Open: Wednesday 22nd, 6pm CST
Close: Saturday, 25th, 6pm CST

In this event, you'll be competing to win the beautiful Beautifly, colored by the wonderful King Inversitle!

User Image

To enter, we're requiring you to... create your own Pokemon!

It can be of any species/types (and it doesn't have to be standard, you can make up your own type!), but we need three things in your post:

1. An image of your pokemon! You can color it, design it, build it, whatever! Use whatever materials you'd like to use on or off the computer, but show us what your critter looks like!

2. A name! No pokemon is worth catching if it doesn't have a name for you to be screaming after it as you hurl balls in its direction.

3. Tell us a little about it! Where do you find it? Are there any fun or interesting facts about it? Is it hard/easy to catch? Give us details! [no length minimum/limit]

4. Moves! Give it 4 moves, whether it's an Attack/Defense/Healing/Etc. It can be a move that "official" pokemon use, or you can make up whatever moves you want for it.

Rules:
1. Do your own work.
2. Do not steal (see #1).
3. Have fun.
4. You can edit your post until closing.

Name: Tempusite

Type: Metaphysical

Height: 13 inches

Weight: unknown. Weight seems to fluctuate erratically as Pokemon phases in and out of this dimension.

Description: Found only in the 4th dimension, this Pokemon remains largely a mystery to PokeScientists around the world. How it exists in our dimension and what exactly it is made out of is undetermined. Only a few are known to exist, and are extremely rare. From the one specimen that has been studied in the lab, this strange Pokemon does not seem to be inordinately powerful, but its attacks are of a like never before seen, and thus there is no way to defend or counter.

Attacks: Hovering soundlessly, Tempusite swiftly executes such attacks as Freeze Frame and Time Bomb, rendering its opponents immobile before obliterating them. It also seems to be able to Teleport and Phase Shift, allowing it to travel great distances in the blink of an eye or making attacks pass straight through it, but this has been documented only once, and from a great distance. It is believed that Tempusite executes Teleport and Phase shift by phasing completely or partially into the fourth dimension.

Status: Extremely rare. Further study required.

[Colored/edited pic coming up!]

Name: Pion (Pie-ohn)
Type: Grass/Water
Avg. Weight: 6 lbs.
Avg. Height: 3'
Habitat: Forest Rivers, attracted to waterfalls.
Info: The Pion is a cute little critter resembling a mix of a kirin, a lion, and a pinecone! Being a grass/water type, it is a sturdy creature that dwells in foresty regions. When angered, Pion bushes out its "mane", often making themselves appear twice their natural size. Being on the smaller scale of pokemon size, Pion are also experts at hiding to prevent themselves being a bigger pokemon's dinner. They blend well with trees, either leafy (ears, tail) or spiky (mane), though preferring the latter due to the arousing aroma of pine. They disguise themselves as pinecones when resting or sleeping as a natural precaution. This pokemon is mid-difficulty to catch because even though they seem little and harmless, they could pack a punch and many-a-pokeball have been deflected by their scaly manes. The majority of the species is, contrary to popular belief, female.
Weaknesses: Flying, Psychic, Fire
Resistances: Water, Ground, Grass
Immunities: Water
Attacks:
+ Quill Dart: An offensive attack. By tilting its woody scales forward, it can send forth poisonous quills, much like a porcupine's, that have a 30% chance of poisoning the opponent.
+ Quick Attack: An offensive attack. Pion can charge forward at incredible speeds, dealing a hearty amount of damage to the opponent.
+ Lockdown: A defensive skill. By closing its scales in a manner not unlike the one used when resting, Pion has a 85% chance of deflecting any physical attack.
+ Photosynthesis: A healing skill. While in Lockdown mode, Pion can revitalize its health at a rate of 5% per minute.

For those of us that are... Artistically challenged... I bring...

DUSTBALL
Never judge ... dirt by its compounds >.>;

User Image

Evolved from: Dirt/dust

Found?: Anywhere! That has dirt, well with the exception of in the water. This little guy is INCREDIBLE. I'm serious. You get a stampede of these guys.. OH MAN. Never wear white around them! Friendly for the most part, though a bit disturbing to wake up to at night. Rather strong for its small size but only with love and care will it get that way! Depending on the level it can range from easy to hard to catch.

Element: ground
Weakness: flying

Attacks:
DustBowl (level 30): 10/10 - Attack; huge duststorm comes, preventing the other from seeing but the dust isn't just dust and dirt. It's sharpened so when it hits, it slices!

Billow (Level 20): 20/20 - Defensive move to lower the enemies accuracy.

Tackle (level 1): 35/35 - Attack; a typical tackle, but it gives a pretty good wallop for its size!

Merge (level 40): 5/5 - The Dustball's ultimate move! Similar to the move dig, the dust ball will vanish into the dirt like camouflage. And then using the particles to gather and shoot pillars up at the enemy!

Size is no matter!

... I used your form, Dai. xD

Name: Zombifly
Type: Infection... A.K.A - Poison/Dark
Height: It depends on what it was to begin with.
Weight: ... That also depends. *Cough*
Moves: Infectious Bite, Brain Chew, Dismemberment, Rambling Stalk
Description: No one knows where or what the first Zombifly originated. Some believe it to be the work of Team Rocket and others theorize it's the work of a rogue scientist. Either way, it doesn't matter. They're popping up everywhere and nobody is safe.
P.S. - It hatches from pokemon corpses. Eeeeew~

Geaiaette

::Type::

Grass/Water/Flying

::About::

Geaiaette is an extremely rare Pokemon, known only to those who can connect with nature on a scale typically impossible to most humans. Peace loving, Geaiaette hates to fight and will run each moment you see her. The most common place to find Geaiaette is the mystical "Gaia Forest", about 5 miles from Victory Road. Many never find it. She is able to fly, swim, and moved easily through the trees. Some speculate she might also possess psychic abilities but as she has never been caught and tested, she is classified as only Grass, Water, and Flying. She is a care-er and will sometimes steal Eggs from the day care center or breeders and find them natural homes so they will grow up untainted and never forced to battle. Her presence is calming and in the face of her all anger, hate, and malice disappears. Length is approximated at 50 ft, while weight is unknown. Appears vary light, less then 50 lbs.

Blurr
((Blade-Purr 8D))
User Image

Species: Living Blade
Height: 2’ 06”
Weight: 196 lbs
Type: Dark/Steel
Ability: Keen Eye ((can't blind something that sees through a gemstone))

This pokemon can be found deep in the mountains of the Sinnoh region. It’s fur is dark, brittle and course to the touch. Up close it appears to be made out of very thin wire. Metal spines grow up out of it’s back and from it’s heels and are thought to keep larger poke-predators from snatching it up. It’s ears are shielded by three angular steel plates. The plates are oddly flexible allowing it’s ears full movement.

Perhaps it’s most notable feature is it’s tail. At the tip of a Blurr’s tail there is a steel blade and a circular red gem. The tail moves on it’s own free will even when the pokemon is asleep. The gem serves as the Blurr’s eyes as it’s own are quite useless. Some travelers have claimed to see the gem blinking at times.

Blurr’s are violent to all creatures outside of their own kind. With their own they are very gentle and are very protective. If one can win their trust they make excellent partners.

Their pre-evolutionary stage, Blews, are easier to befriend as their tails haven’t grown gems leaving them quite blind.

Attacks:
Moonlight- Restores health by bathing itself in the light of the moon.
Shadow Ball- Special attack. Hurls a ball of concentrated dark energy at the foe.
Pin Missile- Launches steel pins at the enemy. On occasion it will use the spines from it’s own back. (They will grow back in a few days)
Blade Strike- Lashes out at the foe with it’s tail. If it is a clean hit the blade can cleave throw bone.

edited: because I forgot it's ability.
