MAGICAL MOTHERS’ DAY CONTEST!
Every Haven’er receives five House points for entering.
Your entry can be a poem, banner, or TekTek avatar. Show your creativity by picking which one you want to do, as well as which mother in the Potterverse you want to honour! (More than one person may do an entry pertaining to the same parent.)
Post your entry in this thread by Mother’s Day, the 10th of May, and include your name and House with your entry. On Mother’s Day I will add a poll that lasts for one week so that members of the Haven may vote for which entry that they like best, and the poll will determine which member wins 3,000 gold and an extra 10 House points. If there is a tie, then I will add another poll including only the entries with the most votes.

Katie and Gina, thanks for being the first entries! razz You forgot to say what Houses you're in. I actually know that Katie is a Hufflepuff and Gina is a Ravenclaw, but everyone is supposed to state their House in case I don't know so I don't have to look them up in addition to everything else.
I did say "or," didn't I? Yes: poem, or banner or avatar. There are no rules against having more than one as long as they pertain to the same mother; it may increase your chances of people voting for you. I simply wanted to remind everyone that you do not need to do more than one in order to enter. whee
