 It was a still day, a young female reclined by a pond, her paw touching the surface of the water. She furrowed her brow, concentrating on the tiny water droplets, trying to see if she had any powers like the elders she saw the other day. Patience blinked, not fazed as nothing happened. "Oh well..." she said, "There's always a next time." She retracted her paw, shaking the water off.

It felt good to be outside for once. For once, he can get away from his cramped den and away from his sister, Ophelia. Though, something inside of him made him anxious and uncertain; that something in the pit of him was stuck stirred in him and that the decision to leave his sister was the wrong one. It wasn't like he was going to leave forever, just for a little while and yet..He shook his head lightly. He loved his sister dearly but she is so naive. Such flaw got on his nerves at times and though he knew that she meant well, he found her to be downright annoying. Being both a brother and a protective guardian to her, his job was just too stressful for such a young pup.
Trotting upon the soft Earth, he allowed the scents to guide him in the direction he was heading. He would allow his feet to do the walking and allow them to take him to wherever they pleased. A faint scent of another entered open nares and he couldn't help but snort. In a way, he was relieved to know what another dragonfly was nearby, though he was hesitant to follow the scent. Before he could even decide to turn back or not, the image of the other was locked into his orbs. He kept a good distance, almost hidden as he watched the other for a moment; slight curiosity filled his orbs though he felt more alert and wary than curious.

Patience's ear twitched, registering the rustling sound near her. Turning her head towards the source of the sound she watched head tilted, seeing nothing, Patience went back to rest her head on her paws, watching the waves again. The rustling sound was much too small for a large predator so she was safe.
Patience thumped her tail on the ground lightly, wondering what else she could do on such a nice day. The blue dragonfly sighed aloud, staring at the water in front of her.
