I've read some Yaoi's like Desire and Selfish Love. I'm thinking about getting Only the Ring Finger Knows. What do you recommend?

probably 'Yellow" Its much like fake, sept i find it better in some respects. Like the development of other characters besides the 2 main men.

Love Mode's fist manga has been officially published by Blu this month. I have my copy already wink But its a very good manga. Lovely story and whatnot. You must have it.
I didn't like FAKE that much, but Gravitation seems pretty good, though I'm only a manga in. My friends have read a few books more and loved it, so you might want that as well.

Has anyone read Antique Bakery? I read it today. Made me hungry and made me feel bad for Ono.

Ahh! I read Antique Bakery like a week ago, it was so awesome!
I couldn't really see a plot, so I'm going to assume the first one was just to give background on the characters. I can't wait until the second comes out! I, too, feel bad for him. I love his character. That entire "demonically attractive to everyone he's attracted to" thing was hilarious.

I wouldnt reccomend FAKE, well the story line is okay but the drawings make me sick... in the 9th one(the one they have sex in) I thought the drawings just ruined it... But i would reccomend Yellow and Gravitation... Ive read all of those and seen the whole anime for gravitation and they were pretty good... I just think a yaoi isnt any good if the drawings suck...

I read antique bakery. I violently oppose it. The artwork is hiddeous, the storyline is thinner then some really thin gas (gimmie a break, I suck at science) and the boy-love parts were ew.
I aggree with turoro in the FAKE artwork isnt that good, but I felt the heavy text-dense nature of it wasn't good. This is manga, not a novel. You're supposed to be immating speech, and condensing what you want to SAY into picture. FAKE failed at this. Plus the plots dragged on. I mean, really dragged. (The more I talk about FAKE, the more I hate)

I would recommed F.A.K.E., but I believe that the manga is consider a little too much yaoi. I really don't know and also don't care. It's a really good manga. I also love Gravitation (Don't know if I spelled it right). Those are the two I recommed.

Ha! Gravitation is GODLY heart
I'm probably one of the biggest Gravitation fans you'll find. I have the whole anime series on my computer, and the movie. Unfortunately, I *don't* have the manga... but for some reason, every book store seems to feel the need to price manga at $30+.

I loved Yellow. Loved the art, loved the characters, loved the story. Last two volumes had some angst and I'm an angst-whore...
I /would/ recommend FAKE. I wouldn't pick it up for the longest time, because I didn't really care for the art style, but...I'm really glad that I did. The art grew on me and I really like the plot and characters....
(I'm very character driven.)
Hmm...I don't know about Gravitation. Everyone (and their grandmother, it seems) has recommended this series - but I just can't get into it! I haven't read all that much of it though; at this point not much is going on and I really don't like Yuki... I'd probably like it if I read more of it...but at this point I'm seriously poor and I can't afford to buy a series until I like it, when I could be buying ones I already /do/ like. smile
Also, it's about a kid and his band. Or something. I tend to prefer series where something gets blown up or it has magic/vampires/werewolves/etc. School boys doing everyday things doesn't always do it for me. *shrugs and laughs* smile
Love Mode...I love. And Wild Rock. WR is a one-shot, but I really liked this one. Kazusa Takashima's art is gorgeous (IMO).
