You know, Collide and Comatose are actually tied for my favorite album....
I love them both!
As for Collide, this is why I like it.
Forsaken had amazing lyrics, and it is pretty hard!!!! LOVE!!!
Savior, is amazing as well, mainly because of lyrics!

Open Wounds is great because it gave alot of people something they could relate to with Skillet, which brought them to listening to more songs, which in many cases, changed lives. I have read many stories mainly about Open Wounds and The Last Night, sometimes both.
A Little More is a great song when you want to slow it down but still have something to rock to... It helps when you fell like the world is going to end...
My Obsession is one of my favorites because of many things. I love how hard it is, and the lyrics basically describe my obsession of Skillet. Haha....
Collide happens to be my favorite Skillet song live. Rebirthing is my fav song overall, but Collide had to fit in somewhere because Collide is the song that has awoken a new part of me. The line in Collide that I love most has to be, "When fath and fear collide". I don't know why but that sounds amazing. Collide is an amazing song that I can't stop listening to, literally.
Fingernails is cool because it has a weird tune, you know! Plus the lyrics are pretty 'getcha thinkin' style!
Imperfection is another favorite of mine. I love the lyrics and how they show people that in Gods eyes you are beautiful no matter what anybody else thinks. I love the line, "Every breathe we take dealing with our own skeletons"
Then to finish the song leaving the listener knowing they are not alone, "You're not the only one, you're not the only one drowning in imperfection."
Under My Skin is ok, but it lost it's complete awesomeness. I like how it says, "COuld I dissapear" and such, and its a great song, just not a FAVORITE.
Energy is full of energy. (Haha, I know) I like how it uses words like "Enigma" because it made me go and learn new words!!! YAY!
Cycle DOwn is great too, because not only do the worlds tell a story, so does the tune! Notice the guitar in the part where it sounds like its going down then up, it takes twice as long to go back up than it did down. Basically saying its easy to fall but it takes time to get back where you where. Plus the lyrics always say that God help us from our fall.
Well that is the overview of why I like each song. I will bring some vids and pics later. Too many of those.

i have to say i like comatose album better than collide
i even like the song comatose better than collide even tho i do love the intro to collide i like the lyrics to comatose better smile

Collide is the first Skillet album I got, and I listened to it a lot. I love the hardness of it.

Well, Collide is definitely my favorite album. It's the hardest, but its still not too hard.
As for a favorite song, I have to choose Forsaken. I used to always skip over it but once I finally listened to it I realized how awesome it is. Another of my favorites is Open Wounds. biggrin

this is gonna be random but..... has anyone ever seen this picture??  I found this extremeley humorus, though no one else does >.> I mean c'mon 'Skillets Collide' XD eventually im gonna make an animation of two skillets running at eachother after going super sain yelling skillets collide! XD I know its stupid and sorry for taking up so much space but I couldnt find a smaller picture sweatdrop

will colide is a good CD but i thank i like comatose and awake better i like this CD (colide) its skillets 1st hard rock/metal CD thats why i like it too

Collide I feel talks about personal pain, everyone and everything is against you.
Comatose, I would say is about loving, hating, and trying to understand what god is to us.
My favorite of the two is Collide. The song Collide WAS on my pro, if it wouldn't keep disappearing so much. My favorite album so far, AWAKE. Favorite song from it, One Day Too Late.

my obsession is the best song on that album for me. it totally describes a proper relationship with god and reminds me tht i should strive to be that way with him!

I'm going to be completely honest here, I find it kinda funny when John Cooper tries to Screamo in the songs Energy, and Open Wounds. I am more of a Comatose and Awake CD lover myself.
