Moray could not stay with them. She tried her hardest to stay in the pride founded by the father of her children-but she could not no more. She was pained to see her kidnapped son everyday and not be able to speak to him-and she knew why. He thought they abandoned him, a big lie that the king told him to get him on his side. It pained her-so. She would never abandon a cub... ever. She could no longer take the sadness and grief and before Nadra had a chance to join them-she left.
She and her hybrid son parted ways. He had plans for his future and she bade him farewell and goodbye. She traveled with Nadra and her daugther Aucuba... not really knowing where to go. IN a moment of her flirtiness-Nadra over stepped her boundaries with a rouge male and became pregnant. They were now desperate to find a place where they could be safe with their cubs.
And someone told them about the pride of lionesses. They got directions and they headed that way-Moray was eager to find this place. A promising place.

Though she always dared boundaries to be broken in every relationship she was ever in, Nadra was just much a flirt as she was cunning and manipulative. Though the male she had been toying with served her every desire, from finding her and Moray food, to simply cleaning her as she fell asleep, The little white she-devil had taunted and teased the young male one to many times and he snapped. Giving into his own animalistic urges the young male took Nadra by force, though the older female was tougher than she looked she even could not stop him from planting his seed within her.
Though he gained his mind back and out of anger, frustration and most of all, pure fear, the young male ran away never to be seen again. Though Nadra knew that karma would come back to bite her in the a**, the female was able to force the pain and fear into the back of her mind to the point where she nearly forgot all about that horrible day. Though as Nadra urged Moray to leave the pride it took the rejection of her own son to make her realize that the pride she had once called home had no room for either female.
Nadra had always lived her life on the move, never calling any one place home, it was surprising that Nadra played in Moray's game as long as she did, staying in that particular pride. She had already grown tired of it within the first week of their stay but stuck it through and faked a smile for Moray's sake. Knowing a little on about nearly all the prides she pretended as though she had talked to some one, and had "them" give her directions on where to go. So through a little wandering simply to fill in the missed time roaming in no particular direction Nadra found her way to the entrance to this curious pride.
Looking back to Moray and their daughter Aucuba with a gentle smile, "This is it loves... we're here."

Aucuba had watched quietly as her biological mother had sought to reconcile with her lost brother, she had quietly moved to her mothers side to comfort her, knowing she would never truly be able to do anything, even Nadra could not pull her poor pale mother form her sadness. So when the time came and her mother suggested they leave, she was upon her mothers tail. She knew the pride was not her place, she knew deep down that something was wrong with her, that the blessing that Nadra had received would never be hers. She was barren and it hurt to know that.
She loved cubs though and took solace in that she may be able to help her mothers to raise her siblings, to care and watch over them when they were busy. She followed the two lionesses now occasionally nipping playfully at a tail tip or scooping a back leg, she was sill young and she still wished to play and cheer her parents up.
When Nadra spoke the young brightly coloured chepard lifted her head and took a deep breath, the place smelled of females, it was a comforting scent. "What do we do now?" she whispers looking between her 'mothers' for guidance.

The arrival of new cubs into the pride was a blessing Kiuma thanked the stars for every time the sun kissed her face and woke her from her nightly rest. It was a sign, and a most welcome one. The pride was thriving and growing, and it made her swell with pride. Once, she had worried that settling here would be the end of her story... a lioness with a full six cubs to care for, all but alone in the world. There had been so much to do then, the never ending hunting with an ear always to cries of distress from cubs under attack.
Now though, all was peaceful in her 'kingdom', the borders quiet for days at a time while the pride got on with the business of living. Food was still plentiful here, it would be quite a while before they hunted it out and needed to range farther for prey. And careful management of hunting would prolong that time, leaving an area to 'restock' while using one that had been left alone for a time.
It all filled the red queen with a sense of peace she'd never known before, and gentle, quiet pride in herself and the ones she cared for. It showed in the lazy sort of way that she patrolled the border, moving quietly, but not stealthily, attentive, but not on the hunt.
It was in this easy-going sort of manner that she heard the sounds of others and approached with curiosity rather than instant suspicion, confident she could handle whatever was there.

Moray felt a new sense of hope though, walking with her true love at her shoulder and her green daughter behind her. She spun and playfully batted at her daughter, her purple eyes alight. It was obvious she was happy to be away from that monster of a king. It was a loss of her son also though-she hoped he would come and find her someday... Or the opposite. She laughed, looking to Nadra. Moray was always the less dominant and more girly of the two-and she lifted her head and gazed about.
"I don't know."
She sat down and pulled Aucuba closer to her and gave her a few licks. Soon Nadra would have cubs and Aucuba could be less lonely... if she was lonely. Not to mention, Moray was excited to take care of babies again. She had a sneaky suspicion that Nadra would be less intent on keeping the babies content than she had been. The prospects of being a mother-were so great.
"I suppose... we um.. wait for a guard to come by and see us... hopefully they won't attack us!" She said worriedly, holding her precious green daughter close.

Though Nadra wasn't sure about the leniency of this pride she was sure that who ever roamed the edges of the pride would take pity on a rather pregnant lioness. She had less patience as of late and found herself nipping at her eager daughter. Looking back at her daughter she forced a smile and giggled as she looked to Moray often to gather the child's attention. Though the small gathering paused as they stared ahead knowing that if they went any further that their presence would be rude. So instead she do something just a notch below "rude", and yelled out towards the inner workings of the pride, "Hello!?" Her voice was loud yet extremely feminine. Though she was bold Nadra was extremely all female...
Looking back to her mate, and he daughter she smiled sheepishly with her eyes shut, knowing well that her actions may have been a bit too bold. It was the playful devil within her, the child wanting to create mayhem. Giggling she looked back to her mate and opened her eyes, "Love you baby." Looking over to her daughter she quickly moved over to her and bumped her nose against hers, "Love you too." she began to purr deeply and rubbed against her before moving to Moray's side, "Excited you two?" Looking towards the center she smiled warmly as they waited.

When Kiuma came upon the group that had infiltrated her lands, she found a happy little family of three, rather than a marauding band of rogues. Of course, she hadn't really expected such a band, but it went a long way towards putting them on the red queen's good side.
"Greetings, Strangers." Kiuma said as she stepped out of the cover of the brush, her bright red form stripped with black. Her bone and grass-woven ornaments hung easy around her body, proud mementos of her life. She looked every inch the queen, just as she wished to.
"Might I ask what brings the three of you out here, where few others go?" She rumbled, a hint of warning in her tone.

Moray lifted her head upon hearing someone approach and speak. Her eyes blinked at the red lioness, a reminder of her past pride with their bright reds, yellows and other colors. She took a tentative step back, holding her green child against her for a moment. She looked to Nadra and found some support in seeing her round belly and a smile crossed her face.
"Excuse our intrusion... we mean no harm..." She said softly, looking down to the green girl at her side. This was their chance at a life where peace and safety would finally be found and Moray could stop worrying. "We are looking for a home in which we and our future cubs will be safe..." She said softly, walking over to Nadra and giving her a head butt softly with her pale nose.
"We are looking for a home in other words..."

Nadra being far the boldest female within their small group, she was both by far smaller than most averaged size lioness and easily too bold to be called a gentle lady. Pushing forward past her comfort zone the pregnant pale lioness was not in her right mind since her pregnancy became painful and overwhelming at the same time...
She couldn't sway her hips and she didn't have a graceful stride as her pelvis became loose ready to pass a number of cubs...
Still, she quickly walked up to the queen and lowered into a low crouch showing authoritative respect. Keeping her gaze low Nadra gently nuzzled the queens forepaws. "A pleasure my lady..." She purred completely ignoring the queens threat showing no fear but in the same regard absolute respect. "We would like to join the Antianeira pride." by saying the name of the pride revealed that Nadra was not a clueless wanderer... but at the same time her knowledge was based off of rumors from the prey that wandered the outskirts of the pride itself.

Had they but asked, they'd have found Kiuma knew of the pride Moray had come from... and had found them a pompous, rule-bound bunch, focused more on the color of your pelt than your strength and intelligence. Kiuma herself would have only been a gasht there, something that would have rubbed her fur backwards, but it had been the fact that her then-lover would have been shikar-i, and thus unable to fully bond with her, that had decided Kiuma against joining. True, she had lost that lover, but she was proud of the pride she had made here, where black and white mingled freely with red and gold and purple. Even the heir was black as shadow, and none thought less of her for it.
The red queen studied the strangers with a critical eye, though she lost much of her aggressiveness when it became clear that one lioness was heavily pregnant, and one was still rather young. Not a raiding party then, though she hadn't really expected that. She also hadn't expected the pregnant female to throw herself at her paws and nuzzle them, surprise blooming on Kiuma's face. She lifted a paw, but didn't step back, her voice unguarded when it came.
"Please, stand back up! You don't even know who I am, to act like that, and besides, its never been the custom here to abase yourself before one of higher authority, no matter the rank." That said, she did step back from the touch, schooling her features smooth and serene again. Inside, she was a little shaken. No one really cared to touch her, hadn't in a rather long time. Only her daughters offered her affection and nuzzling, so it was strange to feel it from someone unrelated. It was also unpleasant, despite how most would feel it, because it brought back memories of others she had shared touch with, ones who had hurt her and left.
"I think introductions are in order." She said gruffly.

Moray and Nadra knew all to well how that very pride worked. Moray most of all. Being that she was born there and willingly left told something about her. And then the fact she had hybrid cubs, that added in even more. Moray sat down and watched her mate's show of submission.
"I am moray... I was born in the Kunanda'kun pride. That is where i met my mate... but we have had such a terrible time finding one another again, settling down in one pride and finding it was terrible... so we are hoping for a home in which our cubs can be safe."

Nodding briefly Nadra stood back up and took many steps back so that she could stand beside he mate, she rubbed against her lovingly and began to purr deeply. Looking down she listened in on the other females words, not needing to reply right away she looked to Moray with a warm smile as she spoke then looked down to their daughter. Giggling softly she looked to the queen, she was in a sitting position and finding no energy to stand and give a proper bow, she simply bowed her head. (because she's VERY pregnant after all.)
Lifting he head she met the woman's gaze eye to eye, "I am Nadra Zuri, a rouge, and up until now I've had no land to call my own." Forcing herself to stand she smiled brightly, "As long as my mate here..." She motioned over to Moray then looked back to Kluma, "Is happy, then my actions will reflect that." Taking another step forward she bowed again, "I have learned that it's best to treat all you meet as royalty the first time you greet a new stranger, especially one that lives within a pride..." She giggled and jokingly added, "And I am but an outsider."

Kiuma regarded the pair for a long moment with thoughtful red eyes, a hint of a frown on her face. Finally, she chose to make her next words to Nadra.
"In this pride, strength, intelligence, and skill determine your rank, such as it is. We are a prideful lot, and debasing yourself before anyone is unthinkable. If you wish to stay here, you would do well to learn how to stiffen your spine and meet others as equals, rather than inferior to superior. That, or risk being at the very bottom of a group of very fierce females. Not all of us are 'nice'." Her advice given, she nodded brusquely.
"You two are welcome to come into the lands and look around a bit, talk to others and decide if this is really the home for you. With the dangers that surround us, we need to be strong and united. Weakness is not well tolerated. But now, tell me. If you two were to stay, what roles do you think you would best fit?"
Turning, the red lioness motioned them to follow her, leading them further into the tangle of growth towards where the pride made its dens, the heart of their lands.

Moray lifted her head. A role that she could fulfill here in the pride. She lifted her head and looked a bit giddy, looking to her child and her love and then following behind the lioness softly. She was silent in thought, her purple eyes deep in thought.
"A role to play here!" She said as if to repeat the question and think it out straight. If anyone, what could she be that would benefit a pride. Then, her head popped up. "I think I could help with mothers... I could help them with birthing and the raising and such. Nadra helped me raise my cubs up... and neither of us knew what we were doing at first but its sort of came to me."
She paused to gaze at her green child. "Though I will never see her again, I am sure that doing just that would please my mother."

At first, honestly Nadra wanted to maul the woman before her, saying she had no backbone. Simply enough Nadra's gaze went from friendly to a dry glare. She simply narrowed her eyes and her ears flicked back threateningly. Looking back at Moray she sighed with a slightly displeased look on her face, kind of like saying, "who the heck is this grouch?" then looked back with a sour look on her face and followed right behind Moray, she quickly pushed the mood from her irritable mind and grabbed Moray's tail and held it playfully as if holding on another hand as a couple would when they walked side by side, in this case; behind her lover.
Then Nadra stopped and tugged on Moray's tail to stop her then cleared her throat as she jogged past Moray and ran infront of the other woman, to stop her too. Questioningly she took another step forward, to show... well, backbone (and of course a slight attitude) "Danger?" She looked back up to Moray quizingly before looking back to the red diva, "What do you mean by dangers all around us?"
