Well, look where you've ended up. You're a ward of the state now. You have to share a room with one or two other kids. But hey, it's your first day. So get to know those around you, and choose a bunk. There is a Foster Mother, and a Foster Father, a Foster Granmother, and a few Foster Aunts and Uncles, but for the most part, you can just ask one of the older kids for advice; if you don't understand something or get lost.
The home is more of a ranch. There are three buildings. One for the older girls, one for the older boys, and one for the younger children. Social workers and parents hoping to adopt are a common sight, so don't worry about getting to know everyone.
