Karndess was more than pleased with her rounds, though from what her ears have caught in the last few days that many more Dhaifu have come to be part of the pride. She flicked her tail ideally, it was tempting, to have someone to keep as her own. However, for the moment she was more focused on preparing Dom for being a future Ushujaa, to have Dom be, in fact, a great warrior on his own terms. Flicking her tail she watched and wondered, being silent as she moved through the rock formations at her side. A sneer fell upon her features, bright red eyes searching for something, a scuffle, something fun, interaction, conversation, something.
She didn't mind being alone, it never bothered her. But lack of excitement was bothersome, "Huh," she shurgged her shoulders, rolled them and stretched.
Where was the movement today? Where was her excitement.

Kahdma'keyhd smirked wickedly as he gazed at the beautiful tiger stripped lioness. She was stunning without a doubt and he...well he had been rather bored. What better way to pass some time than with a sweet looking female?
He got to his feet lazily, heading towards her. Surely the little female would know just how to treat a male like him.
"Well hello my goddess."

She flexed her forearms and stretched her legs as she maneuvered around slate and stone, ears perked to their peak of awareness. Any subtle sound, though a voice caught her and for a moment she caught herself in between a choke and a laugh but stifled herself to withhold the temptation of releasing the pressure in her chest. Goddess she thought to herself without turning to face him right away, he was no threat speaking in this tone, but goddess, if he only knew.
Her crimson eyes fell on him, and she gave a half sneer mixed with a smile in his direction, her tail moved behind her as she turned, claws outstretched, feeling the ground beneath her, testing its warmth and acceptance of her weight.
"Well, well, a new face not known, and he might want something, your name, sir-" she'd play along with this game. For now.

Kahd's orange eyes sparked with amusement at the female's semi-coyness...or so her nature appeared to him. Thick headed male that he was though, all he heard was what he wanted to hear, she was smiling at him and playing the game...
"Yours is the new face, and a most beauitful and welcome face as well. I am Kahd. And might a lowly mortal be gifted with your name?"
She -was- stunning to be sure, better yet she was a new face, one that might not have been warned about him yet. Oh not that he was a bad guy towards his pride members. He was just the love'em and leave'em type. He rather liked the thrill of the chase, the fleeting passion and then he lost interest in the game once it was done.

"A new face? You must be wandering too many upon your days then, Kahd," such a strange male, but as males were, she knew it too well. So many times as she was once a rogue before meeting that doomed family she had been approached, ah the thrill of defeating seeking lions, too entertaining. Flicking her tails he almost rolled her crimson eyes at him. The setting sun met boiling blood in her cast glance at his eyes. She smirked, swept a paw against the ground.
"You see, mortal, your games entice me none like others might have been fooled, your out of reach with me I'm afraid, Kahd," she drew out his name on her tongue.
"You see, I've been around more than one passing moon, I know the games, and know how to play them, and leave them once I see fit, though games of chase of passions mean nothing to me, the thrill of the hunt and strength of a fighter, are so much more important."
Even Dom knew that.
"So, Kahd, what was the last thing you said to your last prize that was so enticing they could not behave?" she sneered.

Kahd blinked a few times slightly stunned. My but she was a sharp one! If only he knew how idiotic he looked with his jaw hanging open just slightly, a rather befuddled look on his face as his mind tried to race ahead. He rather looked like he had been hit in the back of the head with something.
When nothing brilliant sprang into his poor brain he gave up trying to be suave and shrugged slightly. "Honestly? I have no idea...most girls seem to like me. Why don't you?"
It truly confused him that the dark lioness wasn't falling all over herself to be with him. Don't all females want some male to want them? He knew his sister Amux said she didn't but why would she spend all that time with someone else's cubs unless it's just cause she wants her own and hadn't proved herself to some male yet.
Huffing faintly he tilted his head to watch her with that faintly puzzled look on his face.

Karndess grinned and held in a laugh at his expression. Males, were they really all the same? Swaying her tail she circled around him, non-threateningly of course. Not sizing him up, just, watching him react, reactions were so intriguing and you could learn so much from others with intimidation, interaction. "Some females may mind that a male's presence and affection is welcomed and always forthcoming, though it is not needed, usually. But there are times when such company is needed for survival."
Survival, as she meant, though she was not sure if he would understand, meant those things that made life worth it. Females who need affection, need males, those that need protection, need stronger beings, like males, broken hearts can be mended by males, prides could prosper and expand with males, life was just a complicated thing.
"I consider myself perhaps attune to my surroundings, before my arrival here, I had encountered many males, such as yourself, I've learned over time and know what to expect and where to hesitate. However, if it is loyalty, trust, friendship you seek instead of a mere courtship or fling beneath the sun above the slate, perhaps you have wandered in the right direction today. Though know this, Kahd, I am truly capable of fending for myself." Karndess believed in strength, and not having others cater to your whims, you needed strength to survive.

Kahd stared at the female before him for a moment longer before sighing in disgust. She would have to be one of those damn 'smart' females. Why the gods insisted on giving females brains, he had no idea. To his mind any attractive female should be only smart enough to know she needed a big strong male to protect her. It was ok if ugly females had brains...they needed something.
Shaking his head, Kahd huffed faintly. Why would he want anything other than a fling today? He wasn't some weak sap that wanted to settle down with one female and have cubs. The mere thought made him shudder all over as if ants where biting his skin. As for friendship, that actually made him pause for a moment. He didn't have a friend that was female, it might be a novel new experience. If nothing else maybe she could teach him fast ways to woo others.
"Ok, we can be friends." He gave her a big goofy grin as if he were doing her a huge favor by agreeing to be friends with her.

Karndess smirked at him and swayed her tail. As he, she assumed, knew how to sway the affection of females she knew how to manipulate those same affections to better her chances and survival. Loyalty came with friendship, and there needed to be loyalty amongst the ushujaa, there was no room for it not flourishing between the warriors.
"Friends then," friends, though there would be a line drawn, perhaps, between herself and him. There was of course, the other plausibility of spreading the pride, making it stronger, but she was smarter than that, though knew there were certain ways to help with that problem. Smiling at him, she stood and stretched, walked by him, letting her side brush his as she moved, and she purred and licked her lips.
"I will see you later, my friend," and she trailed past him, his scent on her nose to know if he beckoned later on and tried his mischief again.
However, these games could be fun.

Kahd shook his head confused but smiled all the same. This chick was beyond weird. Sure she was hot but she liked to talk way to much for his taste. Ah well, it was a good thing she wasn't interested after all. Kahd liked them sweet and submissive, not smart and talky.
Watching her walk away, he grinned faintly. Still, she was one hot momma....maybe it would be...Shaking his head frantic to end that trail of thought he got back to his feet heading off to take over his watching spot.
