I didn't have something to say until just now. I tried writing a bit 'as a child' and holy crap, it's actually hard! Like, where is my vocabulary? Then again, Dr. Suess decided to write with a huge vocabulary... I'll have to look into this some more. ^^

My favorites were The Little Prince and The Wizard of Oz. I know I couldn't write one though...

I read and article awhile ago about writing children's books, kids love huge vocabulary but simple plot lines. If you look at a lot of picture books, they aren't always d**k and Jane.
I'd love to write a kid's book one day, but I never have any child friendly ideas.

D: I love children's books toooooo. I took a class on it while I was in England and it was so much fun. I could totally get behind that as my doctorate thesis.
I haven't decided whether to try and make part one of my non-masterpiece into a children's book... or an adult's book about a child. Backwards like. Probably the latter since my notions lean towards the horrible. Maybe two versions.
