I get natural shampoo for my dog, yet I can't seem to find any for myself. Products that are labeled as natural have maybe ONE natural ingredient in them. They all contain chemical sudsing agents which are mostly known carcinogens, amonia and other nasties.

I think I might have finally found some decent shampoos but I will have to order them and they're not local.

This one looks good

and this website seems to have good stuff.

Thanks to punkarama, I have ordered a whole bunch of skin care products from Rocky Mountain but they don't have any shampoos cry

well I ordered the terressentials one. Reading the ingredients it seems like the best one I was able to find. I mean it's all natural AND certified organic. Can't wait to try it.

I've used Pure & Natural for about four years now. I love it. The only downside is that it has no sudsing ingredients which was never a problem until now - I have incredibly hard water which = no suds at all. I've met the guy who runs the business and he's top notch. 3nodding

I don't normally purchase online, but I have from this site:

Let us know how the shampoo went.

Well at least that Pure and Natural is located quite a bit closer. Maybe I'll try them next. I don't go through shampoos that fast though, despite my long and thick hair, I usually use a bit and wash my hair every 2-4 days. Then again with a natural shampoo I might feel comfortable washing it more often.

Edit: That pure and natural is looking good now that I found out it will cost me 25 bucks in shipping for an 11 dollar bottle of shampoo!

Depending where you live, you can get Pure & Natural at Save on Foods. (And other random places where you wouldn't expect to find it.)

I usually find that a bottle of the Pure & Natural lasts many months. Since I have short hair, I can get away with washing once a week. You can try ordering the variety pack which has the shampoo, conditioner, body wash and the skin cream. That way you get a great idea of what the product is without shelling out lots of money. (Most people don't like his stuff because they're use to the sudsing effects that drug store brands offer. I love the cream and it's the only cream I use, but people, again, like to have that "layer" feel. This cream is very water like and absorbs into your skin rather than sitting on top of it.)

I'm constantly bouncing around with hair care options. Most commercial products don't work that well. I've experimented with no-poo to mixed results. Making my own hasn't worked out well.

I currently use Lush's solid shampoo bars. Particularly the cinnamon one. Not exactly the best but the solid bars last a long time and i like the way it makes my hair nice and cinnamony smelling.

Shampoo in a solid bar? I have never heard of that....learn something new every day.
I'm lucky - the natural food/vitamin/funky food store near me has choices for natural and/or organic personal care products.....I think they have Pure and Natural but haven't tried it.
I have mainly used a brand called Aubrey Organics, which also has lotions and hair gel.

So after ordering shampoo as well as some other skin care products online. I discovered today there is a store near my house that sells Jason shampoo and bath products gonk It's a store that expanded and I never thought to look there because it's just a normal supermarket, they barely even have organic food.

So what do you guys think of Jason products

I used Jason for a while, it smelled really good and made my hair soft... I'm going to need to pick some more up of that when I get to the natural food store in town smile

So it's the real deal? I mean it's all natural. Because some companies claim to be all natural but are far from it.

Okay, I got my Terressentials shampoo in the mail this week. At 13 bucks for shipping and just seeing the amount of stamps on the box, as much as I like it. I don't think I'm gona order it again. Which is a shame because I really like it crying
Tried it this morning. It was a lil out of the ordinary to have NO lather at all. But the end result seems amazing. Granted I think I need to use it in combination with a conditioner cause it's hard to run my finger's through, but it's soft, smells great and I wore my hair down without having to straighten it xd No fly aways AT ALL. I know I've only used it once, but to anyone who lives in the US. I would definitely recommend it already!

Here's a nice list of sulphate-free shampoos. Personally I just bought Organix Coconut shampoo and conditioner and I love it. Some of the reviews say it made people's hair feel dry or like straw but that's BS. I've used Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap as shampoo and that makes the hair feel dry even with a good conditioner. This stuff makes my hair soft, easy to comb through and it smells great. I haven't tried any of the other Organix products yet but I probably will once my Coconut is gone. It's relatively cheap and you can buy it in most supermarkets or Wal-Mart.

Hey Crazy Cat and pirhan, what scents of Terressentials Pure Earth Hair Wash did you try? Which did you like best if you got the variety gift set?

I'm leaning towards Sultry Spice or Left Coast Lemon. I don't use lavender products even though they smell so great because lavender can raise estrogen levels and I just got mine balanced.

I wanted to bump this up because after using the Organix Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner I tried the Pomegranate Green Tea and it is amazing. I reviewed it at Amazon here.
