It was a lovely day outside. The sun shone brightly through a window and landed on the floor of the restaurant. It wasn't the Gogo restaurant, but a small cafe type store that sold pastries and delicious milk tea. The walls were a pink-tinted white with a brown wooden border along the top and bottom. The lights hung elegantly from the ceiling, lighting the cafe without making it blinding. There were booth style tables for up to 4 people along the side of the cafe and smaller square tables for 2 between the counter and the booths. The counter was glass and filled with delicious pastries that were really tempting, but one would never eat so much of it at once.
Lily, the guardian of the fermented candy, was a regular there, so she'd drop by most of the time. She had headed off to the counter to purchase a pastry and cup of milk tea to split with the Gogo, so he was quite alone as he sat on the table; Lily's jacket hanging from the back of the chair in front of him.
The little ferment held his wrapper flower close to him as he watched Lily's movements; not letting her out of his sight. He didn't want to lose her or let her run off without him. He was pretty afraid of being left behind by others, so he was paranoid of them leaving him to fend for himself. His two black beady eyes watched other people as well. They headed in almost always two by two, the woman's arm around the man's. It was a strange ritual to him and wondered if it was okay for him as well...

Mina swalked into a place she hadn't been. She had enough of sushi and thought it would be a nice change. Once inside she saw someone she had met before. "Hiya Lily!" She called.Philly was carried by Mina in her hands. He watched as he was taken somewhere new. Maybe this would be a place to make some quick cash? What could be his con this time?

Lily turned over as she heard her voice. "Oh Hi!! Mina, right?" She asked. She had only met this woman once for as long as she could remember. She took her food in her hands and walked over to Mina. "Do you come here often?" She asked. She looked down and saw the little Ferment sitting on Mina's hands. "A gogo!" She exclaimed. "Congrats!" She said to the other lady. "He's quite a cute little one." she said with a bright smile towards the little guy. "Maybe he would like to meet Puccho?" She asked, pointing over to the ferment on the table.
Puccho looked up at the lady who called his guardian's name. He had never met her, but obviously, she knew Lily. He held his little wrapper-flower close to him. It was similar to his security item. Like a little baby and her blankie. He got a bit self-conscious when Lily pointed to him. He blushed and his his face even more.

Mina smiled. "Oh, no I haven't. I was just looking for something new and not sushi." The fairy fox girl laughed at herself. "Yes, this is Philly. He came a bit ago. I'm sure he'd love to meet Puccho!" She walked over to where the other ferment was and placed Philly down.
Philly nodded to the other guy. "How's it going there..." He didn't know what to call the guy yet. 'Candy' was just too boring, but for lack of anything else. "Candy."

"Well then you're in the right place!" Lily said excitedly. She loved the little cafe, but loved it more when she introduced it to a friend or stranger. "This place has the best pastries!" she said as she held up the pastry that she picked up from the counter. the cup of milk tea was ready as she said this. Lily picked it up from the cup itself due to her dislike of carrying cups on the handle and then walked over to the table where Mina had headed to.
Puccho saw the other male be placed down on the table. "Hello there." Puccho said in a friendly manner. Might as well be kind and gentle than to be mean, right? "What's your name?" He asked, completely ignoring the fact he was called 'candy'. Even if he was, it was odd hearing it come from another guy. "Puccho. This is Mina and her ferment. be nice, okay?" Lily said to the candy-boy. Puccho nodded at his guardian and looked back to the sushi ferment with a smile.

The fairy fox girl smiled. "It does look nice. What should I get?" She asked as she looked to the menu. She was hungry and something cake-y and chocolate sounded good.
Philly understood his name and nodded. "Alright, Puccho I'm Philly. Nice to meet you." He smiled as he would think of a better nick-name then 'candy' later. For right now he would call the other by his real name.

Lily smiled as Mina picked up the menu. It made her feel happy that Mina seemed to like the small cafe. "I'd recommend the Eclair if you're looking for something sweet." she said, referring to the chocolate coated doughnut that was filled with a light cream. "Oh, but if you don't want something so sweet, maybe a danish?" Those were probably just as sweet... But Lily, having a giant sweet tooth, just loved the sweet foods at the cafe. "but look over the menu anyways." She cut in the middle of her own sentence. "Everything's worth trying!"
"Nice to meet you too." Puccho said almost inaudibly. This other ferment was really attentive, but he liked it. It meant that he didn't have to introduce himself to the other ferment. Puccho held the origami flower in his arms tightly as he began to talk again to Philly. "What brings you here?" He asked, trying to strike a conversation.

Mina nodded. "I always like something sweet...oh and something chocolate. So, I'll take the Eclair then. It's got chocolate one it, right?" She smiled as she peered down at the ferments.
"Being small I go where the Foxy Lady takes me." Philly answered. "However, I do love a game of chance. How about you?" Philly thought that maybe the ferment had some gold he could 'con' his way into.

Lily's expression brightened as Mina agreed to try to Eclair. "shall we go to the counter to buy it?" She asked the fairy fox lady. "Puccho will watch over the table for us. There's no need to worry if both of us stand up and go." She said, trying to reassure her in case she was one of those really protective guardians who wouldn't take her eye off her kid or a second.
Puccho's head tilted at the sound of 'games of chance'. He hadn't really played any. but one of them was... "Like bingo?" He said happily. Lily's guy friends used to take the two of them to the Bingo house all the time where it smelt like old people and cheap soap. They'd never win though. It somehow made Puccho think that old people had a lucky streak going for Bingo games...

"Okay, I guess that would be okay. Be nice Philly." Mina said as she stood up and then headed over to order her food. She wasn't worried about something happening to Philly she was more worried what Philly would do without her watching.
"Bingo huh? Yeah, you can win money but it's not that much of a gamble." Still, if there was a way to cheat at it Philly could figure it out. "I wonder how we could play that. You need number balls, a spinny thing and cards."

Lily stood up as she pushed her wallet into the pocket of her jeans. She headed over behind Mina to the counter where they could buy an Eclair. In her mind, she kept thinking back to Puccho and Philly. It wasn't that she didn't trust Philly. It was that she didn't really trust Puccho. He was shy in the world around him and didn't know how to fend for himself except if he was with Lily. She just hoped that he was going to be alright when she got back...
"I don't know. I only play with Lily when she takes me." He said as he tapped a hand on his face. "I don't really like games with gambling. Lily says it's bad and people get addicted to it." He said. Puccho was one to never trust without first calculating if it was right or wrong. It was his nature to do it. It developed into a habit as the days went by and he lived in Lily's room. "How about we just talk." He suggested to Philly. He might as well not try anything too risky on his first outing to see another Gogo.

Mina got her eclair ordered and then waited for it. She was hungry and now really wanted to try it.
Philly listened. He then chuckled a little. What he did wasn't gambling anyway...not the way he did it. Oh well, talking would have to do. "Alright, what do ya want to talk about Candy?"

"Puccho, Puccho. Don't call me Candy" He said as he chuckled a bit as Philly called him that. "How about... your life. I want to know more about it." He said with a smile plastered on his green coloured being as he hugged the orange wrapper flower close to himself. "How is it at where you live?" Puccho wondered if the lifestyle of the people around him was different from the one where he lived at Lily's. He loved his lifestyle, but he wanted to know more about the world. It was so fascinating to him that he wanted to see it and feel it with his own two hands.

The ferment nodded. Philly understood not to call the other "candy" but he liked nick-names so more then likely he would do it again...at some point.
"Ah, well I live in an attic that fits me and my Kiren Serephina. The fox-lady lives in the main house. He's nice but a little flaky. What about you?" He asked as he looked back over at the other ferment.

"That must be quite adventurous then!" He said, his eyes glittering with excitement. "You have the whole attic to yourself! Do you ever venture to the ends of it?" Puccho asked Philly eagerly. "uhm, sorry. I got a little too excited." He said with a blush and a nervous chuckle. He hadn't been inside of an attic before. Lily had always told him that they were dusty since no one goes up there and that there were ghosts that lurked there waiting for their next victim to go up so they can be eaten.
"I don't really have my own place to stay. Lily made me a small cardboard box house with a cotton bed and a string of lights. It's quite nice even though it gets a bit boring after a while" He said with another nervous laugh.
