Thali had decided to take up Gabriel's offer on visiting their farm, and so she, Vinny, Josh, and the twins, found themselves on their way to East Aekea. The older children kept exchanging looks, they knew their mother was prone to getting lost.
"Reiya and Sammi are sleeping, aren't they?" Thali asked, not daring to take her eyes off the road. It was a long drive, and she really didn't want to lose her way. She peered into the rear-view mirror, and smiled as Joshua nodded.
The twins were only a couple days old, you'd have thought an elf would be smart enough not to take them out yet. She'd promised Gabriel's daughter that she would bring them with her.
They drove onto a dirt road, and they hadn't been on it long when they spotted a house that fit Gabriel's description. A large yellow house, with around three stories. The elf parked the car, got out and stretched. "Well, I think this is the place." She said.

A car was pulling into the drive way , but Gabriel wasn't due back for another three hours. Pepo the little pumpkin being looked out the window. That wasn't a car he was use to. Soon it clicked it was a visitor. He made sure to grab Frank the little pale looking rock being. When he walked outside he saw children also. How exciting but the thunderous sounds of Zudo in back yard was overwhelming.
He looked at the women and gave her a sign like "hold on a moment". He put Frank down then ran off behind the house. He soon got to Zudo and the gang working on a plot land " Guys we have a visitor your going to have to take a brake" Pepo said with enthusiasm.
The rugged looking group understood and went over to the near by hose to wash off. Pepo right away ran back over to the women , around ten minutes went by from his first moment with her to now. He then walked over to Frank then walked back over to her. " Hello Welcome to the Night Family Farm". Frank looked at thr group then made five soft chirps. This was a good sign and this made Pepo feel good.

Thali smiled at Pepo, nodded and thanked him. "Gabriel's not here?" She asked, with a tilt of her head. That was strange, he was the one who'd invited them. "These are my children. Josh, Vinny, Reiya and Sammi." She gestured to each boy, and then the two infants. The twins were easy to tell apart, Reiya looked more like her mother, with a white-and-pink complection and pointed ears. Samantha was more like her father--but in looks only.
She was tan, and had freckles. Thali looked curious when she heard the soft chirping sound. Her pointed ears stuck out from under her hair, despite how much she tried to hide them. "Marcy's here, right? We're really here to see her." She explained. "My son, Vincent, he's brought her a present."
Vinny blushed, and held out a teddy bear. He muttered something about it being nothing.

Pepo looked at her and smiled , it took him alot of time to register things " Gabriel had to get a check up on the new baby , but Marcy is doing crafts with the other Night girls , do you want me to take you to her?" he asked.
Ryan a little rhino boy , ran past Thaili and the gang fallowed by two young adults who shared the same body. Ryan was getting shot by a water gun carried by both the teens. It seemed Ryan was trying to get to the front yard water hose since he was carrying an empty water gun. The boys didn't notice the visitors at first. Then at a sudden movements all the three of the boys looked at Thailie.
Ephesians the leaf twin waved then Autumnus the fire twin waved , Ryan just stared at a certain part of Thaili'es antimony. Autumnus smacked the boy in the head , then both twins sprayed Ryan.

"Sure." Thali said, with a smile. "Gabriel's got a new baby?" She asked, curious. "From the Patch, right?" She added, remembering when she'd been asked about the place she'd gotten Joshua. "What's the baby's name?"
Thali smiled and waved at the three boys. Josh glared at Ryan, and mouthed something like; "I dare you to keep looking at my mom like that." Vinny waved, shifting the infant he'd taken from the car.
"Mom, come on. I want to see Marcy." Vinny said, after handing his brother said infant, and taking out Sammi.

Once the twins water gun ran out of water , and Ryan was soaked he then filled his water gun. After him the twins did the same and chased Ryan to the other side of the house.
Pepo looked at the gang and said his favorite line " Well then come with me" He put Frank down then opened the door , and picked him back up. Once he was in the door he put Frank back on his little bed like pad , where he sat most of the day and night.
" This house was made back in the eighteen hundreds and owned by a famous couple who farmed for over hundred and twenty years" he went on about the history of the house till he got to craft room. They had to go down into the basement , though it wasn't like other basements since you could see the outside from it.
" Here we are" Pepo said. In the room was a Nanny , Marcy , Millie and one other girl. Both Marcy and Millie recognized Josh. Only Marcy knew who Vinny was. Marcy got up and hugged them. Millie hugged Josh and gave Vinny a good look.
Ro-Honda the twin of the boy they just saw didn't pay them any attention. The Nanny named Paulette looked at the group " Well hello there " she smiled. Pepo introduced the group. After doing so he waved to everyone and walked back up to the living room.
" It’s nice to finally meet you Thali" said Paulette " What brings you around" she asked. Marcy and Millie talked to the boys.
" So what you doing here Vinny and Josh?" Marcy was so shocked by their visit. Millie was also wondering the same thing.

Thali nodded and smiled as Pepo talked about the farm. She wasn't really paying much attention--she kept wondering if Gabriel would be back soon. After all, he was the one who invited them. The elf felt shy around these people--she'd never met anyone like them. "Hi Marcy, Millie." She greeted as they walked into the room.
Vinny smiled and gave his friend a one armed hug, careful not to frighten Sammi. "I told you I'd bring my sisters." He said with a smile. "This is Samantha--but we call her Sammi." He didn't know Millie, so he gave her a look as she hugged Josh.
"And this is Reiya." Josh supplied, after hugging both girls; however awkwardly. "Where's your Dady?" He asked. "He invited us--and he's not here."
Thali looked up to smile at Paulette. "Gabriel invited us." She said. "I suppose I should have called--but the boys were so convinced that they had to introduce the twins to Marcy.." She teasingly rolled her eyes at her sons.

" Awww , well Mr.Night had to bring the baby for a check up , after his meeting with you he went down and got a child from the 'Cabbage Patch'. He should be back anytime now". She smiled at the women.
Marcy looked at Sammi then looked at Reiya " They are so cute , maybe they will be friends with my new brother Kala....mo" she didn't know if she said the name right or not.
Millie didn't want to be rude so she pointed to her sister " this is Ro-Honda , she is making crafts ... so don't bother her" she said quit voice " she's in the zone"
Marcy looked at Vinny " Hey Im done with my craft so I can go out , we can't go in the back yard , since there doing worky stuff , but I can show you around the barn.
Millie looked sad , " Im not done with mine , so I can't go out"
Marcy smiled " Well Vinny can go with me , and Josh can stay here with you" Marcy looked at the two grown ups.
"Its fine with me , if its fine with Thalie" said Paulette.

"Oh, I know the Cabbage Patch." Thali said with a knowing smile towards Josh. "I have something in the car for him, when he arrives." She nodded at Paulette. "If he doesn't show up before it's time to leave, I'll trust you to give it to him."
"Maybe." Vinny said with a smile and a nod. "But I think for now they're too little to be friends with anyone--they've just learned to pull hair, and make a lot of noise." Not exactly the kind of friend the boy would be looking for. "Sure!" He said, smiling at the idea of going outside. "I can teach you the new game we learned." He handed his mother Sammi, before looking at Millie. "It was nice meeting you." He said.
Josh sat at the crafts table. "What are you making?" He asked, smiling at Millie.
"I think the boys are alright with it." Thali said with a grin.

" Im sure he will be home anytime now , just had to do a minor check up on the child , hes quit unique". She chuckled to herself then listened to Marcy " Yes dear you can go out to the barn just be safe.
Marcy hooked arms with Vinny " new game I can't wait!" she said as her hair bounced from side to side , she let it down today.
Millie looked at Josh "we are making paper crains and than making bird houses. Im painting music notes on my crain and house. Thats why its taking me so long"
Paulette spoke to Josh " You can make one too , if you want" she saw Marcy and Vinny walk out " Make sure to be safe young lady" she shouted.
Marcy turned back with a wave and a smile " I will".

Thali nodded. "Children from the Patch usually are. My friend's son, Miles he--" But she never got to finish what she was saying about her nephew, because Joshua interrupted her.
"Mom! Which do you want? A crane or a birdhouse?" The boy asked, with a tilt of his head. Thali just frowned at him. The elf hated being interrupted.
"Either is fine." She said with a shrug. "So are you Gabriel's wife?" She asked, looking at Paulette. "I don't believe he's ever told me about you." Hadn't Gabe said it was just his kids and him?
Vinny looked back at the adults and his older brother. "I'll keep her safe!" He promised.

Paulette listened to Thailie " Ahhh hu , yea " she was making a sweater with a knitting needle. Then she was in shock when she heard ' Are you his wife'. " No honey I'm his nanny". She gave her a soar face and kept knitting.
Marcy still holding onto Vinny , she just giggled " Watch your step" she said , as they climbed up the stairs.

Thali blinked. "Oh, I see." She said. She hadn't expected Gabriel to have a nanny. After all, she didn't have one--though she supposed having six kids was more work than having four. Being an elf, she wasn't used to Gaian customs yet. Was it customary to have a nanny?
Vinny smiled, and looked to Marcy. "I'm supposed to take care of you, not the other way around." He pointed out. "I don't think Josh'll have much fun inside." If he hadn't been a child of humility, he would have chuckled at situation his older brother was in. "Mom says he's going into his 'preteen' phase."

Marcy just smiled , she was alot taller than the last time she talked Vinny. "Well Im sure Millie will be done with her crafts soon " she said with a skip and hop , they where almost out of the house. She turned to Frank and Pepo " Bye guys"she said as she opened the door to get outside.
" I wonder what its like to be normal " she said , but then she moved off the topic. " Lead me to the barn Mr.Vinny" she pointed to the barns direction. It was a huge barn that use to house over thousand or so cows. Each cow had their own space , and feed , so it was vary vary big. A little bigger then a warehouse, and with three stories.

"Hope so. I don't want Josh feeling bad--you were his friend first." Vinny said modestly. It wouldn't have been fair of Vinny to steal his brother's friends. He stared at her for a moment. "You are normal."
"Normal doesn't really exist." He pointed out. "Everyone's unique see--so everyone's both normal, and not normal. Mom says it all the time." He shrugged. "I don't actually understand what she means by it." He led the toddler to the barn. "I've never seen a barn this big before." He commented. The scent of cows reached his nose and he made a face.
