Celestial slowly pushed open the glass door. It felt heavy for some reason, it was probably just because she felt so tierd. Sighing she closed the door gently and walked up to the coat rack. Ripping off her black gloves she threw them to the ground and set the hook of her parasol on the rack.

Looking down at her tight dress, black and gray, the colors of sorrow and despair. Celestial wished she could just rip it off, but she didn't have anything else with her. Biting her lip, Celestial made her way to the plants. One flower was drooping among it's peers. Feeling sorry for it, Celeste touched it's blue petal. A slight tingle in her arm said that her healing magic had activated, but Celestial didn't mind.

Power descended her arm, flowing into the dying flower. At once it's stem straightened, it's petals uncurling. Oddly enough, this sensation wasn't very taxing, it actually sort of felt good. Sighing, Celestial removed her finger, leaving the flower there, tall and strong, fitting in with all her companions. Celestial wished someone could do that for her.

Feeling intensly lonely, Celeste took small restrained steps, partly caused by her dress, and went to a rubarb plant. Smiling she touched it and watched it's stalks grow stronger and thicker, it's leaves become greener. This effort was more taxing then the flower had been. Seeing a bench, Celestial sat down, arranging her dress around her feet.

Jumping slightly, Celestial looked up at this person. Glancing at the map in his hand, Celestial brightened up.

"Hello there, you must be new here. I'm Celestial and I'd like to welcome you to Ria high school."

She had done this with so many people in her year here at Ria, she stuck her hand out for a handshake, then imeadiately stole it back, holding it in her other hand. Blushing for her rudeness, Celestial quickly stammered something of an apology.

"Um, sorry.. I just can't... touch anyone at the moment."

Wincing she got up and tripped as she tried to move. She had forgotten that she still wore her halloween costume! Looking down at the black material, low cut and tight against her body, up until her knees where a black sating ribbon held the bottom together. It then spilt into a flared out gray lace, giving her minimun movement capabilities.

Blushing once more she slowly let her hand drop to the black satin ribbon and grabbed the gray lace fan.

"I'm sorry if I look, weird, it's just I came from the halloween dance and all, I still havent changed out of my costume. Any how, I'm Celestial, call me Celeste tough."

Cursing slightly she glanced over at the coat rack, where her black gloves and her parasol waited. Looking at them she figured that the parasol would make her costume more clear instead of making her look like a slut.

"I'm supposed to be wearing one of those older dresses.. but without the parasol it looks stupid."

Touching her pinned up hair, she also remembered she could change herself at will. Sighing she simply tought about it and a purple light shimmered around her and then dissapeared, leaving her sheer black hair in it's normal hair do. Loose to the back of her knees with small mini-braids scattered throughout it. Her purple eyes were no longer accented by a thin line of black eyeliner. Her dress was gone and was replaced by baggy black pants with a couple chains and a black tank top, that still clung to her form but revealed much less.

Smiling, her confidence back with her old clothes she sat down easily, making enough room for him and still able to leave enough space between them so she wouldn't touch him.

"You don't have any wounds at the moment do you? Like brusises, scabs, cuts,scrapes, or even old scars?"

Her idiotic blushing and clumsiness gone with the dress, as she was not comfortable in them, Celestial then proceeded to correct herself without fumbling.

"It's just you know. the reason why I can't touch things. And why can't you touch people?"

Being genuinely curios, Celeste glanced at him, while slipping up a pant leg to reveal a boot made of sturdy black leather and something looking suspiociously like a sheath stuck in to it. Putting her hand inside, Celeste casually withdrew a small dagger from a different pocket, still leaving the black hilt of the other thing in place, and brought the dagger into her lap, sharpening it on the chains.

The dagger was no simple thing, it had a normal black hilt but it also contained a piece of an amethyst enclosed in it. Celestial was quite fond of it and kept it sharp, though she barely ever needed to fight anymore.

Stopping her continuous grinding, she began to flip it through her fingers with practiced ease, not even nicking her skin as it danced skillfully around her hand. Celeste thought this skill useless, but fun. Plus it was an excellent way of testing the balance of a blade.

Celestial tilted her head at the odd word. A werepheonix.. that sounded interessting. Like a werewolf qwith heat problems? Smiling she simply watched as he removed his glove. His hand was hot, but she could probably stand it, Fire was the element she had mastered first.

"You can heal?" Now that, was interesting, "I used to be able to, but then my patron goddess stripped it from me for no reason. Just now though, I got it back in full force, but also stronger. It's pure with no faults and an amazing potency.. and it destroyed all my control. Whenever I thouch something with only the slightest hurt, it rushes from me, trying to heal whatever it is, and I can't hold it back. It drains me, and if something was hurt bad enough, I could die from it."

Sighing she stopped her dagger, it was balancing perfectly on the tip of her index finger, blade down. A small pool of crimson liquid appeared around the tip, Celeste just flung the dagger into the air, grabbing it blade down and shoved it back inside her boot.

Celestial kept her calm demeanor, now in comfortable clothes that she could move easily in. Standing up, she slowly carresed a leaf of a small lettuce plant, it imeadiately grew slightly, it became greener and the leaves more firm. Smiling slightly Celeste moved on to it's neighbour.

"So what's your story?"

Celestial listened to his story, showing no emotion as she healed the plants, feeling a twitch less strong each time she healed. His story was quite interesting, her's also contained a rape.. but one far less holy. Feeling sad all of a sudden she quickly banished the thought, she would not back down! she would not have self pity, it was only something a child would do.

But at least he was accepted...

Damn that treacherous voice. A word came out of Khale's mouth, lullaby, that she couldn't resist. Cracking a smile she turned to him and shook her head, the small smile still plastered on her face.

"Sounds like you had it bad huh?"

Celeste walked over to Khale and gently touched his glove, feeling no drain of her healing magic she made a tugging gesture on it and looked up at him.

"May I?"

Looking back down at his glove she smiled. After his permission she once again touched it and then she slipped it off. The hand seemed human enough, but she could feel the heat radiating from it.

"Does it hurt at all? Or are you some sort of child of flame that it feels normal."

Celestial had known one or two children of the flame, they were quite interesting. Celestial envied them with an almost physical yearning. They were immune to the cold and immune to the heat.

To be free of the cold on her skin, the chill on her spine wherever she went, it would be bliss. Celeste just got cold too easily, and always used some flame magic unconsciously to warm her.

Nibbling on her lower lip, Celestial debated if she should touch his hand or not. Deciding to risk it she slowly extended her fingers. Her long fingers slowly touched his palm. A small furry sensation entered her hand and slowly trailed up her arm and into her whole body.

For once in her life she felt truly warm, not just something magically created by herself of others, she just felt warm. Sighing she slowly closed her eyes and enjoyed the sensation, knowing it couldn't last forever.

Blinking, she quickly withdrew her hand, then felling bad for doing so. Her body went back to it's unnatural coldness, it was always this way. Sighing she looked up at him and smiled sadly.

"If only it was that way for others."

Shaking her head she remembered everyone she wished she could make that way, like Joy, especially Joy. Shaking her hand slightly, she tried to stop the small tingle, it felt as if she was being drained but she felt totally normal.

Slowly she went to a small tree, one Iosha had probably planted here to help it survive. Carefull she touched the tiny roots of the tree and watched it grow a couple inches, it's stem now firm and growing thick as it became a trunk.

Feeling drained from her effort Celeste slowly sunk to the ground, her back supported by the planter. Examining her hand Celestial sighed. It was covered by dirt and her fingernails were broken. Slowly she ran her finger over the tops of her nails and a line of purple followed, clipping the nails to their normal strength and size.
