About!
Welcome to the thread, glad that it sparked your interest.
So basically, this thread is to elect the Member of the Month and the Crew Member of the month.
This thread will list the nominees and entrants of the contest, and hold a voting.
And, I personally, will give the 2 winners each month a prize of either gold or an item.
This could be any price range, and it merely depends on how much gold/what the supplies I have that month are.
I'm going to attempt to give both people the same item, or same worth of an item, if that's the case.
Gold prizes will both be the same ammount if given.
After a year's time has gone by, a Crew of the Year and member of the Year will be elected.
The winners each month will be posted on the guild home page, and the yearly ones will be there as well, for teh entire year.
Anyhow, once again, i'd just like to welcome you to the thread. Please post, chat a lot in here, I want to get to know everyone! Keep the thread alive, and, enter when you're allowed too!
P.S. I will be discluding myself from the contest completely because i'm the one handing out the prizes.

Rules!
Here you now find the rules, please please please, respect and do the rules, enforce the rules when needed and when and if you have the authority to do so.
In this contest, the short game isn't what matters. It's like Chess, what counts is the Long Game.
All cheaters will be turned over to the President or Vice President if caught.
-No mules
-In order to join you must be a member for one month.
-You must have a minimum post requirement of 100 Posts in the guild.
-If you've already won once, and you're just a member, you can't join until next year. So, say you won in April of this year, the next time you can join is April next year.
-Crew members can rejoin after a 6 month period.
-If you've recieved a warning this month, you're not allowed to be in this month's contest. If you recieve a warning halfway through the contest, no matter how well you're doing, you're kicked out until next month from this contest.
-If you're entering, you can never have been banned from this Guild.
-In order to participate you must also post I'm here today in this thread. It should be posted in size 16 font, and Red Color.
-You must post at least once in another thread other than this...or make a thread. Please, do a serious post for this.
-By telling us you're here, and giving us your post coutn in the initial entrey, you're letting us know how active in the guild you are.
-Also You may nominate others in this contest as you please, if they meet the requirements

What you need to Join
-Post Count (This shows your activity and dedication to the guild)
Consecutive Days of Being Online (And I know it's not always possible to get online, but it also somewhat shows dedication)
-Help towards Guild Members (This can be done by making banners, doing tekteks, doing art so be creative! This doesn't mean to bribe people. Also upon doing this, don't go around saying OH! I made this and this so...It should count. I, and others, are watching you, we know what you're doing. Feel stalked.)
-Kindness towards guild members
-Number of people invited to the guild (These only count if the person joins. There will be a thread for regular members to post invites in so people can join.)
What to base your votes on
Votes:
At the end of the contest, upon the time for voting, i'm going to ask for votes.
In the first Voting:
Members vote for crew,
And crew votes for Members.
In the 2nd Voting:
Members vote for Members:
Crew votes for Crew:
In the 3rd Voting:
We take the 3 members with the most votes
We take the 3 crew members with the most votes
And we make 2 threads outside this thread, one for crew, one for members.
Your over all winners will be decided by this.
On each thing, you obviously on choose one member. NO mules.

Nominating is just as simple as joining, merely do the following:

The prize for the crew and the member may be different, but be of the same worth at the time they were placed here.
Donations for prizes would be greatly appreciated. Rather it's in gold form, or item form. But just because you donate, doesn't mean you're going to win something, so don't be thinking of it as a bribe. =/
I, morphine kiss, am not using guild funds for this contest. It's coming out of my pocket, so prizes will vary depending on how much gold or what items I can put into the contest.

Here is going to be a list of noticed good doings, random acts of kindness, that i've seen around the guild, or i've had reported to me by other members. The person's username will be placed here along with what they did.
This helps you get a character judge, in a sense, of the people.
So basically, have you recently seen your crew or members of the guild do something extra special? Donate to someone who really needed it? Do some banners or maybe art for someone? Bribing doesn't count, if you're caught bribing, it's considered cheating, and you're kicked out of my contest for good. But don't fear, i'm not goin to randomly accuse you of bribery if you donate to someone or something.
If you see someone doing a random act of kindness, please let me know VIA PM!

Because it's always handy to have a Q&A around! Any questions asked in the thread will be placed here, as well as maybe common misunderstandments and etc;.
Q: How many times in a year can a member join?
A: Once a year, this helps give everyone a chance.
Q: How many times a year can Crew Member join?
A: Because we have less crew, a crew member can join twice a year. So, if you enter the contest, and win, 6 months after that, you can join again! I guess that's just double the chance of crew of the year.
Q: Can mules be used to vote?
A: Absolutely not.
Q: What are the consequences for cheating?
A: Kicked out of my contest for good, and it will be further discussed with Captain and Vice Captain. You will be thoroughly punished.
