As the sun rose on the horizon the world opened its eyes to yet another day. Spring was changing hands with summer and the animals were out and about in chatter and harmony. Love was definitely in the air and it showed deeply in anything it touched. Calm breezes whistled through the emerald stalks rising upwards to the cerulean blue skies. The trees danced merrily shaking their new leaves in a joyous happiness felt by everything. Life was once again awakening and it was excited for summer to arrive.
But standing in the recesses of the shadows stood a creature deep in thought and wonderment. Her thoughts extended to past events as well as the future as they trickled along rather like a fast moving stream. The mare moved slowly stretching her legs as her hooves carried her finally out into the direct fresh rays of the sunlight. Her belly had been warning her of something yet she wanted to ignore its endless murmurs. It wouldn't be known for a while yet but Kunai knew she had finally fulfilled Sasuke's request. But the real question was the fact if she followed her heart or simply did what her teacher had asked her. Frustrated she walked further still deep in thought about her decision and how it affected everyone.
Yes, she carried love for Sasuke but the fact of the matter was he loved another. It was both heart wrenching and yet she respected the male's wishes not to speak of his interest in his friend. Deep down Kunai knew this was only a plot, a simple yet complex method to keep his clan flourishing. She supposed this was his calling in life remembering the stories of the great Uchiha's past life but was it such a die hard subject she wondered. Was it this great necessity to regain his clan and make himself the leader of a nation theoretically speaking Kunai murmured to herself.
She wondered right now if she should tell him her news. Honestly though he probably might be overjoyed and yet then again he might be smug and a b*****d in return. Whatever the case she had to tell him then figure out how her parents would take this fabulous news. Her mother she wasn't so much worried about rather Kakashi being quite stern and wanting Sasuke's hide on a silver platter.

It was his destiny as he stood there day after day gripping for a future that slipped away gradually from him. Was there no sense to this plot as it unraveled like the blankets hanging in the native's unfamiliar village he wondered. How hard could it truly be to revive a clan? His thoughts twisted and turned emotionally though his features displayed nothing more then frustration lately. Standing there calmly as the creature he was born into he searched for reasons as to why his plan had not taken root as of yet. Could it be himself or was it her own stubbornness that was making a mess of the situation he groaned. Honestly, how could it be an Uchiha who was born of the utmost pure blood even in this "angeni" life.
"I'll make her .." he stopped then paused, "There's no damn way I can make her do anything. It takes two for revival of a damn clan. Dammit why does everything have to be so damn complicated like it is."
It was quite unusual for Sasuke to openly contemplate aloud and yet for some reason he didn't care. This was his own dilemma and he had to figure out why things weren't succeeding like he would of wanted them to.
"You have too many problems Uchiha. Maybe if you wouldn't worry over them you might get somewhere, "came the low growl of a canine drenched in black carrying that all too familiar mark upon his shoulders and back.
"Its none of your concern cur" the stallion retorted with an edge of irritated annoyance. Flicking his ears he refused to look back at the wolf tormenting him as always. There wasn't a day slipping by where that mutt couldn't just keep his mouth shut for a change.
"Oh but it is Uchiha... You see the Mare is close to I as she is you. Therefore she is my responsibility as well. You two and your secret oh what was it called.." he paused then continued, "plan yes that's it. I'm sure your other lover would love to know about it." Snickering he scurried away as the stallion kicked his hid leg backwards as a warning.
"You will not tell that fox nor his dimwit companion anything about my decision or hers! If you so much go blabbing this to either of them you'll experience why what a killing kick is. Don't make me repeat this again Sharingan. I am an Uchiha and I will do what I want, understood?" Backing away from the wolf he snorted pawing the ground as his ears perked. A sudden scent had filled the air and it made him nervous while at the same time anxious to continue with his plan.
"She arrives. Now go cur and make yourself scarce." he glared with darkening onyx orbs showing no remorse if he were to kick his companion. This was is problem and he'd deal with it.

The mare took in the robust scent the stallion was omitting so full of power drenched in absolute frustration. Her ears swiveled with a distinct wariness responding to her to simply turn back and never take in his being ever again. Nothing was ever set in stone yet her awaiting secret growing more with each heavy footfall was perfect sense the deed was complete. Strangely to to only a few hours ago they were small and quiet. Time had passed now leaving the mare with a full rounded belly signaling the next move was in effect. Sighing heavily she walked toward the gallant stallion that still took her breath away, he whom she she once called a monster. Perhaps he was really her mind was echoing. No, this was her decision to fulfill his desire and yet she could of just said "No". So who was to blame for such an act when they both agreed to settle in and complete that goal together. No one really for if there was anyone to blame she knew it was both.
As she walked toward him she held her head high despite the fear and rejection the bile in her throat was whispering to her. Soon though as this feeling began gnawing at her she snorted raising her head high. Kunai refused to be downgraded because of an action. She knew deep inside whatever misery would come from this she'd stay strong. For ninjas were strong and they could withstand anything.
"Sasuke...it is done" she couldn't continue though she knew his eyes were trained onto her.
All Kunai was hoping was the stallion was pleased with the result. Deep within her lied the key to his ultimate dream. A dream he held since long before his change had taken place. Where his bloodline ruled over all others and his power stung those that defiled his name. Now Sasuke had the ultimate power that she held protectively within her. Much like her own father waited patiently when her mother was ready to present her siblings and herself unto him. She wondered what he was thinking under that cold look that he held in his deep set onyx eyes. Were they proud or were they of disappointment she wondered.
Not once had the mare lifted her eyes from his strong gaze till a strange bird flew around her and landed upon her rump simply sitting there. She tilted her head curiously as her mother would had wondering what this bird was here or rather representing. The crow strangely carried her colors and eyed the stallion with a strange oddness. As she continued to stare at this oddity in a bird she felt a strange bonding with it, a weird washed over feeling of strength and determination. Kunai had heard of familiars for her grandmother carried one with her. They were said to bring good karma and strength to those they bonded with. Perhaps this one had chosen her the mare wondered.

Taking in her scent was almost a rush for him as he knew long before she spoke the truth. A smirk less then a full smile curved his muzzle knowing finally his frustration was laid to rest. Now he started the long list of wonderment as they filled his head silently. How many would he sire? Would they be like himself or more like the mare he chose? Would they be proud Uchiha or stubborn like their grandfather's bloodline? Would they carry Sharingan or be odd like the rest of her family? Would they be strong or weak? So many questions flowed in as quick as the moving tide at sunset. Still even in his arrogant ways that blue mare was quite beautiful to look at. Nothing like that pink haired girl from his past. She annoyed him to no end honestly, well her and the girls that cooed and fawned over him. He was left alone and yet every damn girl in town wanted a piece of him. Honestly, what was with that garbage anyway he grumbled to himself. He was merely a boy striving to be the best among a world of idiots.
Letting his thoughts shift back to her, he finally drifted away from his past. Snorting me moved in closer to inspect her belly noting how full she was becoming.
"I see..." he said inhaling the sweetness mingled with strength this mare held deep within herself.
Sasuke nodded in agreement to her standards yet he was cold and almost unfeeling stepping away with not so much as a breath upon her right flank. Showing admiration and love was weakness and Sasuke would never show such a thing. He was much more stronger then his parents ever were and his own children would be even stronger in his passing. There was no room for error nor was there room for weakness. His name was known by everyone and even upon his death would it be revered with in his offspring in their eyes.
"Good. Then my revival plan is going as it should" he spoke to the wind rather then to her, "Are you eating right and watching where you tread? Being a ninja you should know the consequences to being careless Kunai."
He was blatantly cold but he knew she understood why and accepted his decision on things. It was Naruto that wanted to be less demanding of her when she was training. That was weakness in the stallion's eyes for direct training and persistence is what got a job or task done. Not love and compassion like others believed within. No, Kunai had grown through blood, sweat, and a lot of tears. She had grown well to know what pain was and disappointment, but she never stopped trying. Her own foolishness recovered her strength therefore creating an equal to match in his decision for reviving a clan.
He would of contemplated more but the mysterious arrival of a strange colored crow caught him off guard. It deliberately sat there on her rump eying him with a strange [removed](that is if birds were capable of that sort of thing). It taunted him practically the way it never dropped its stare from Sasuke. He snorted pawing the ground in disgust then blew outward in a mocking gesture towards the newcomer. Seeing it not move itself from "his" mare he glared at it. Noticing Kunai's attention was on the bird was enough to annoy the hell out of him. Stretching his neck forward he meant to intimidate the beast snapping his teeth with a snort.
If this crow was meant to bother him it was doing a fabulous job.

Kunai's interest was on her feathered companion yet her mind wandered to Sasuke, seeing how stiff he was portraying himself. He seemed pleased that the deed was set in stone and yet she wondered what he really thought behind that hidden confidence within himself. Perhaps he was just the opposite wondering what lie in store burning into ashes much like the past that preceded him. Was this a mistake they fumbled into much too quickly, reaping the outcome she wondered deeply to herself. Whatever he was thinking was now positioned and set toward the crow that was taunting him.
"Caw... caw..... LOSER!" the bird spoke as it taunted the stallion.
Kunai's eyes widened knowing if this crow kept up her shenanigans then both of them would be in serious trouble. She turned to look at the stallion then the bird. Odd how its coloring was much like her own in a way. Perhaps that's why it chose to sit and taunt Sasuke. Wiggling her form she hoped to loose the bird before it made more foolish taunts to the angeni who eyes gleamed blacker then ink when light shown upon it.
"Caw CAW.... Loser! Loser! LOSER! Always a loser! Caw!" settling itself on her rump it firmly dug in deeper sitting on her scrolls now.
Kunai sighed and turned her head, "Please you're making him angry. Can you please stop taunting Sasuke like this?" she practically pleaded and yet she was hoping she'd get the message.
"CAW CAW get lost loser! Not leaving! Mine! Caw!" her vocabulary seemed directed to Sasuke yet in response to Kunai.
Kunai bit her lip and looked at Sasuke, her belly swaying on its own from the precious cargo she carried deep within. Soon they'd arrive.... soon.

Sasuke didn't remember much of that day other then trying to bite the hell out of that pain in the a**. Only to fail of course and nearly cause Kunai and his legacy trouble. So he sauntered off of course in his usual asinine ways leaving Kunai with one message, "Show me when they step out of those baskets. Not before."
Days had passed in which he trained mercilessly. His children would have a real father to look up to. so when that day did arrive Sasuke surely was in for the surprise of his life. Seeing three made him proud until he found out exactly what his plotting for years had procured. Kunai looked so proud standing there he had to cover his guilt in his and attitude. It wasn't his fault they were born female. It was his mistake he choose a mare that wasn't capable of his request. What was he now he wondered? Not only was he a screw up and an idiot because Sharingan, Kyuubi, and Naruto would have a damn field day with this. He stayed away from his family cursing the days of his "mistake"
Instead he hid it well with practicing throwing kunui at trees. He was angry, hurt, and avoided almost everyone. That is till he received a visitor in his disappearance, one he didn't want to face because in fact as angry as he was, Sasuke didn't want to hurt Kunai. After all she did try her hardest for him.
"Dammit it wasn't enough!" he screamed a stallion's challenge at the nearest tree as his hind foot took a chunk off the tree.

"What wasn't? Sasuke sensei something is bothering you. Why have you not come to inspect your bloodline? Did I not do what you asked?" she said quite loudly as tears formed in her red eyes.
She saw his anger and disappointment in those cold eyes. What had she done wrong she questioned back. She'd tried for months and they were finally here. They were perfect little girls too. Carrying his form and grace as one even took very much after herself. But he seemed so unhappy with his creations.
"Sasuke? Tell me what's wrong." she asked tilting her head.
"Its him Kunai. He's the problem... Caw caw." the crow stated sitting on a branch high above the stallion's head.
Kunai frowned looking up at the crow, "Why don't you like him Mizukage? Sure he's a teacher that's hard edged but he's not bad" she sighed shaking her head at the crow.
"Yes he is.... HIS FAULT... Kunai.... HIS FAULT...!" flapping its wings it soared over Sasuke's head nearly clipping his rea with her claws.

Sasuke glared at the crow more irritated then anything as his eyes hinted a faint red of his former life. He would kill that damn bird if it was the last thing he ever did.
"Its nothing Kunai. But that damn bird is getting on my nerves. It needs to roost elsewhere before I severely hurt the annoying thing" he glared pawing the ground with a gaze intent as flying shards of glass.
He snorted with a growl practically ready to take out... what was the things's name anyway he pondered. Heh did it even have a name anyway the moronic thing? What did he care if its colors seemingly matched hers anyway. What was the point in this damned contemplation. He was tired of this run around with his pupil. She was the one that was supposed to come through for him and help regain his legacy and heirs. What good were females? Useless that's what they were... the whole breeding thing was pointless with girls as heirs. He severely underestimated her and finally the blow he'd most likely regret was about to be revealed.
"Liar... Liar... Caw caw.... your fault loser! Your fault" signaled the female crow getting more annoying then ever.
He couldn't keep his cool with this bird around. He was tired of everything as the fates decided to make a mockery of him. Bullshit! He was done with this whole charade. No more would he ever take things as they were. He wanted perfect achievement and he would have it. But first.... that bird had to go. Lunging madly with his teeth snapping he attacked the crow with a vengeance worth then his past hatred. Eyes flickering with madness he came at the crow in turn connecting with Kunai as well. Thrashing his forelegs he attacked like a wild stallion flaring his wings outward in a challenge. Kicking he connected in her shoulder as he reached for the bird. He didn't even blink when he hurt her. Again and again he charged and kept missing while coming dangerously close to hurting the mother to his children more. So enraged was he that he never saw the pain he was causing nor would he of cared if Sasuke killed Kunai right there on the spot. It was their fault... her and the crow together... they had to pay!
Lashing out he barred his teeth biting Kunai in the neck causing her more pain that she cried out kicking in response. Hatred. Pain. Rejection filled his mind and he hated the memories flooding in.
He noticed the child standing by the tree watching and for a moment he hated himself. But his rage was untamed and his fury was beyond control.
"It is her fault that you are her you stupid crow! She couldn't even give me sons like she promised! She is a disgrace to my bloodline as are those females she birthed. I want no more of either of you! Take your mongrels and go Kunai. Out of my sight before I'll do something I regret! Begone!" she screamed lashing at her viciously, "And take that damned bird with you! Go dammit!"

His rage was only the beginning that spiked her fear more then her own thoughts. The only time Kunai had ever sensed this much uncertainty was with the Kalona; known as Kawaran. Only then had she truly thought she'd die for being so brave. Once again in this time she felt the same pang as she watched her mentor transform into a raging nightmare. Slowly she was seeing what caused the pain and anger but stood in complete shock.
Only when the bird she named Mizukage sparked the final mental breaking in Sasuke did she understand why he was that angry and hurt. When the first attack came and damaged her right shoulder that it cracked did she fear for her life. She knew the bird was the cause of this flare up but her assumptions were even further as he kept attacking. He never noticed Chidori standing by the tree gazing up at her father in fear.
As his teeth shredded her neck she screamed now loudly with tears streaming. He was trying to kill her! Lashing back she fought while he circled and lunged kicking out his hooves in hatred. Dancing on two legs she reared up protecting her daughter afraid that Chidori would see her mother killed from his blind rage.
When Sasuke finally admitted his anger and frustration she felt herself go numb. The pain in her shoulder and the bleeding from her neck was nothing compared to the hurt she felt inside. Crumbling she stumbled backwards crying even more now as her body shook.
"No. No! Mizukage leave! Now! Go!" she screamed with her eyes wide in fear. She backed away toward Chidori protecting her from the monster that became Sasuke.
"Sasuke you b*****d! You used me! I did what you wanted! I gave you heirs like you wanted. If you don't want me or my children around... fine! You won't have to be disgraced by us any longer!" she screamed backing to the tree till she reached her precious lifeblood.
"Sasuke!" she screamed again seeing he was gone. Apparently he had chased the crow and forgotten about her. That was just fine for he was no longer a danger to her or Chidori. Nuzzling her daughter she sighed.
"Mama?" she squeaked with tiny tears.
Kunai breathed back a hard breath as her own tears fell. She had to get away from here but where? Sasuke was a monster like that kalona she met so long ago. It wasn't safe here but what should she do? He'd kill his own children if he could find a way. No no.... she had to find them some place safe as she sorted out where to go.
"Celendria! Naruto! What should I do?! " she paced frantically, "I know I'll see Celendria. She'll take all three of you... Chidori" she stood now taller though her shoulder burned.
"Mama I'm scared. Mama" the lil one cried clinging close to her mother.
"Shh Chidori. come we'll get somewhere safe from the bad dream. Its a bad dream hon that's all it is." she spoke with a shaking nothing could ever hide. Nudging Chidori close she nibbled on the lil earthbound child as herself and smiled, "We'll be alright lil Chidori. Come lets find a place where you'll and your sisters will be safe."
Taking Chidori she galloped to the North toward the elders residence praying her wise words would soothe her and her fear. She would figure this out later, for now seeking solace from a dreadful nightmare was the key.

Sasuke chased after the crow only so long before he actually started remembering what just happened. Regret was hitting him that he had done something so incredibly horrible. Gathering himself he leaped to the skies and raced back to the spot where he trained. Landing with a heavy thud he inhaled the air as it began raining.
She was gone.
He snorted trying to remember what he did. Remembering what he said... to her.
She was gone.
What the hell did he care if she disappeared anyway. Let her leave with her rejects for good for all he cared.
"Tsk tsk of great Uchiha. You messed up real good this time. But congrats for getting rid of your only chance to have another attempt at life" he smirked letting those crimson eyes flicker.
"Your choice though Uchiha. Your choice. I'll take my leave before you try mauling me to death." he chuckled then raced off before the angeni could retaliate.
Sasuke stood there in the falling rain not knowing what to do. As the water ran over his strong face he cried for the second time unless of course the rain made it seem that way. Right now let the rain drown his thoughts for they never were good to ponder anyway. It was always like that and would never change.
