how about for a start, you invite some members to vj playlist. set up some videos or amvs. while we get to know each other (and mst the videos biggrin ), then went can talk about whole guild get togethers. that way you can sound out a couple of people at a time. and get a little rp ex. smile

Maybe you should give people an basic explanation of roleplaying. I already had one person ask me what it is. I know it sound self-explantory, but some people need the clue smile just an idea.

Nekoranma brings up a good point.
Here's a basic explanation of roleplay, for those who don't know:
You create a character and post the actions and thoughts of that character in an environment where other people do the same and interact with you charater
Eg:
Jo: "Hi Bob, how are you doing?" asked Jo scratching his head. Bob: "Whassup Jo." answered Bob and did a little dance
That's roleplaying in a nutshell

thak you that is a better decription of roleplaying. most people use different signs for actions . i use the <> ex.
<-- raises hand "i have a question."
basic roleplay has you scripting you actions along with your words. smile i find in the thought bubbles that <> works best for me. but ask around there might be a better action for you.
hope this helps to get people inthis guild ready for the roleplay event.
thankyou for you time neko

Actually, Nekoranma1, that's a very ameture version of RPing. Good for beginners, but not people who are seriously dedicated, like me(I have no life outside of writing, if you're feeling inferior). This is more like an RP...
((This is the OOC, or out-of-character bit. Example:The following post is of one of my characters. This isn't, however, an actual post I've made. It's too short for my average size post.))
Ryu peered out from the keyhole. She had just picked the lock, and was on the lookout for anyone who would catch her. Seeing no one, she opened the door into the sudden light, and, after blinking once or twice, scuttled down the hallway. She was free, free, free.
((This is the next person's post. Again, this is not an actual post.))
Ren glared at the woman leaving the house. Thought she could leave, did she? Well, he'd see about that soon enough.
Hiking the sniper rifle onto his shoulder, Ren's golden eyes set the little red dot on her head and he got his arm ready to fire...
Krack.
The sound of the gunshot rang in Ren's ear, and before the wittnesses could find him, he was off, zooming through the door and scuttling down the stairs. Oh, yes, that girl would apologize for her mistake in the afterlife...

An interesting point to note is: Do your research, and have your character WELL developed.
Case in point: Ixpath, the last remaining Archmage of Necromancy, turned himself into a unnatural abomination with the use of terrible magics.
He already was sociopathic, but with his newfound powers he turned to serial killing or just plain mass murder. Eventually, the rest of the Immortals discovered he watched his wife and children get butchered in front of him, and, with everyone blaming him, attempted to commit suicide. He has gotten his revenge, but he still cannot die.
