Its come time that the current queen of Antianeira pass over the reign to her daughter and heir. However, things won't be going as smoothly as the pride could hope...

A group of males, finding out there is an entire pride of females unprotected without a single male to defend them, has decided the pride is ripe for the plucking. I mean, a whole pride of females? What could be simplier than walking in and setting yourself up as king? And there's plenty of ladies to go around...

The queen, however, won't go down without a fight. Its a simple matter really, to overpower even such an experienced female by outnumbering her, especially given her advanced years. Her daughter is hardly a fight after that and easily beaten and banished from her homeland.

The pride is forced to bow down to their new rulers and bide their time, protecting their young ones and helping them grown strong. Soon enough, the true heir will heal in her exile and return stronger than ever to expel the hated males from the pride of Amazons.

The Players

Antianera:
- Kiuma: queen of Antianeira, killed in the defense of her beloved pride
- Hippolyta: heir, beaten and banished after the shock of loosing her mother
- Twiga & Carnadhiel: leaving with Hippy as her guards
- Pride females: forced to give in to the usurper males, for the safety of their cubs and the desperate urgings of the heir before she fled for her life.

Usurpers:
- Xibalba, Utesaji and his three sons, along with a small pack of hyenas.
- Any males who want to ally with the usurper 'pride'! Still open for those!

Outsiders:
- Females Hippolyta meets in exile, that return with her to oust the males and join the pride, or not join, if they so choose. Still open for these!
- Elly (disguised goddess of tornados): helping out Hippy in the fight
- Ebere: joining Hippy to help, then joining the pride
- Sycorax: helping Hippy in the fight
- Adva: helping hippy, then joining the pride

So, what's this to do with you?

Well, we need a group of males to band together to take over the pride. This will not be permanent, but it will offer lots of rp potential, and maybe even breeding potential.

We also welcome any outsider females that would like to meet up with Hippy and help the poor girl out.

Please! Feel free to post with your ideas and with any lion or lioness you have that you'd think would fit into the plot! Other felines are welcome, though the pride is lioness dominated.

I finally got all the funds for my girlie I was questing for this pride. Her backstory would work wonderful for this plot...so when(if) she gets picked in the custom thingie I will ping her in * nods*

There's a possibility I might have what you need. However, we're a little bit short on lion-power, but I think if more people want in then it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

The attacking force:
2 adult female lions
4 adult male lions
5 adult hyenas (4 females, 1 male)

Basically, the whole attack would be spear-headed by Xibalba. All of the male lions in her little "pride" believe that females are for breeding only, and so none of them would have any problems thinking they could take over an all-female pride. While the idea would be Xibalba's, Utesaji and his three sons would be the usurpers. All of the adult lions involved are warriors, and the hyenas have had adequate practice ganging up on people. XD

I think this could potentially be interesting for the other pride members, since there are two females involved in the plotting, but for this to work we would obviously need some more males. I'm definitely game for doing some recruiting though, if you think it would suit your purposes. <3

and plot it all out in my head before I offer him up. XD

This is awesome! 8D Ceres will not take kindly to this, which makes for sweet RP, and it's exactly what she needs for IC development. <333 *can't wait* Especially having grown up male-less.

I have a boy who miiiiiight take part as a usurper. Need to straighten out some plot, but I'll keep this in mind for him. :3

I'm hoping this will happen soonish, but first, we need the males for it and to get Hippy bred. xP which I'll hopefully have enough rps for soon.

I'm thinking maybe end of may, when the customs are done... or sooner if we have everything set up before that. I don't want too much time to pass and the cubs we have to grow up too much.

I rather like the idea of your group, Chibi. <3 its about the right size for it, and having females part of the group adds a new dimension to it.

I dunno what Katana'k could do for it, really. xD Maybe something will come up? I know Kiuma disappeared on him, she wouldn't have wanted anything to do with him after, and she wouldn't have told her daughters about him, preferring them to see only her as their parent. 'Course, I'm sure he could meet them if he was near the borders and happened on one.

Awesome. <33 I'm definitely game for some sort of temporary alliance between more males and "King Utesaji's" little pride for the purposes of the take over, since I was reading the plot thread in the pride forum and I can see some people have lions they'd like to use too.

I think end of May-ish would be good on this end because of exams and stuff, plus it would allow people to custom some males.

Mm, if it's okay, I'd love to possibly offer Elly (disguised in mortal form, so she wouldn't be using her powers or even telling anyone she's a goddess.) as an outsider to help out Hippy's return? It's been a while for her IC'ly since she's "had some fun" with the mortals, and I think given the ties with that family that she has she'd not be able to help but find it somewhat ironic. She'd gladly jump in on... well, any kind of fight like this that she could, honestly. She's a total roughneck. |D Afterwards she'd just... go back to her own life, whether or not they'd ever find out who she is I don't know and I somewhat doubt but-- it sounds like a fun plot.

I'd want to discuss and plot with Iris too but-- yeah. Just putting this offer out there tenatively.
