Ehyup- rants, ramblings and rages. They make the world go 'round! Some would blame gravitational pull of the moon but I say ******** 'em.
Pissed about something? See something that makes you seethe with anger and foam at the mouth, you just can't keep quiet about? Unleash your RAGE, my apprentice! Or maybe you're just fed up with something or other, getting your feelings laid out on the table? Rant about it here. Maybe you're just bored and got nothing really to talk about but so much to say. It's coo, ramble to yer heart's content.
Yaknow da rules. It is in the very nature of the thread to lay out all your ********' anger by using the same ********' swearwords over and ********' over again, so don't feel bad about getting very profane here; we've all read, heard and used it ourselves.

Um, so you guys know I've been dating this girl for the past few weeks, aye? She's beautiful, funny, creative, and pretty much amazing in every way I can imagine. And, as opposed to my last 'relationship,' I honestly feel an inherent need to make her happy at all times, and it breaks my heart to see her unhappy.
So... I went and saw her today, and my worst nightmare opens up in front of me. She says that I'm quite possibly the most amazing guy she's ever met. She's falling hard for me, and all of this.
But I'm leaving Monday, and I won't be back until at LEAST December. And she said that, even though she really wants to, she knows she can't just sit around and be lonely that long. She's had a really bad history when it comes to people she's dated, and she has this terrible self-esteem complex. And I could tell that it took everything she had to say that much, because she was on the verge of losing it.
So I told her that, if she wanted, I would let her go until I got back, as long as she promised to be here when I got back, anyway. And she did. And though it tore me apart (and tore her apart, as I could obviously tell), we kind of broke up temporarily.
And I'm just... I don't know, I need to write this so that I can read it, and justify what I've done to myself. I need to know that what I did was the right thing, even though I'm going to be lonely as hell until December.
I guess it all comes down to that old phrase, doesn't it? If you love something, let it go, because if it loves you, it'll come ********.

I dunno, Ranuu. If she's saying she'll wait for you to come back, I wouldn't really call it breaking up. And it wasn't your fault - you have an obligation and you have to leave. In my opinion, you did the right thing.
And we'll see in December just how much she really cares about you, right? There's nothing like a test of a relationship than a period of separation. Just think about what other military families have to go through, and they're actually married and have kids.

I was talking to Alex about this just now, and I honestly believe that the whole "I don't want to be lonely for that long" bullshit is a selfish excuse, so she can go date and sleep with other guys and be able to say she didn't 'cheat' because you 'broke up'.

Alright, I'm raging now.
I was just sitting there, right? Putting together a puzzle, I play 'em on hard and this one is actually a challenge. I was doing good, and then, all of a sudden, it gives me this "server connection is lost" bullshit. ********! Tried to reload the page, showed me the puzzle I was doing, same as it was, then bam! Select a puzzle.
What. The. ********. I don't even wanna do a puzzle anymore. stare Lanzer is getting a 30-ot fulla rock salt for this one.

I was supposed to get my hair trimmed Friday, okay? Now, it was down past my shoulder blades and it's taken me a while to get it that long - and it's the longest it's been in years. So, I WANTED THE LENGTH.
She wanted to take off a little less than an inch - showed me how much - and mom and I agreed, since mom could see better than I could.
She cut it to my shoulders. Over five ********' inches just hacked off.
I'm so ********' pissed. And upset. I don't necessarily mind short hair, but I didn't WANT short hair, I wanted it LONG.

I feel Fubar's pain now. I went to get my own hair cut. I've been growing it for eight years. EIGHT. ********'. YEARS. Went to get it cut to shoulder-length.
It's past shoulder length. It don't even touch my shoulders. SHORT HAIR! I'm freakin' out here, I can't even pull it back anymore. gonk

I'm scared to get mine cut.
My sis and my mom want to get it "styled". I'm thinking about it. I just want to get my bangs cut a LITTLE shorter, at least.
But my hair is like.... to my waist. Would probably be longer if I straightened it.

It doesn't really look that bad, but it's the POINT. And styling is fine, as long as you make SURE THEY UNDERSTAND YOU DON'T WANT IT ALL CUT OFF.

"Style" is a term they use to mean "make it look ********' ridiculous so that you'll cut it." And whatever you do, don't get it cut in layers... stare Worst ********' haircut I ever got in my life.
