Riulve had decided whether or not Hatty wanted to, they were going to go out for a while. She wanted to go out, nay, needed to go out and escape the madness for a while and perhaps get some alone time with her beloved. The arrangements needed to be made as, apparently, Wynni had made other plans and was unavailable to watch after the one child that needed watching most, Puck. Due to some sort of serendipity, Riulve discovered that Ebony, too, could watch after children. Puck had, since meeting her, talked about the purple spawn none stop.
Thus the shifter had an option. Ebony was called upon and arrangements were made and rules were gone over. Luckily there were not a whole lot of rules other than if she could work something (like the TV) and Puck wanted to watch it, to go ahead. All Ebby needed to do was keep an eye upon the slightly unpredictable tentacled runt.
Riulve was sure her son would behave ... alright around the other spawn he seemed to constantly talk about.
"You're gonna be good, right?" Riulve queried the small boy before her as he gazed about himself. The tall woman had dressed elegantly but comfortably for the outing. Being pregnant didn't often lend well to wanting to go full out for outings.
Puck paused a bit, Nicht-tentacoo nodded while Ziiba-tentacoo just neglected to answer at all and the boy himself shifted a shoulder as his wide eyes peered up at his maternal unit, "Guess so?" he gave a charming boyish smile. "WHENSHEGONNAGETHERE?!"
Riulve sighed and shook her head at the answer as she reached down and tapped the boy's nose, "You will and soon." The shifter stated firmly as she straightened and moved to look at a clock.

Ebony arrived a short while later, wearing her overalls and a t-shirt. She was chipper and cheery, excited to meet the little boy over again. Miss Riulve was very nice and deserved to have a good time with her lover, particularly given how much time she spent having to watch children and all. And Wynni needed her time out alone.
The girl fiddled with the ends of her hair, back in braids she tended to wear when dealing with little kids, and she idly ran a hand over her bag, which a few odds and ends that the preteen felt she might need on this trip.
Knocking lightly on the woman's door, she grinned, bouncing a bit on her toes. This was going to be interesting, to say the least. The small boy had been very energetic and playful last she'd seen him.

The woman was quick to answer the door, "Ahh! Here you are good, good. I see you are going through a growth spurt, pup. You were much smaller when last I saw you." She gave a small chuckle as she waved the dark haired girl into her home, "I have went ahead and made dinner for the both of you, it is still warm on the stove, sorry if you don't enjoy it. Simple mac and cheese, it is all Puck will eat right now."
Puck was quick to appear when he heard his mother talk to someone, "EH-BEE!" He called out as he came running down the entry hall to greet her. "Hihihihi!" He stopped short of running to her, just barely.
Riulve uttered a small hiss of caution, "Be careful, Puck," she chided. While they could replace much within the home she didn't want to have to replace Ebby as the sitter for the night if she got hurt with more than a bump or a bruise. "Hatty, are you ready?" She called up a set of stairs. The shifter was ready to go, "Any last moment questions?" Riulve asked curiously as she turned back to Ebony.
The small boy stayed faithfully at Ebony's side for the moment, she still held his interest and thus he didn't sneak off to get into anything. Puck danced from one foot to the other excitedly.

Ebby grinned, "Mac and Cheese is fine, don't worry." she replied softly before turning to kneel and scoop the toddler into her arms for a hug, lifting him up. "Hey sweetiepie."
Hatty came down the stairs shortly after her call, fixing his collar. "Yes, sorry, I had to change shirts. The other one had a hole I didn't realize was there." he explained, grinning cheerily to the girl and waving a bit.

Riulve nodded as her arms crossed over her chest as she watched Harriet wander down the stairs. She nodded approvingly as she moved to pick up her coat and purse and then offered her hand to Hatty, "We'll leave you to it, then." The shifter announced but she paused a moment, "He doesn't have to be sleeping when 'bedtime' rolls around but make sure he isn't watching television around that time. Nothing good comes on late at night anyhow. Just make sure he is in his room, and play a small game with him if we aren't home by then," The woman was uncertain how late they would be and so she had to make assurances.
The small boy allowed himself to be lifted and gave her his best hug, even Ziiba joined in on the hugging while Nicht would have nothing to do with it, seeming to refuse to touch Ebby, but that was nothing against her, it just seemed to avoid contact with just about anyone other than its host. "Pfft, there's plen'y good on teevees at night, Ebby, mom just doesn't like me seein' fun stuff." Puck pointed out in a matter-of-fact tone.

Ebby giggled and pat the boy on his head. "All right, Miss Ri. You and Mr. Harriet have a good time." she told the woman with a smile before returning her attentions to the boy.
"Mm, I don't think there's many fun shows on, but that's just cause I don't like most shows. But I'm sure we can find games that are more fun than those. Anyway, let's worry about that later."

Puck squirmed faintly within the pre-teens arms excited to show her around at least to the kitchen. He was hungry! "Okay! Dinner now, macandcheesycheese!" He called out happily as the boy attempted to keep his tone at an indoor voice level and failing slightly. Then suddenly, "Games did you bring? Did you bring colorin' books?"
"Oh, oh! Can we play Pretend?" Puck liked to play pretend it was a favorite game of his as of late.

"I did." she replied cheerily, as she let the boy down and took his hand so he could show her to the kitchen. "And sure we can. But dinner first so we don't get anything too messy. Cause if we get things messy then we have to clean up and cleaning up's not as fun."

"Yay! What kind of games and colorin' books?" Puck asked conversationally, as if it had all the importance in the world. He reached up and took a hand of hers as he led her to the kitchen. It wasn't an incredibly long walk but it did take them by a couple of key areas of note, namely the spacious living room which would be ideal for playing in.
"Yay! Pretend and mac-and-cheese," The small tentacled boy said cheerfully as he entered the kitchen with his Sitter. "Yah, cleanin' s'no fun," Puck replied sagely.
Two bowls, two spoons, two drinking glasses, and a serving spoon was out on the counter ready for them. A note on the fridge said that they could drink whatever they like.

Ebby thought for a moment, "Hm.....I'll have to check. I did bring some cards with pretty pictures on them, and some really easy board games, but I don't know what kind of coloring books." she replied as the little boy showed her into the kitchen.
The purple skinned female moved to put down her bag and start dishing each of them out some of the 'macandcheeseycheese'. "Is this enough, Puck?" the preteen asked, showing her companion how much she'd put in his bowl.

He nodded a bit, those all sounded like fun. As long as it was fun he and Ziiba wouldn't have to go look for something else to do as they sometimes tended to do when no one seemed to pay attention to them. Nicht, of course, advised against such things, but no one listened to that fuddy-duddy.
Puck stood a bit on his tiptoe to peer into the bowl thoughtfully before he nodded and vocally proclaimed that it was, "s'nough!" he smiled happily up at her as he moved and pulled out a couple of chairs, one for her and one for him. She could carry the bowls over, he decided.

The spawn put the bowls and silverware down on the table for them and moved to open the fridge, peering inside. "What would you like to drink, hon?" the older child asked with a grin, looking over the choices.

Puck looked thoughtful as he crawled up into his own seat with a light grunt as he settled he had come to a decision! "Coffee," he said with a small teasing giggle and then paused before he said, "No, no! Orange juice! Mom hasn't given me orange juice yet t'day! I need vi-tuh-mun Zee!"
He was waiting for her to join him for dinner like a perfect little gentleman.

"Does orange juice even taste good with mac and cheese?" the girl inquired, standing with the bottle, "Usually it makes other food taste weird. Maybe you should drink milk or something now since that tastes good with mac & cheese, but then have juice after?"

Puck blinked at the older girl's query and then suggestion. He hadn't really thought much about the taste of the particular combo other than he liked the flavors of both and had never really stopped to think about the flavors together. Puck's mother just gave him what he wanted no matter how weird it seemed but her suggestion did sound much better than what he usually had and he was willing to try anything at least once, "Yeah, sure, gimme milk 'stead." the small tentacled boy said amiably
