Description of Limit:
The Vergrandis specialty is being able to reproduce, expand, and alter the cells in the human body in order to Defend, Attack, or Heal. Due to their wide range of utilities and abilities in their bloodline they seperated each aspect into "specialties" that each clan member must choose once they reach the age of 12. these were simply called Tentatio (Offensive), Vallo (Defensive), Vigoratus (Heal). The clan also does not contain Bones instead their skeletal structure is made from a sturdy form of cartilage.

Tentatio focuses upon controlling their skin cells forcing their skint o expel outward causing pillars of flesh to arise. From this they they focus their into their flesh slowly to turn it into a hard metal allow that could compare to iron. They excel in hand to hand combat and because they may create their own weapons their fighting styles vary greatly.

Vallo use their control over their cells to recreate massive membranes that surrounded a team. The users may even create flagellum onto the membranes for fast movement and escapes. They also create defensive walls in an instant from their membranes.

Vigoratus clan create stem cells to help heal their team-mates and recreate their major organs, limbs, or heal minor wounds over time. This specialty has no offensive or defensive capabilities but they are fast at healing and may uses healing methods during combat for minor wounds.

History:
The Vergrandis clan is one of the oldest clans in existance. It is over 1000 years old with a history that blooms since before konohakagure was ever thought about. The clan was actually formed during a period of time in which an "alphabet" was starting to spread through-out the countries and writing was sprouting.

It all started with a single plague that spread across the country of Oto and began to effect the barely inhabited land that was occupied by a small group of impoverish villagers. Each villager was struck hard by the plaque except for most of the young children who had the immunities to fight off the plague. All of the children shaken and scared from their parents laying sick in their families beds. The children who had the stomach to take care of their families often suffered through mental trauma and couldn't watch the flesh fall from the once loving faces of their dying loved-ones.

A child, named Izahel, sitting beside the river-side crying over the loss of his parents was weeping into his hands. He couldn't possibly no older than the age of 7 and he was already feeling the deep tearing in his soul and the abyss of loneliness swallow him. Not to mention he had a variety of cuts and bruises upon his body from the members of the small village who had blamed him for the death of his family. As the tears cascaded from his eyes, he leaned away from his hands to attempt to see his reflection in the ripples of the water but his hands... His hands were "Melting" and yet he had felt no pain from it. The child stood their gaping at the flesh that seemed to roll from his finger-tips like liquid.

He was scared. Was this the blessing of god so this child was to never live alone? or something greater?

The liquid-flesh rolled upon the cuts of his arms sticking to the open wounds and slowly healing the flesh right before his Grey clouded eyes. The child was in horror as the flesh began to come together. To make sure this obscurity wasn't just a trick of his tear filled eyes he began to rub his hands across his other cuts and bruises only to find them all disappear. His tears stopped and his jaw-dropped only to shake with fear.

He was a freak.

Upon this time a friend of his walked upon him and came to console him from just bein exiled from the village. The young Izahel showed his friend Aquerion his powers only for Aquerion who was the age of 12 to show Izahel his ability to make his flesh buldge, crawl, and extend from his arm. Aquerion however didn't care much for his gift, he was completely astounded by his friends abilities and quickly brought him back to the village to attempt to heal the sickened elderly and the parentals of the village.

Everyone had been saved.. Except for his parents.

As the village was salvaged they all accepted the emotionally worn child Izahel back into their culture as a "savior". 10 years passed before a child who was the age of 15 approached Izahel and fell to the ground pleading to join Izahel and Aquerion as the Guardians of the village. His name was Kemuni.

They questioned him slightly because he could easily just join the villagers city-guards. Why did he go to them? But they soon saw that he could create walls of flesh to protect them and to trap enemies. They had found another ally.

Many generations past from these 3 founders.

300 years later almost every villager of the once doomed city had became aware of Chakra and of their unique abilities. They all praised and boasted for their powers before finally the country of Oto decided to "Expand" their territory and declared war upon the villages that occupied the western territories.

A great war had came to the villagers and as they fought back with their unique powers the Country of Oto became scared and initiated a mass genocide of the Vergrandis and their people. Many of the villagers had fled their country by this time but 3 villagers still fought each villager looking exactly like the founders of the village for they were...

Izahel, Aquerion, And Kemuni.

They now 500 year old veterans fought off the city of Oto only for them to "die" upon the battle-field to protect their people. In Actuality they restarted their lives starting back over from birth using their unique abilities and restarting new lives in a separate village.

As konohagakure began to bloom the 3 traveling friends came upon the village and told the first leader Hashirama Senju that they were just passing through the village. The kind leader allowed them passage and extended hospitality. That night they enjoyed the luxuries of life and began a game of drinking with each other. The merriment of Bacchus was strong with Aquerion and he began to tell the 700 year old stories of his clan and his friends and how they had survived for so long.

Many people of Konoha objected to this idea and all began to attack the 3 friends. Due to their drunken state they could not fight back properly and almost lost the fight. They barely escaped losing most of their limbs being chased by the 1st. They hid within a membrane Kemuni had created and restarted their lives once again.

The first had came upon these 3 children and quickly recognized their chakra abilities. After many days of caring for the children he decided it was best to seal the 3 children away so they were not a harm to his own village and so he never had to end their lives..

He sealed Kemuni inside of a vase and sent him to the east. The vase was indestructible and was considered a historical artifact. Aquerion was sealed away inside of a boat and sent to the village of Kirigakure as a gift of "Good will and peace". Izahel however was sealed away inside of a photograph of the The Senju family and was kept in in the main hall of the Hokage tower.

The seals were al broken at different times. Kemuni was released 400 years later, Aquerion was released 500 and Izahel was released 600. Each had lost their memory and had raised a family completely ignorant of their past. Their children each possessing the unique abilities and the Vergrandis clan thriving. Each clan member with seperate last names doomed to never know of their past.

The billions of skin cells that have disconnected themselves are then control by the users chakra in which they force the chakra to move around them rapidly at incredible speeds that tear apart the cells inside of the body and around the user. These cells moving at speeds of 590 mph (sound barrier) forcing the sound barrier to break billions of time which further break down the cells around the user.

Once reborn, the user will lose nearly all of their previous ability save for a few lower-level techniques. During this reborn life the user will be able to recall certain teachings and jutsu, enabling them to learn faster and better than before. They will be more in tune with the cellular structure of their body, able to take on two specialties rather than only one as they had in their previous body.

Special: The user will become encased in a tough membrane for a period of one week. During the week the user will be in a comatose state, only able to dream and recall their previous memories. Once the week has ended, the membrane will begin to dissolve and a young child will awake from within it.
That child will undergo rapid growth during the next few weeks, eventually halting the accelerated growth around age 13. The child will retain the most of it's former memories by that time, along with one lower level jutsu (E-rank). Their newly formed bodies are more in tune with the cell reproduction system, allowing them to take on two Vergrandis specialties rather than just one.
If this process is continued a third time, they will gain the ability to have all three of the Vergrandis specialties along with two lower level jutsu (as opposed to one). Reincarnations after the third will begin to lose their effectiveness, giving the user no additional benefits.

This is the historical Locational Area so you have an Idea of where they originated.

Since this is my final clan (if it actually works out) I will be needing all the help i can get with this one now that i am somewhat familiar with it.

It will take me a long time by myself considering i wish for this to have actually detailed jutsus. Detailed history. Very balanced jutsus/stats/etc...

Considering this clan mainly focuses upon altering their body and manipulating their cells they have ALOt of potential that could be reached and because of their potential they need to have somewhat diminishing stats that helps balancing the clan.

I like the idea of the clan. It seems a little Kaguya, but you're not making skin weapons or anything, lol. Although you have it in mind for them to harden up their skin, having a flexible, elastic-like wall (which also happens to be water proof! Woot!) can have more benefits than a rigid wall in certain scenarios. Try making some jutsus like that. It's your final clan, might as well have fun with it.

You have a VERY detailed history, lol. Good job. Lots of creativity and inspiration. I don't really understand why the first went after them though. Or this part: "they restarted their lives starting back over from birth using their unique abilities and restarting new lives in a separate village." Does that mean they reverted back to babies?

Maybe for the first 3 of the clan, but I don't know if crew members would enjoy other members having such a prolonged lifespan. Maybe like 200+ years?

@Vigoratus: You should probably have Chakra or Chakra control as the bonuses instead of Wisdom. For all of the medical jutsu your chakra modifier is used (along with treat injury, chakra control, etc.). Vigoratus Vergrandis' would need to know complex medical jutsu along with the clan jutsu in order to be the most efficient healers they can be.

As for other bonuses, maybe add a bonus/penalty for skills? The Tentatio could have a +2 every 5 levels to Taijutsu and a -2 every 5 to..Genjutsu? I don't know but something along those lines. Lol. As long as you don't overpower the clan, might as we get as many bonuses as you can.


These are all just suggestions. I in no way meant to offend or overrule you in your creation of this clan.

Lol. The tentatio have to make skin weapons. Lol.

Oh and yes they did restart over as babies.

I was going to make a reincarnaiton jutsu but in order for it to work you need all 3 pieces of the clan present. Then the Vallo would create the cell membrane to act as a "Womb" to the members of the clan. The Tentatio would break down all the clan members cells back to the basic strip of D.N.A. Then the Vigoratus would reform everyone back as a newborn baby. Restarting all of their stats and everything.

Kind of like an old age, scared of death reincarnation jutsu.

the first wen tafter them because the villagers were in an uproar about them. Being the leader you would do something correct? and instead of killing them (Because i figured the first was kind) he just sealed them away and seperated them. biggrin

I really like the how the reincarnation jutsu will reset their stats and everything. Adds a cool touch.

Yes, I guess I didn't read that part, lol. Yeah I see him as a kind leader rather than a vengeful one (of course, I can't recite lines of cannon from memory so I have no clue lol).

I might end up making a Vergrandis once it's approved ^_^. By the way, what does that mean? It sounds Latin, which is a nice change from all of the Japanese.

I do not make them because I REALLY want to use the clan I just simply make them because... I am creative!! biggrin This clan is kind of my back-up because the kaguya clan is "Dead" according to everyone.. sad

So I am making this clan!! biggrin Lol. This clan actually might be a bit selective with... Because the clan is extremely versatile witht he roles of Defense, offense, and Medic.

Vergrandis is Latin for little. Lol. As in cellular. Tentatio is Latin for attack. Vallo is Latin for Defend and Vigoratus is Latin for Heal.

I got tired of japanese names too because well.. Everyone assumes just because it is an anime it all has to has japanese names... >.> I say NAY!! but if you check out the Animussi clan (Which still isn't finished) all of the names are latin as well.. Also I figured latin would be GREAT for this clan because it is so old and well... Latin rules biggrin

But for the reincarnation i think I might allow it so they may keep one B-rank or lower lvl jutsu from the current branch they were in...

Like if they were Tentatio then went to becoming Vigoratus then they may keep one of their B-rank or lower Tentatio Jutsus. biggrin so then they atleast get some benefit from starting over ya kno?

Yeah, maybe a jutsu and some bonus to one of their non-physical abilities (Chakra, Wisdom, Charisma, Intelligence) seeing as their bodies just reverted into a child-state. Eh, that might end up being too complicated, but I don't know. If not for that, then there will be almost no point to reincarnating.

I understand that the Kaguya is dead in cannon, but a great clan is still a great clan. While not as powerful as them (although much more versatile), being selective with members is probably best. Like you said, everyone with the ability to create/heal things so easily would be troublesome.

Well I do not mind it being complicated for this is a sculpture and the more detailed a piece of work is the more beautiful it becomes.

lol. Thanks man I told you I wanted them to be detailed. Also I want this clan to have an actual original history/background where the do not have to depend upon another stories background. (They only had to depend upon the First Hokage) Also The clan's history allows it so any may create this clan member in any village/continent they want to.

It also allows for the characters to fully create/manipulate their past in anyway shape or form they wish to. It allows more flexibility and allows the owners of the characters of a Vergrandis member to become more creative with their Histories. biggrin

Wow, fast once again with some jutsus, lol.

@Flesh Hardening: Looks good. I think Crafting might not fit just right though. That's more for actually making something with your hands like clothes or weapons. Sounds like flesh hardening would be more of a chakra control skill. If not, for craft it would have to be something like "Craft: Flesh" which is just a little weird lol.

@Weapon Mold, Flesh Wall, Healing Touch: I got ragged on this one before. As much as it makes sense, crew will not allow you to not require an amount of days for training (at least from what I've read). Everything takes some amount of practice. Put it for like 1 or 2, something small.

@Weapon Mold: You should probably make a varied Cp and training for different weapon sizes. A dagger would definitely take less Cp to form than would a sword, or a spear. Also, the +5 to base damage would be in addition to the damage given by the weapon originally (in Weapons and Tools thread) or replacing it?

@War Machine: Sounds like a jutsu to simplify using Flesh Hardening and Weapon Mold at the same time. Maybe you should change it up so it's a little different. Also, why would Flesh Hardening add to your base damage if you aren't fighting with your body? You'll be fighting with the molded weapon.

@Flesh Wall: Should probably up the Cp cost and maybe add some kind of limitation/varied Cp cost. Can't go around making 50 foot walls on just 3 Cp, lol. If you could that would be pwnage.

@Healing Touch: Looks good ^_^ Is this only for the caster or can it be used on others as well?

No, please don’t do this. I hate multi rank jutsu. It becomes so cumbersome to deal with, trust me. Just make this like one rank and vary the power based on the chakra used. Sides, just putting skin, even hardened skin, on your fist wouldn’t give you numbers that high. Specially for the B, A and S ranks.

Good but how do you determine which wall the person uses? I mean I know they can say ‘solid wall’ or whatever. Also, can they change the type of wall on a whim or does it take some time? I believe it should take at least one post to change it. Also, if the blunt force attack does so much damage, it’d still break the wall or at least stop. Lets see… if it does at least half the current HP of the wall, it just stops cold (no bounce back) but obviously if it matches or beats the wall, you take the damage. One more thing, wouldn’t the Wall HPs be different?

which is it? Time cut in half or in third? At any rate, its almost useless as a person only has to wait a full rp day to be back at full health so long as their hp doesn’t reach 0 or below. Sooo yea, this jutsu is kinda pointless except for your resurrection thing. And training would be higher.

If this process is continued a third time, they will gain the ability to have all three of the Vergrandis specialties along with two lower level jutsu (as opposed to one). Reincarnations after the third will begin to lose their effectiveness, giving the user no additional benefits.
Training would be higher first off. About 50 or 60 days easy. Can’t say I like this jutsu period. Make it so you have to relearn it and it costs the same amount of time each time. Stats need to be much higher as well. And what happens if, say, the thing is attacked while your doing this jutsu? Wouldn’t you like… ya know… die due to incompletness?

Okay, I changed the wording to make it simpler. My intention was for these clones to pretty much be these chakra-infused skin clones, meaning they were always reproducing cells due to the user's ability to do so. The clones themselves don't have the chakra systems to use any ability, but they have (unusable) chakra inside of them from the user to help them regenerate. Any idea of how to simplify that? sweatdrop

Okay, made the necessary changes. Blunt force damage that now makes/exceeds 75% of total wall HP doesn't bounce and it costs 10CP and one post to change already made wall. I would think the HPs of the two wall types would be the same, only difference is the abilities of both of the walls.

Don't know what to do with this now that you mentioned someone can completely recover their HP in one day. How long would it take someone who has/is below 0 HP to recover? I haven't been able to find that anywhere. I guess if that takes pretty long then this jutsu might have a use. If not, then might as well get rid of this one..

Okay, I increased training quite I bit. I meant for it to be 14, not just 4 lol. Bumped it up to 30, but there are 3 other jutsus required making it a total of 56 training days. Also increased the requirements and added HP to the membrane surrounding the user. The intention was for the user to use it inside of the Vergrandis camp, or in some place that they would not be harmed. If they are attacked though I made the HP extremely high. They'll be in there for a week, can't have someone just kill them off with a single jutsu. Let me know what you think.

@Flesh Clone: Yea, I figured that’s what you meant. And that’s fine if they use the chakra in them to reproduce their HP but… hmmm I say have a limit to it. Obviously they wouldn’t be able to do that forever or else they’d use up the chakra holding them together. Hmmm you could do it one of two ways. Either make it a drain on the users CP or give the clones a set amount of CP from the user to start. Basically this CP acts as how much they can regenerate like multiply the amount of CP by 3 or something to recover it. There are other ways, sure but those are just the two that came to mind.

@Shield Membrane: Ok, those are fine. Although…

@Healing chamber: hmmm should be mentioned somewhere… weird. But yea, it only takes 1 full real life day to recover from 0 but you only go to 1 hp at that point. It takes another full day to fully recover if I’m not mistaken.

@Secret art… hmmm ok, that’s fine.
