It seems that you need to branch a little bit. Life is meant to be lived. Work is not the only aspect.

Well seeing as how my options or work my a** off and get to afford enough to live or don't work my a** off and die under a bridge somewhere. I'll just keep on going.
The life you talk about is for people who aren't poor.
We don't really get a choice. Life is never about enjoying it or having fun. For us it's always trying to keep ourselves fed and warm.

I can understand that. I worked full-time until I was finally unable to work anymore due to injuries. But, your wrong. The life I talk about is for everyone, you just need to look. To search, to dream of something bigger. I've been homeless before, it's not cake walk... But that's just how things are.
Everyone have a choice. It's whether or not you look for that choice, or give the choice any thought that disables you.

This one's getting serious... Life is life work or not we live to survive... Every thing in this world is not for free... That's why we work to be happy...

Yeah I don't have a choice. I have to work and I have to take care of my family. It isn't easy. I can't just stop because I feel like playing around instead.

I'm not saying one shouldn't work. Just saying you need to balance it with fun and free time or you'll burn out and be of no use to anyone.

I live in California, USA. There are magical gumdrop trees and unicorns and every time you smile, a rainbow craps a baby. No lie. :D
