Standing under the awning of the curio shop he'd been visiting, Faolan pulled the collar of his jacket up, hunching his shoulders a bit at the weather. While it was no torrent downpour, the young man still had little desire to walk in the rain back to the carnival. Not much else had been holding his interest in this district, so he might as well brace the weather and trudge back to the semi-warm bed waiting for him in his tent back home. Giving a sigh, he headed out into the rain.
He had not walked far when he noticed a shop that he wasn't sure he'd seen before here. Maybe its wares were interesting to have a look at, and if not, well, at least it was an excuse to come in out of the rain. Walking over, he pushed the door open to peak inside.
"Hello?" he called out softly before entering, shutting the door behind him. He stayed on the mat at the door, still wet from the rain, and looked around.

Nobody responded, but there were sounds coming from the room to the left of the polished hallway, and th door that said 'Staff room' was angled open. Inside, there was an aggravated argument going on, that cut short when one of the voices told the other to quieten down.
A mere moment later, Faolan was met with a young adult peeking out the room, one oddly coloured furry... lop-eared rabbit ear? looped up slightly, as if the boy was actually straining something to hear better. "Ah! Miss, we've got a visitor, I told you I heard something!" he smiled upon noticing Fao, called into the Staff room.
"Ah, welcome to Life Essentials." he stepped out into the hallway, greeting him with the eagerness of a young, motivated, excited employee. "Here to offer you aid in any trouble you may have." grin. Yes, excited.
Behind him, a green-haired woman emerged from the Staff room, apparently interrupted halfway through her coffee break, but quickly losing all traces of annoyance she still showed. Hello there.

Fao looked the boy over. Well, he was use to strange thanks to growing up in the carnival and having a mirror to remind him that he, himself, was not normal. "Not really feeling like I have trouble, other than the bloody weather outside. I don't suppose you have a towel to dry me off a bit, eh?" He glanced around the shop as he spoke. "What sort of things do you sell here?"

"Weather? Rain, wet, yes, of course we do." Misha gleefully nodded, making his ears flopple in a rather silly manner. "Just a moment!" And off he was, diving into the Staff room to go fetch what he'd requested.
Longway was left to glance after him with a raised eyebrow, then turned her attention back to Faolan, took in his appearance. Hm, curious. Wait. What do they 'sell' here...?
"Life Essentials isn't 'that' kind of shop, mister...? What we offer is entirely free of charge."Intriguing enough to ask more, you think?

Faolan grinned a little. "There's not much that's free. Alright, you have my curiosity piqued. What sort of shop are you running here? He leaned on the door frame, waiting for the answer and for the strange boy to return with a towel.

"Like my... assistant said, Life Essentials offers solutions to many a problem." Longway explained, also awaiting Misha's return.
"We have a method of providing people with a means to make their life easier, in nigh unimainable ways. If you have some time to spare, would you like to get the full information?" The smile, the stature, it all spoke of an even-natured woman who knew what she was doing. What she said she meant, no bullshitting, no games nor tricks.
"We greatly value our customer's and out own discretion, you see... and it is one of our policies that trust is built up in all privacy rather than by lingering in the entrance."

"I have some time to listen," Fao said, intrigued by the idea the shop offered a service to make life eaiser. Not that life wasn't already rather easy for him, but there were hardships on the road and one did have to be careful when pulling a con.
He looked down at his wet clothes, then back at the woman, giving one of his more charming smiles. "Are you sure you want me tracking water through your shop?"

Miss Longway met his smile with one of her own casually amused ones. "You are wet, not a walking shower, sir. The floor was made to be walked on, so that should be no problem either. Besides, there he is." she took a step aside to let Misha pass.
"Here you go mister, straight from the tumbledrier." He handed him a large fluffy white towel, still warm, smiling brightly. If anything it was reminiscent on the rabbit's own hair and fur. He kept a smaller one in reserve.
"Will you come?" Longway repeated.

"Lead the way, darlin'," Fao said, giving a lazy grin. He nodded to the boy, accepting the towel and dried his hair off with it as he follow the woman through the shop. "It doesn't seem like you get many customers. I would have thought with offering a free service to make life better, folk would come a-runnin'. I'm not really sure how you could make lives better, anyway. I mean.. there's a catch to it all, right?"

"Not many have the courage to even respond to our offer." Longway explained him, leading him to their saloon with a loose stride.
Misha had started following them, then right in the middle of the Lobby halted, turned around, and bolted back. A minute later he came jogging back.
"Almost left it open on the table." Eep, that just made him feel like the biggest scatter-brained feilure ever. Sorry little brudda! He held the little box, a pearlescent marble teapot-like thing, in his hands like the world's most precious gem as he tried to recall where on which shelf the thing had to go.
"Hey Misha, why don't you show him what it is we carry here?" Timka beckoned him over, and he warily obliged, walked over to them.
"Well, please have a seat, mister...?" who are you?

"Faolan Grady," he said by way of introduction, watching the strange kid approach. He removed his jacket before sitting down. The floor might not mind a little wetness, but he didn't want to ruin their upholstery. Watching the kid, he addressed the woman He could only guess what might be in the teapot that could "make life easier" as these people kept saying they could. "You know, I'm not much of a tea drinker.. and really not into drugs, either."

"Tea?" Misha'd just joined them when Fao spouted that one.
"Drugs?" Oh dearie meeee, watch that nose of his go twitch twitch in confusion and building indignity.
"MISTER Grady, this isn't a teapot, look!" with a quick dramatic unveil, he removed the top half off the container, like a pot lid. Cushioned in a mattress of soft ethereal-looking white down, the Spark gurgled peacefully, like an enticingly beautiful miniature spring. The stone's shape was strange through, and gave the impression of a claw trying to grasp water.

"I think your jam jar broke," was Fao's first reaction before taking a closer look. The strange artifact was rather . . . enticing. He looked up at the rabbit boy, confusion of his own showing clearly in his golden eyes. "What is it?"
He was having a hard time shaking the impulse to reach out and touch the strange stone hand. Moving closer to the edge of his seat and thus closer to the boy, he leaned forward to have a better look.

Now it was a jam jar! Have you no sense, that's his brethren you're talking about right there, in a high-quality container.
"That's an Essence Spark, mister Grady. Does that ring a bell?"
"It's a Clairvoyance Spark, to be exact!" Misha added, looking indignant still. "I'm sure of it."
Longway glanced at her excitable bunny-boy servant and resisted rolling her eyes, which would've been highly unprofessional. How could HE know?
