if this is true then its about damn time they made one.they better add wi-fi as a part of the remake but if thats true im wondering about the compatibility with the wii and diamond and pearl and platinum.if leafgreen and fire red got the national dex then this has to as well.problem with this is that everybody could get a red gyrados in the games and transfer them in the others.

Not looking forward to it.
Game companies need to make new games, insted of remakes to make a quick buck from fans.

Not really.
I love a lot of Nintendo games, but my favorite company would hands down be SNK. KoF is such an epic series. <3
But in all honesty, I really hate remakes. The games should die in their times and stay there. Look at Chrono Trigger. It has a shitload of remakes. It should have died in the Sness. But that's just me. To me remakes are kinda imoral in a way.

A classic is a classic because it had it's era.
Just imagine if they started making 1967's Muscle cars.
It would be horrible. Yes we have that shitty Dodge Avenger Challenger, but if Ford, started making a new Muscle car like the ones in 1967. It would be awfull and would kill the poing of people who actully own the orginal muscle car.
But yeah eveyone has their opinions.

I gladly welcome the remake...I can't seem to get myself to play the games gold/silver/ and crystal that I have...mostly because I don't have anyone to battle with them.

It's called the Mustang. ninja And you do make some valid points. Classics should stay classics because they had their time int he sun. But companies (not just video game companies) remake their products because they want to keep their greatest ideas as modern as they can or because of the demand their fans make. I'm for remaking things that were so epic they just have to re-release it. :]

Well Pachulo, I will admit some games have their place and need to stay there. But G/S/C need remakes...... Now lets say if they made a rendition of R/S/E then that would be weird and completely absurd. Yet these older games sometimes are brought back not for nostalgic purpose but for the youngins that weren't around the first time. besides who doesn't want to go into two of the best leagues in poke-history!?

Pachulo Not looking forward to it. Game companies need to make new games, insted of remakes to make a quick buck from fans. Gold and Silver were the best games yet made, they had the most powerful story, the best rival (Who was an actual villain, not some doofus looking for friendly competition) and the best extras yet put into a Pokemon game. 8 more badges? Crapton of extra caves? Bunch of roaming/hidden pokemon/daily events? Ash in the back of a cave with a level 81 Pikachu? Hells. Yeah. It's a damned sin that this game was not remade sooner, with better graphics, new pokemon, updated trading capabilities and even moar extras.
