I gotta go with Tina/Terra for this one. The main reason is the fact that she suffered so much until she came to terms with her powers and her heritage, and yet she was still strong throughout that time. I also love the idea that she's almost strictly a magical fighter. She does unsheath her sword during those exchanges in the air, though, and it shows that she doesn't just rely on her magic to win...

So, is this "favorite Dissidia hero" or just "favorite main character"? I can't exactly judge them from Dissidia, having not played it, you know. confused
Just going by what I know of the characters, though... Zidane. I love many of the others, but Zidane's just great. He's heroic and virtuous and all that good stuff that I love, but he's also so much fun. Then there's the whole [Angel of Death] thing, which is just so wonderfully awesome, plus kind of ironic.

I found the 'Warrior of Light' the best out of the ten... mainly cause he's adaptable to any situation and he looks the part!
Either him or Squall - he's my personal fav, ever since I had eyes on him in the first cutscene... sighs...

Wait...is this a favorite character thread or a better character thread? o_รต
I haven't played the *sniff* game yet so I cannot judge any gameplay with the characters.
Though the character(s) I am excited to play with is Luneth. (and sephiroth)

But alas, it's not actually Luneth... Just "Onion Knight." It looks like Luneth, but I'm pretty sure that's just because Luneth was based on the original designs. If it were him, Luneth would have been among my favorites, but the original III characters had about as much character as the original I characters...

Hmm, if it's the character I'm most excited to play, probably Warrior of Light. His design looks awesome, and I hope his fighting is just as cool. ^^
