Umhlaba'Umntwana, most commonly known as Twana and on the verge of getting her Peke Na or 'wolf name' sat quietly on the borders of her new pack. As always thoughts were bursting from every spot in her mind. She was always thinking, questioning, pondering. 'What is that, where did it come from, or how does it work?' were common phrases slipping from this young wild dogs maw. She gazes up, the stars were bright in the midnight sky and most life was still. Her single friend from the pack was with his mom and she was left to herself. "I wonder how big this world is?" She asked herself, eyes glued to the sky still. they glitter as they always do when she asks a question.
Her wonder continued as she looks straight ahead. Noises were starting to build around her, crickets some birds and a few others. She stands her large paws taking their first few awkward steps that come with standing after a time of sitting and she's off in a very general direction. She enjoyed exploring so this wasn't out of her way at all. She walked for about 15 minutes, but that included about 50 different stops to sniff at different plants and look at different bugs or scope out scents on a few nearby trees. She enjoyed being on her own at times. The silence and thoughts were enough to keep her company. but, it didn't help any unanswered questions.
