I used to never watch anime ('cept Pokemon years ago, ofcourse) but recently I've been watching a few animes and reading manga. I started watching Naruto a couple of years ago but that was all. Over the last year though, I've watched Berserk, Gantz, Trigun and I've read the Berserk, Gantz and (some of) the Kingdom Hearts manga. Now I'm watching Dragonball and Devil May Cry. It's weird, though. I used to not be able to sit and watch anything on my comp for extended periods of time, or even read any long stuff, but I've spent ages watching and reading stuff.

Well, yeah, but comparitively. You know, what with the sudden change between no anime/manga to all that in a couple of months. 'Cept Naruto. Not gonna watch that in a couple of months.
Anyhoo, should I change the topic name to "I've been nerding it up recently"?

Anyway... you need to watch MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRREEEEE.
hahahahaha. okay, I shouldn't make you more of an otaku as some people view otaku as negative things.
also... many otaku think naruto are for ... erm, beginners. but from where I left off, it was still pretty good. xP

@Shugota: Well maybe it is. It was my first one since I actually knew what an anime was. Anyhoo, I'll get onto FMA at some point. I tend to only watch one series at a time.

Yar, if it's anime ye be wacthin' then ya best be turnin' yer sights on Cowboy Bebop. (Unrelated and unneeded pirate) That's my favorite anime of all time, and Samurai Champloo, made by the same guy, is great too. Dragonball is a classic. My brother is currently collecting seasons of DragonballZ. He loves that show. I can't imagine many kids my age didn't watch that, Pokemon, and Sailormoon when they were young.
I've always been a nerd, though I never stood out as one. Recently I'm finding out me and my family are bigger geeks then I ever knew. No one ever knows what I'm yammering about at school! Sadface... But that's why there's internet, isn't it?
On a side note, my life...It just keeps pulling me back in!!!

Now my rate of watching anime has dwindled. Haven't watched an ep of Dragonball for a few days.
Jesus, how many people here have lives? Should I be getting myself one too?

This is still the mandatory kind of life I'm living. I'll be back to zero life points by summer.
Soooo, unless you want one you shouldn't need to worry about getting a life until society starts chasing you with a pitchfork.

It seems unlikely that it will. Everyone at school calls me Jesus and they actually kinda take it seriously. Everyone knows I don't reall think I'm Jesus but they act like I do. Like mah friend, Sarah, was asking what my dad's house was like and I said he doesn't have one. He just floats around in the clouds. This was just one of many similar biblical questions I have been asked.

On a related Jesus note, the closest thing to Jesus in my school was a kid dressing up like him for super-hero day.

Naw. One time a guy asked my name when we were about to play poker and I said Jesus and it just stuck. I'm a modern Jesus though. I'm not like the one for 2000 years ago.
