 The black and blue colt trotted about. He was in a meadow; his father (Zakaili) and older brother (Akili) were not too far off from him. Nikolai had been to the meadow maybe once or twice before. Spotting a small, colourful butterfly, Nikolai nickered before chasing after it gleefully.
Unknowingly, he was moving farther and farther away from his family. It didn't really matter; his father and brother would be able to find him relatively easily, they were both flutters...as was his twin. His mom and older sister were regular soqs; like him. Deep in thought, Nikolai didn't notice the small pond of water right in front of him until too late. He'd been so busy chasing the butterfly, and thinking that he ran straight into the small pond. Shaking water off, he slowly trudged back to the grass. "I quit. Stupid butterfly"((Yeah, so...not my best, but I'm not one for starting RPs. XD ))

[[Aww thats okay.I'm not good at all really ;o;]]  The chocolate brown filly was near by all of the flutters.She had been traveling.She didn't like to be away from her family much,but she wanted to get out and do something herself.Meet new soquili,make new friends.She dreamed of making new friends.Maybe today was her lucky day.
Linnie was by the pond and noticed the little colt just walk right into it.She bursted out laughing."Silly!"Smiling she watched the colt."I did something like that once only i ran into a log."Linnie bobbed her head lightly.

Startled, Nikolai looked up at the laughter. He'd never been so relieved that he was so dark; otherwise the blush staining his face would of been rather obvious. "Yeah...didn't mean for that to happen..." He laughed at her story, and shook his head. "A log?! I've never run into a log before!"
He took a good look at the filly, noting that he'd never seen her before. Then again, he hadn't seen too many others in general. "So...who are you?" He tilted his head to the side, he was curious about the female that he had never met. It'd be nice to have a new friend; in his opinion. Hopefully she felt the same way.

She giggled a bit more."I know.You were just having fun."Hopping up and down she smiled."Yeah!I hurt really bad!"Watching him Linnie stuck out her toung playfully.She was one hyper filly.Looking at his skin and mane,linnie nodded."I'm Linnie!Who are you?"Linnie had never met this colt.They both were just born,only from their protection of the baskets.Friends in common is what she wished for.

When she stuck her tongue out, he laughed cheerfully. She was more hyper than he was, that's for sure! "I bet that hurt! I'd rather run into the water!" He looked behind him at the small pond with a grin on his face. "I'm Nikolai! ...but you can shorten it if you want too..." He looked down at the floor, and used his small hoof to kick at the grass lightly. Looking back up, he grinned again. "It's nice to meet you, Linnie!" He looked around the meadow, just to make sure he was still able to spot his dad and brother.

"Water would be better to run into!"She laughed lightly and crossed her eyes playfully.He was sure nice."Nice to meet you Nikolai,Mind if I call you Niko?"It would be hard for her to remember Nikolai.She looked over to where he was looking to."Family?What are they like?"He was different colors than she had.He was black and blue,she was chocolate,brown,cream,and white.

Nodding in agreement, he laughed as she crossed her eyes. She made him laugh. "Niko?" He paused and thought for a second, before nodding. "Yeah! Niko is fine; you can call me that!"
Looking at the brown filly, the newly dubbed Niko laughed. "They're small!!!!! I live with my dad and older brother. Then there is my brother that was born with me...he's like my dad and brother; a flutter. He lives with my mom and sister...who are like me. But, they're family, and I love them." He wasn't lying when he said that they were small. Flutters were the only ones that could change their size. And when his father and brother were their normal size, they were the size of a miniature horse.

"Okay."She smiled at him.He sure was nice.Though,he was much louder than she was.When they got older they would chill out abit more.Linnie giggled,"I live with My dad,Aunty Niele,Uncle Brian,And evil Aunt Zillah"She rolled her eyes at zillah.She hated her."Yiour family seems nice!I have a sister and a brother."

His eyes went wide. "Wow!!! You live with a lottttt of family!!!!!" He only had two family members with him; so, in his opinion, that was a lot. Tilting his head to the side, he inquired "why is Aunt Zillah evil?" And then smiled once more, before exuberantly nodding his small head. "Yeah! They're awesome! Neat! I'm guessing they live with your momma?"

"Mhm.I do i do."She had alot of family.Even though they weren't all of the same moms or dads,she still called them her family."She just is.I guess she thought being bad is a good thing.I'm not sure sure."She smiled and listened to him.Linnie nodded her head a couple times."Yeah.They live with my momma.I look more like my dad."She giggled."I think my brother and sister are prettier and more handsome than me."
