i know alot of people play magic, and i also know alot of people have no clue about it. i wouldnt say im a guru by any means but this is a place to converse and ask questions.
if this doesnt work out to well in the next couple of days i will delete this forum.

huh? i have no idea what you said.
Basic:
you start off with 20 life
you have your mana colors which are:
black=swamp
blue=island
green=forest
red=mountain
white=plains
you can use them for thier color, or a colorless mana.
Example:
in the top right hand corner of your card you want to play, it has 3 skulls and a number 2 in a grey circle.
that means you have to tap 3 black mana and 2 of any other color you have in play, equaling 5 mana.
you must tap (turn sideways) those mana cards to show you played them and then you can put your card you payed for into play.
never pay more mana than you use because you will have mana burn which causes you to use life.
say your card cost 3 mana to play, every extra mana you tap will cause you to loose 2 life, so if you paid 5 on accident you loose 4 life.
