The Outskirts The Outskirts is the colletive name for where rouges, lost kittypets, and loners tend to hang around. It is found by a small Blacksmiths village and open field where Twolegs come and test their new weapons. There are trees, but are few and far between, and the water they drink is contaminated by Twoleg debris.

Ashes was laying in the grass in front of an old, fallen over hollow log. Her eyes were adjusting to the light, still. She figured Sun would be around soon. Briar wouldn't, though. She'd be in her usual place this time of morning.

lilla sat on her haunches looking around hoping that no predator or two leg would come. she just came through the trees from her old two leg home and now she is a stay because her two legs left her behind. it was getting dark and she had to find shelter soon so she walked over to a hollow log and fell asleep inside
(this happened at night)

There is a sound in the bushes. and after a moment, Silentcloud steps softly out, his fur glossy and clean. He spotted Ashes beside the old log and nods, yellow eyes shining.
"Enjoying the moonshine?" he asks casually, sitting down to curl his tail around his paws.

"hmph." Ashes meowed, amber eyes looking at him for a moment. She scanned his body. "I was, until you, a clan cat came along." She huffed. "What do you want?" Her amber eyes narrowed. She held bitterness towards clan cats.

Silentcloud laughs off-handedly, holding a strange deadly note to it.
"Dont be so harsh. I just wanted to find a place to rest." he mews, flicking a fly away with his ear and smiles. "Unless your going to be greedy and run me out."
His eyes turned to the she-cat, and it seemed that they were slightly narrower than before.
"But you wouldn't do that, now would you?" he continues, mocking.

The old she-cat with a deep scar running from above one eye, and down across rose to her feet. She bared her teeth and snarled dangerously. "Don't toy with me, kit. I've had ticks bigger than you." Ashes spat. "This is my home, and you can either go back to your clan of wusses or find a different place to stay. I know a clan cat when I see one, and you must've done something wrong to be all the way out here." Her eyes narrowed further. "You best keep a low profile around here, if you don't want your head ripped off your shoulders from the other cats up and about."

The former clan deputy just chuckles and flicks his tail in a very kit-like way.
"Dont make me laugh." he mews, not threatened by the old cat at all. "My clan didn't exile me if that's what your thinking, and you couldn't even have the speed to slash at me before I ripped your throat out..."
He couldn't help but let out a laugh at his last statement as he imagined the scene in his head.
"Now just comply with my simple wish before I have to resort to force."
He suddenly turns serious and he silently unsheathes his claws. After exiling himself from Fireclan, he had nothing to hold him back from the bloodlust he craved. 'This old fleabag will be a good start.'

Ashes got an evil, strange glint in her eyes, it seemed like there was something she was hiding, something she was holding back. She smiled. "You lay one paw on me you'll wish you hadn't." She meowed. "I won't leave this place. Not unless I feel like it." She meowed. Her long, sharpened claws glinted in the moonlight as she unsheathed them. She revealed long, yellow fangs.

This is off topic, but selesha, your last post made me lol big time. rofl
Silentcloud thought for a moment, considering the old loner carefully, then frowned, sheathing his claws.
"On the contrary..." he mews, standing."You wont have to leave after all."
He smiles at her and nods, padding past her, leaving plenty of breathing space between them. 'I cant start a fight, not yet.' he told himself. 'Showerstar must be hot on my tail now. And I can let them find me now can I?' He chuckles to himself before disappearing slowly into the brush.

lilla watched silentcloud leave and looked back at ashes. her stomach rumbled but she stayed where she was at cuz she wanted to see what ashes would do.

Ashes snorted as the jerk walked off. Next time he came around, she scratch his eyes out. She watched him go, carefully.
