention back to the freed creatures. "Sure." she replied. She had no idea who the girl was, but since one of the creatures had flown across the street by themselves, it was a good guess she had powers. Wether the girl was good or bad she'd have to find out after these things had been taken care of. Hopefully anyway.

She wrapped some of her strands around the waist of a few of them and lifted them into the air so that they were almost hanging upside down. Hopefully it would be harder for them to free them selves from that. Next she'd have to go about making a muzzle for these things.

The Beasts proved powerless against the telepathic powers Pixie had. The beasts would be finished off from this either by attacking their wounded and seperated or the energy. As soon as the last one fell the gate reopened but instead of sending them to the beasts original home the Lost Lands they would be in another part of the world. The gate would lead them to the Alternate Daily Bugle. There was no telling how long the gate would stay opened but it will stay open long enough for the heroes to think unless they wanted an entire day to think. At the other side it was Midnight.

Sapphire glanced inside the portal a moment. It didn't look like much...but...
This seemed like one of those classic horror movie things where the viewers screamed at the tv screen for five minutes telling the idiot walking towards the creepy door not to go inside or open it. And for some reason she was starting to picture herself as the idiot walking towards the door.
"As far as superhero stuff goes...this kind of has higher priority than the usual monsters and purse snatchers..." she replied a bit unwillingly. She really didn't want to mess with portals or anything...you never knew if they were just going to close behind you and trap you in heaven knows where. That's how she got here in the first place.

Sapphire glanced back at Pixi a moment, then back at the portal with a small sigh. Well...here goes nothing.
Quickly but carefully she made her way into the portal and through to the other side.

Sapphire paused and looked down at the girl a moment. Well, at least someone was enjoying themselves. She on the other hand was still trying to fight down the urge to turn around and go find Strange to handle this. Even the Fantastic Four or someone who would have more of an idea on what to do.
"Well, we could go higher and try and get a better view of the city. Find out just where we are and what is going on." she replied.
