Aludra had been standing outside the church for God-knew how long, just staring nervously at all the little decorations that were scattered everywhere, signs reading 'Activities Inside', and the ever-present carved stone sign that read very clearly 'Visitors Welcome'. Once more, Lironax's crazy dad had left somewhere halfway around the world, his trip funded by Noah's money, which left Lironax in Noah's care. Puh, yeah right. Noah barely took care of them, Adhara was sick; Silas may as well have given Lironax directly to Aludra. Which was also a bad course of action.

Uncomfortable white bandages were still wrapped around Aludra's left ankle where the wing he'd once had was merely a few spare feathers, the entire thing having nearly been torn off when he'd yanked himself away from the doorjamb he'd been dumb enough to slam his wing between. It didn't bleed constantly, but it was definitely itchy. And, of course, when he scratched it, it started bleeding again. Apparently he wasn't the most well put-together if the base of his bizarre limbs couldn't seem to heal properly. Then again, if you tore off a fingernail, that probably wouldn't heal properly either.

Tail wagging a bit at the tip, he finally gathered up the gall to pull his friend into the building, eyes alight by what it looked like inside, making him feel like he'd died and gone to heaven. Or... maybe not quite, but the building was definitely as amazing on the outside as it was on the inside. He gaped slightly, a smile grazing over his features as he glanced over toward his friend, then back toward the front of the church, at the altar and all the decorations that sat behind it. He chuckled softly.

"'Ludra met Humility. Did tell about?" he asked quietly, as though anything more than a whisper would disturb the rest of the building. He hadn't really told anyone about his meeting with Humility. There was little to tell, but he was still so excited about the fact that the angel actually had asked for his friendship. It had been enough to surpass his own humility side for the first time since he was a mere toddler, and actually make him feel... semi good about himself. Enough to earn an angel's friendship...? It was more than he could ever have expected.

"Ary... Where we going? Mummy said we had t' stay home!" Cody whined from the backseat of a deep navy really fancy car that Arytiss rarely drove and wouldn't say what it was.

"You're going to this church activity thing that I saw an ad about. Yes, Shadai said to stay home, but she left me in charge of you and if she thinks I'm keeping you home near my stuff she can think again. You have far too much energy," Arytiss grumbled, wondering why in hell she had to watch him. He was a handful to begin with trying to keep his hands off her stuff and out of her room and not having a second there to entertain him was difficult enough.

"Church?" Cody questioned as the car stopped and Arytiss left. He managed to unbuckle himself from his seat as the door opened. Instantly he froze upon seeing the large building and angelic figures. "Go home now? Pwease?" he asked softly, clinging to his seat. Arytiss just sighed, shaking her head.

"Cody, get your rear end out of my car. You're making some sort of chocolate dessert thing and-Are those more kids from that facility?" the woman suddenly changed topics as she saw a purple wing and tentacle float into view, as well as pink-ish hair and really unnatural skin tone. So, Shadai was telling the truth when she said there were others...

Cody loosened his grip and as soon as he did, lightning-quick hands reached out and grabbed him, dragging his form out of the car and slamming the door shut before he could move. "Now, march up to that building. I'll be back in a few hours, so don't take anything and don't get into trouble or I'm leaving you here till Shadai gets off work. Got it? Now get going," Arytiss warned, returning the glare Cody shot her before walking up to the building, hands stuffed into his pockets irritably. Yet he couldn't do anything now, Ary had her car keys and was leaving already so he was stuck at this really unusual building for who knew how long. Joy.

Not really paying attention to where he was going, the toddler suddenly found himself walking right into something rather soft and immobile. As he looked up, he realized it was one of the two kids that had walked into the church only moments before. "Sorry" he muttered, realizing that they were both a size bigger than him and thus pointless to get angry for them just standing there.

At the feel of something running into him, the wing on Aludra's ankle stretched in surprise, the other ankle's muscles stretching in a certain manner that would have extended the other wing, but instead merely cracked open the wound again and made the little Greed demon wince a bit. That aside, he turned full circle, tail flicking behind him a bit, only for his eyes to widen slightly at the sight that greeted him.

The feather-decorated ribbons that were tied to his halo-crown dangled to the side of his face as he tipped his head slightly. He, himself, wasn't all that tall for a child, Lironax almost his same height, though definitely a little bit taller than he, himself, was. There was something oddly familiar about this boy, though. Even if it was only the hair and the feathers that adorned the ends of it, he was... well, one of them, to say the least. But he had the same pink hair as Aludra, himself, and that definitely wasn't a trait he saw in many people unless it was only a streak. He flicked his tail curiously, bending down to the other's height.

He resembled himself in hair, and had... greenish eyes, as well. Aludra knew that he'd gotten his eyes and feathered wings from Cestoloria, but everything else had come from... his... other father, whose name he didn't know yet. He blinked slowly. So, his hair had come from the Greed demon, that he knew. And Cestoloria had definitely not had blue eyes, which was the other colour in this boy's. Finally, he pointed toward him curiously, the feathers on the end of his tail flaring just a bit. The question was meant to ask, basically, if the boy was as greedy as he'd been. Unfortunately, with his terrible speech, only one word came from his mouth.

"Wants?"

Lironax had stood outside the church by his friend for he-didn't-even-know-how-long-anymore, watching him with a concerned eye. This was one of the few times he could stare so openly at him without getting snapped at: when the Greed boy was too busy paying attention to something else. And he certainly had reason to stare, for his best friend had bandages tied around his ankle, and he wouldn't say why. Or rather, Lironax was a little afraid to ask why; Aludra could get extremely touchy about things when it came to himself. Even though something in him ached to know what had happened, Lir had resolved himself to wait it out. Aludra could tell him when he was ready.

The spawn let himself be dragged into the church without a complaint, smiling lightly at his friend's enthusiasm. Aludra didn't get this way about a lot of things, not even Lir himself. He walked a little closer to Aludra, staring at the wonders of the large church in wonder similar to his friend's. Silas seemed to be extremely anti-religion, as far as Lir could tell, and so this was his first time being in something like this. The reverent atmosphere seemed to affect him to, for he too spoke barely above a whisper. "No, I didn't hear. Was he a really nice ang-"

Lir was cut off by the sight of Aludra spinning around to look at something, and curious, he followed suit. A small smile alighted upon his face when he saw the toddler spawn, whom he found to be very adorable. Even with his featherless bat-wings, he had nice freckles and pretty feathers in his hair. Lironax took a liking to him immediately, much like he had with every other spawn-child he had met. He blinked at Aludra's one-word sentence, and sighing lightly, squatted down until he was also the toddler's height. He donned a kind smile; hopefully this small child wouldn't start crying like that blind girl had.

"What he means is, did you want something of ours?" he asked softly, still slightly struck by the atmosphere of the church. After spending so much time around Aludra, Lironax had gotten used to translating his abbreviated speech for other people. It was practically involuntary by now.

Cody glanced between the two and suddenly saw the beautiful halo on top of the pink-haired child. It seemed to glow and looked far more real than the fake, plastic or fuzzy ones at the store he had been at the day after Shadai had picked him up from the facility to get clothes. He already hated shopping, too many dull and boring things. Nothing had that glow or sparkle that certain items of jewelry or items in Ary's room had...

"Halo, real. Where you get? Not like ones at store..." he asked softly, taking a step back, finding himself a little close to the two older spawns. They didn't look anything like Mimosa or Tykier, except one had a purple wing and thing that looked like an octopus leg... Ah, right, tentlacoo. No, that wasn't right... Tentlycal? No... Whatever, tent-thingy while the other had almost the same hair color as himself and a tail as well as strange white bandages on his one ankle.

"Why?" Cody asked, looking between the two. Why did Ary have to leave him here by himself with all these new, and much older faces? And why was she always so grumpy? He suddenly wished his mother was there, at least she was nice and never growled at him... He didn't feel like crying, but he did feel rather alone, a feeling he absolutely hated and made him want to reach out and take that beautiful halo off the older spawn's head or throw a really loud tantrum. Yet neither would cure the fact that he was alone in a strange place with two new people asking him the strangest questions.

It was surprising when a smile actually crossed Aludra's face, and a cocky one at that. He took the halo off his head and showed it to the other, making sure to keep it far enough away that the other wouldn't be able to grab for it. "At Facility. Friend-Pepper helped steal from techs," Aludra said proudly, nodding once and putting it back atop his head, before going through the ribbon and the feathers attached to it, as well. "Ribbon from sister 'Dhara. White from Ebby, blue from Ty, and gold from Lor, Humility angel," he said proudly, giving a firm nod.

Aludra's smile vanished at Lir's translation of his speech, and he sent a sharp glare at the older patience child, looking back down toward the one who'd just come through the door. He crouched down, feeling much more at ease when he was level with the toddler. "Not what 'Ludra meant. Means..." he pointed to the younger one. "Is Greed-sin?" he asked curiously, tipping his head to the side as his tail continued to wag back and forth behind him. "Like... does want things? All-time?"

Cody blinked and an almost cruel smirk crossed his face. "Good. Techs not nice. Deserve having stuff taken," he said, not bothering to mention that he had fruitlessly tried to taken several things as well. Mostly, the pretty bracelet the tech had on when Shadai came and picked him up.

"Greed-sin? Yes, and patience. You greed too?" Cody couldn't help but wish he had something half as nice as that halo... And it had so many other pretty things tied to it as well. The toddler figured he'd have to sneak into Ary's room again to try and find something even half as nice as that beautiful halo.

"Oh, my name Cody. What's your names?" he asked, guessing the child with the halo was 'Ludra... Or something similar if it happened to be a nickname. He hadn't a clue who the other child was, except that he seemed to be good friends with 'Ludra... If that was his name. Then he wondered what sin and virtue he had to be to get such a pretty purple wing and tentacle...

Lironax frowned slightly at the glare he received, and looked to the ground sadly. He didn't mean to mis-translate, it was just hard sometimes. After all, how could someone - anyone - divine the meaning behind a single word? Still, he didn't raise an issue with Aludra; that was a silly idea to begin with, and besides, the conversation had already gone behind that. Sighing, he stood a little way behind his friend, as interested as he seemed to be in this younger spawn.

It quickly grew apparent to Lironax that this child - Cody was his name - and Aludra were of the same mold, which made sense, given their sin. He smiled at their twin hatred of the technicians at the facility. "Nice to meet you, Cody. That's a nice name. I'm Lironax. I'm a Patience child as well." Still smiling, he addressed Aludra. "It's neat, huh? He's like the two of us put together."

He couldn't say why at the time, but the idea appealed to him greatly. It was like Cody was what would happen if they had a child.

Like a mirror, Aludra's face reflected the very same sadistic smirk. "Surely. Should meet Pepper; is good at making techs run away," he said, giggling a bit. Pepper was probably what he would consider a best friend, next to Lironax. But Pepper was better at not being overly close, or contradicting what he wanted. Whereas Lir... well, Lir didn't seem to listen too well unless certain actions were implemented that made Aludra feel sick inside. Who knew, though? Maybe the boy would finally get the picture and leave him alone.

"Is greed, too," Aludra replied with a bit of a smile and a firm nod. The wing on his ankle gave a bit of a flutter, almost as though it was sad that it's twin had been, more-or-less, murdered by the one who they'd been attached to. His tail flicked a bit more, trying to keep itself off the ground before giving up, partially wrapping around his legs and tapping the ground in a placated manner. He glanced toward Lir, gesturing toward the odd boy as well. "Sin is lust," he added, then pointed toward himself. "Virtue is Humility. Got to meet angel recently. Was just telling Lir'nax 'bout. Wants to hear, too?"

Aludra smiled a bit, still pointing to himself when the question of his name came up. "Name is Aludra By'arre. Can call Alu or 'Ludra, whatever's easiest," he said easily, glancing back toward the altar, where a bunch of kids varying in age were sitting and doing various things, making masks, decorating crosses and, what appeared to be the most appealing, making little cup-things that were full of pudding, oreo crumbs, and gummy worms.

Cody giggled at the thought of the techs running away from someone named Pepper. He had to meet this person if he could scare techs and make them run away. "'Kay, 'nd good idea. Should meet Pepper if I have to go there again. And you met with an angel? Would love t' hear about," the toddler replied, wondering what Humility and Lust were, but not voicing nor acknowledging his curiosity in any way. He could ask his mother later anyways, but he guessed that the lust demon was purple if Lironax got such a beautiful purple wing and tently-thingy.

Upon seeing the other kids doing activities farther inside the church, the toddler couldn't help but wish to join them. It looked like fun making those cup things full of... some brown goop and black crumbly stuff. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was just pudding an oreos... Yummy.

"D'we join them?" Cody asked, meaning the children over by the alter. Arytiss had mentioned something about activities. He could only guess she meant the ones going on over by the altar where the other kids were currently.

Lironax stood slightly in the background, smiling at the two other boys and the conversation that they were having. In his limited experience, Aludra's social skills left something to be desired (especially around him, although the boy didn't know that), and so seeing him have a pleasant conversation with someone else was rather cheering. Of course, it probably helped that Cody was smaller than them; Aludra seemed to like little kids. Again, he was speaking from little experience, but so far it was a true statement.

He looked down the aisle of the church with the other two, and his wing flapped excitedly at the sight of what the other children were doing. He had never tried combining pudding and Oreos before, but now that he'd seen it done, it struck him as a very logical - and delicious - combination. Looking down at Cody, he nodded. "I think so. I don't see anything else to do in here." With that, he took a few steps towards the table before turning back and waiting for the others. He couldn't help his nervousness; the hugeness of the entire church made him feel uncomfortably small and... like he was treading on a jillion rules without noticing. Certainly a place he would go wandering alone in.

Aludra chuckled a bit and nodded firmly in response. "Should meet. Was fun to play with," he stated matter-of-factly, nodding a few times. "MmHmm. Was fun," he said with a slow nod of his head, before he let himself be distracted once more by the architecture. For some reason, he was much less interested in the activities than he was in an excuse to be inside of the church itself. One of his little wings fluffed up a bit and he sighed softly, before glancing over when the first comment about the activities was made.

"Thinks so," Aludra replied at almost the exact same time as Lironax, blinking over at the Lust spawn curiously before shaking his head. "Worth a try," he stated with a nod. Of course, he wasn't completely sure he wanted to. Most the kids there were younger than he and Lironax, actually. But that was alright. After all, Lir would probably have a blast over there, wouldn't he? Tail swishing a bit, Aludra gestured for the two to follow as he lead his way to the front of the building, almost as though he felt more comfortable here than in his own home.

Cody nodded and grinned, already taking a couple of steps towards the other kids before looking back at the older two and waiting for them to follow. "Well, lets go then," he said, his wings fluttering slightly in excitement at the idea of making something that he could eat. His mom never really let him cook because of all the sharp, but shiny things in the kitchen that he could hurt himself with.

Not only that, but the first few times she did let him help the toddler stole a number of things Shadai was using to cook and had refused to release them for almost five minutes. Since then, she got smart and stopped letting him help unless it was getting things out of the fridge or pantry.

Lironax smiled lightly at the enthusiasm of the other two, and in good time was situated around the same small table as the other children there.

Glancing around at the objects, he eventually picked out one small wooden cross that looked very beaten up. Apparently it had been the rejected one out of the bunch. The sight of it made Lir a little sad, and so he picked up some glitter glue and a white ribbon, determined to make it as pretty as the others. Maybe he could give it to Aludra; it seemed like the kind of gift he would appreciate. Coming to the church had been mostly his idea, after all, and he seemed to really like it here. Lir smiled gently, and hummed as he worked.

In a few short minutes, he deemed it finished, and showed it to Aludra and Cody. The once-drab cross was now decorated in stripes of pink, purple, light blue, and green glitter-glue, with the white ribbon tied in a relatively neat bow, considering Lir had only seen Silas tie ribbons before, and never done it himself. He smiled proudly at his work. "Whaddya you guys think? Is it pretty-lookin'?"

Aludra wasn't nearly as enthused by the making of things as the other two were, completely entranced by the architecture of the building, itself, as well as the designs on the stained glass and everything else. Rather than sitting at one of the tables, he simply sat at one of the pews in the front, giving a softly sigh as he looked at the prayer beads he had wrapped around his wrist. He chuckled softly and smiled a bit, looking up at the large cross behind the altar with interest. It was always strange, he thought, how a family friendly place like this could get away with putting a man nailed to a cross in front of the place and still not get in trouble for it.

He stared at the crucifix for a long while, not knocked out of his trance until Lironax spoke up. He glanced over, giving the other an actual smile, something that rarely happened between he and Lironax, and nodded a couple times. "Did good job, Lir'nax. Is proud," he said, almost whispering, as though he was afraid to speak loudly within the building.
